For some reason the friendly young female server decided to drown my food in vinegar, what should have been a pleasant lunch turned into a rather acidic, unpleasant vinegar soup consisting of soggy chips and a rubbish catering sausage. Not the best way to part with a five pound note. Threw my chips to feed the seagulls who thought twice about the soggy detritus. Great location for restaurant, not so great food on offer!

The lady with short hair taking our order in line was very rude and mocked my immigrant mum for trying to order in English. She even went to the next customer behind us and said something about my mum behind her back. The line there was long and we stood in the same spot of 10 minutes. Would not recommend this place at all. Even the small shop a few minutes away was much better and nicer compared to Boofys.

This is a cracking takeaway in Duffryn, just off the J28 M4 nr Newport. Situated within a stones throw of the historic Tredegar House we have driven out of our way to go here. The food is fresh, piping hot and very tasty! Although the shopping area the takeaway is in is rather tired and run down - driving there it looks like a dead end from the main road, don’t be put off; it’s worth it!

Just had undercooked chips from there. Couldn't even be bothered going back. Food is usually poor from here. It was extremely decent 15 years ago when the italian family had it, but it's turned into a typical kebab/pizza/fish and chips/vape hybrid shop now. And the food is not at all nice

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. First, the staff were quite rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone. After ordering my food, I was informed it was a cash-only establishment. Considering it’s 2024, this is highly inconvenient. When I mentioned I only had a card, the staff reacted as if it was unusual, which felt dismissive. This outdated approach, combined with the lack of customer service, makes it hard to recommend this place. It’s only a matter of time before a more modern and customer-friendly chip shop comes along and takes their business. If you're in the area, I’d advise going further into Caldicot for fish and chips.

We thought we would treat ourselves to Fish and Chips for a change and had 2 Fish bites each, a portion of Chips, Peas and Curry sauce. The first one we ate was just about edible and the second one looked a bit grey, my Wife left hers but I ate most of mine, I wish I hadn’t because next day I was not well, awful, never again.

This has been our favourite Takeaway for quite some time and always had great food every weekend from here. Except tonight, whilst eating my food find a long black hair strand in it, needless to say, my food went straight in the bin, absolutely disgusting 🤮
