The best fish and chip I've had in years. The batter was light and crispy the fish was cooked to perfection and the chips was tasty without a bitter after taste. I would recommend the chippy and give a score 💯 You have to try it for yourself and thank me later.

Great Upper Class arrival and straight to the Club House All the staff were very attentive and especially Lisa who looked after us. Having used Emirates and BA lounge this was a return visit having not flown with Virgin for over 10 years. Keep doing what you do- great service.

Our second lunch before the end of pier show matinee & once again it was great. Most of the tables have a sea view. The service was attentive & both our starters & mains were great With some wine, one dessert & coffees the bill came to around £100 which these days is good value. Better value & better quality cooking than the White Horse at Brancaster Staithe. Allow a couple of hours for lunch and it sets you up well for the 2:30 matinee performance on the pier.

Excellent Experience the restaurant is modern and well laid out. The front of house staff were professional and welcoming. The food was delicious packed full of flavour and great seasonal choices worthy of the Michelin guide recommendation. A must visit. Hope to see you again when we return to Looe

Food took over an hour to arrive. Somehow the table that arrived later than us got their food first where we ordered the same item - seafood boil. The seafood boil finally arrived after waiting for an hour, and was crap. The seafood was bland, overcooked and not fresh, and for the brown crab you only get two claws in the boil. Also, none of the shrimps/prawns were deveined, which was disgusting. Definitely not worth the price and time, go somewhere else. Edit: The restaurant wasn't half full and we didn't have starters, neither did the other table, so no excuse. Need better management in the kitchen.

Firstly the good bit - the food is excellent- great red wine, oysters, Moules and frites. I enjoyed it. Well done the chef. Where the owners were let down. The disinterested staff. Told it was table service 25 minutes later I am still waiting. I go up to the bar to order with the same member of staff who told me table service! No apology. Charged me £4.50 service. Again went up & paid my own bill! My advice - whilst your staff were ‘business like’ maybe some training to lose the ‘I’m too good for this’ attitude? Don’t over promise and u see deliver re table service and on top of that don’t charge me service. You aren’t that special for what is an expensive meal.

The most refined fish and chips experience I’ve ever had! The food was exceptionally flavorful, served piping hot, and incredibly satisfying. Dining in the restaurant was a delight—it far exceeds the typical fish and chips establishment, offering a much more elevated experience. I will certainly be returning for what I can confidently say is the best fish and chips around!

We visited Stevenson’s Fish Bar in Sheringham after hearing it was one of the top-rated places for chips in the area, and while it mostly lived up to its reputation, there were a few bumps in the experience. To start, the shop is quite small, which can make it feel cramped on busy days, especially when you’re waiting for an order. Though the staff behind the counter were friendly and welcoming, we did have an unusually long wait. Unfortunately, it turned out our order had been overlooked, so several people who arrived after us received their food first. It wasn’t until we flagged this up that they realized the mistake. A simple ticket system could make this process smoother and help avoid any future mix-ups. Once our chips arrived, they were served piping hot, which was a big plus. The chips were well-cooked, with a satisfying crunch on the outside and fluffiness inside. Portion sizes were just right—not too skimpy and not overwhelmingly large. Overall, Stevenson’s Fish Bar offers a good product with a warm, friendly atmosphere, but a bit of improvement on the ordering system could make the experience more enjoyable.

Expensive.. spent £15.00 and definitely not worth the money. £7.50 for salt & pepper chicken bites that consisted of 6 small pieces of chicken in a tray a few small onions and little or no salt & pepper seasoning. Would be good to be able to add pics, you would see how poor it looked never mind tasted.
