Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Hillingdon

Great Upper Class arrival and straight to the Club House All the staff were very attentive and especially Lisa who looked after us. Having used Emirates and BA lounge this was a return visit having not flown with Virgin for over 10 years. Keep doing what you do- great service.

We loved our time in the clubhouse the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was it didn’t open early enough for our 8am flight! 6am is too late when you have to board at 7.10. We felt a bit rushed

I was given a tour of the Lounge after mentioning I had not visited since pre COVID. Most was as I expected. The Hair and Beauty Salon have long gone. Replaced by a Yoga and relaxation area. I liked the food & drink ordering via the QR code at each table. The service of drinks was very quick. There was also a deli bar where you could get meat, cheeses and ice-cream.  I thought the location of the reclined chairs with footstool were oddly placed next to the bar. I would have thought a quieter area would have been a better location.  The Lounge did get busy around mid-day.  I felt there were not enough toilets and I had to queue until one became available. I would still rate this Lounge better than the BA Lounge.

The lounge is 100% better than BA or Emirates. I like the fact you can order on the app and they will bring you it, rather than queuing all the time in the other lounges. Some lovely staff, didn't get their names but special shout out to Lisa who was very helpful to us. Hot breakfast wasn't hot and was lacking though pancakes were lovely. Toilets could have been cleaner to be honest. Nice garden upstairs, but was very busy elsewhere

What a great way to start a holiday. Lovely, friendly, accommodating staff. There was a great choice of food and drinks, they were easy to order to the table, arrived quickly and were tasty. Would live to visit again.

As ever the virgin lounge is a total treat and a great way to start off any flight. The virgin ground experience is far better than in the air! The service, the food and the bar is I think the best London has to offer.

This is an experience to behold. The staff treat you with amazing courtesy and friendliness. The food is excellent and the environment spacious and contemporary. A special thank you to Cherdale who was the most lovely, friendly and accommodating member of staff you could ever meet. She was so kind and attentive.

The Virgin Upper Class Clubhouse at Heathrow is pretty much as to be expected. It was clean and comfortable and provided a good view of the runways. We arrived just as it opened so there were not many people there at first but it did fill up more gradually over the few hours that we were waiting for our flight. The food and drink was especially good and the service the same. The bathrooms are marble and therefore provide the upper class atmosphere you would imagine! This being said, I can't rate the way that the flights were announced! It isn't very clear over the tannoy and the majority of the boards are slow to update and are behind the seating areas. We only heard the 'urgent' call for our flight at the last minute and for those from our party that were in the toilet it was even worse as they couldn't hear it at all!

We had our first visit to the lounge , and we were really impressed, more on that later. We just wished the lounge would open at 5am, for an 8am flight, as people have to leave home very early or risk being caught up with the stop oil idiots. We had to wait outside the lounge for 3/4 hour. ( and there wasn’t enough seats )!!!!! What’s the point in being fast tracked through the airport , and made to wait ??? Moving on from that, the lounge was impressive, not noisy like other lounges. The food was very good, the staff friendly and professional. Plenty of seating areas. We really enjoyed the lounge once we finally got in . Please consider opening sooner. Thank you

If you get to travel upper class then the clubhouse at T3 Heathrow is the most amazing place. Food is great and so are the drinks all orderable on the QR code The staff are absolutely fantastic and so friendly and joyful. Lucky enough to do this with air miles occasionallly and it’s always a fantastic experience

I can say the staff are so welcoming and the duty manager and the staff cannot do enough for you . I was travelling to JFK for my best friend's birthday . They got me trying cocktails old fashioned I love plus a norjoni thanks from making my 1st flying upper class something I will not forget . Will be back in UK 7th

The lounge was a peaceful haven while waited for VS to decide what time the LAX flight would depart - eventually 3 hours late. The room spacious and reasonably quiet with plenty of open seating - a nice change from so many North American lounges which are often shown crowded and seem to be run as a revenue generator. But the VS club has fallen behind compared to clubs in the Far East and a few of the high end credit card clubs. The food was reasonable, especially the novel picnic box, the drink selection was broad, and the service attitude of the young staff was of the highest

Lovely spacious lounge. Clean. Staff very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Nice way to relax after the stress of getting to airport and the check in.

This lounge is amazing. It’s enormous so it doesn’t feel busy at all. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Food and drink choices are fabulous. Definitely the way to start a fantastic holiday!

A real treat to visit and a reason to get to the airport even earlier than you need to. Menu is easily the best I’ve had in a business lounge and the cocktails are spot on.

Fantastic facility - best lounge I have been in by a long way - first time flying with Virgin. Lost a point because check in opened at 5am ( for a 8 am flight ) and the lounge doesn’t open, even without any service, until 6am. The flag carriers lounge was open.

Loved every minute of our time in the clubhouse, staff couldn't do enough for you and you could order through them or the qr codes on the table. Drinks excellent, food excellent and we almost wished our flight was delayed so we could spend longer there!

Virgin still have the best lounges! Warm welcomes all around, fab breakfast. You can sit in a chill zone, or somewhere louder if you want. Visit the ‘garden’ on the roof. But - please bring back the spa!

Probably the best lounge at Heathrow. A totally different experience to the other flag carrier, staff are friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. Food is great and to order as well as cocktails. The “garden” is a really nice touch. The only negative is that it used to be better. Gone is the massage spa, the hairdresser and even the child play area. Presumably to deal with the increased passengers with the Delta partnership. It used to be a destination in itself, now it’s great but “just” a very competent lounge with nice staff.

Certainly spoils you once you have experienced this! Starting with the private pull-in for your taxi, staff seamlessly offload your luggage and a few steps and you are at check in. Then the private security line, arriving in the clubhouse literally minutes after you have got out of the taxi. A la carte breakfast, bucks fizz and ample space to relax make for the perfect way to start your holiday.

I knocked a star off because whilst its a decent space, attentive service and good quality food and drink, i find it baffling that we had an 8am flight that boarded just after 7am and this place doesnt open till 6am. Come on virgin, if you have early flights, its common courtesy to afford a reasonable lounge time!!

This was a rare treat prior to our flight to India. It is like walking into a different world! More a five star hotel feel. There are so many different seating/lounging areas depending on needs. We had a night flight so chose to have a drink and snacks. The staff are excellent! Chatty and accommodating. The champagne and food delicious. Facilities as you would expect, luxurious! We thought about our last Virgin trip when our flight was delayed and we were sitting in a grotty bar! Queuing for a grotty toilet! This place would be a pleasure to be delayed in but of course we were on time!

This the best airport lounge at Heathrow ( including Concorde BA which we have visited many times ~ see my previous reviews ) Everything: food, service, ambience all outstanding. Special mention to the lovely Tina who we have known for several years and is a total credit to Virgin! And who starred in the visit by James Corden on TV and YouTube.

It has never been the same since the Pandemic, but that said the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The food is good and there is free drink. It is a lovely place to relax pre-flight, there are lots of different types of seats, there are even those that look like beds. There are also lots of charging point for all sorts of plugs. With all the work going on in Terminal 3, it seems a trek to get there, but it is worth the trip.

Jake was such a good server he kept us laughing the whole time even with my very peculiar requests. Lisa is also the nicest lady I have ever met and I wish she could adopt me.

The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The food's good. Free newspapers and drink, if the latter is what floats your boat. Unfortunately the lift is currently (Feb 2024) not working so you have to drag through T3 to find the place. It looks a bit tired, if I'm honest. Worn flooring, could do with a lick of paint and a refresh. The lovely staff are what saves it.

The Virgin Clubhouse is first rate I have not been here for some time (I usually fly emirates first) but the staff at this club lounge are absolutely amazing. They are so professional and very attentive, but also friendly and humorous. Everybody at Virgin can be really proud of the service which is delivered in this lounge.

During my recent visit to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, I had an absolutely delightful experience that went beyond my expectations. A significant highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Maryka, the mixologist. Her personable and kind demeanor added a special touch to the already wonderful atmosphere. Maryka crafted some truly unique and delicious drinks, including a special creation she has entered into an internal contest for Virgin Atlantic's upcoming anniversary. The creativity and taste of her drinks were outstanding, and I sincerely hope she wins! I also want to extend my appreciation to Ben and Anna, who were equally impressive in their roles. The teamwork and camaraderie among the staff were evident and contributed greatly to the welcoming environment. The culinary experience was top-notch, with the grilled salmon being a standout dish – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Additionally, the shower facilities deserve a special mention for their immaculate cleanliness. The high-quality soaps and soft towels provided a refreshing and rejuvenating break, especially appreciated during travel. Overall, my visit to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse was a memorable one, largely thanks to the fantastic staff and their attention to detail. It's these little touches that make a big difference in the travel experience. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining such high standards of service and quality.

From the moment we arrived at the Upper Class wing to getting seated in the lounge, it was the most incredible experience!! WOW! The staff in the lounge were exceptional!! They took the time to speak to us, gave us some restaurant tips for New York which was so appreciated. You can scan the QR code for the menu or they do offer you a proper menu and table service which is a lovely touch. The lounge is huge with so much going on. The food was wonderful too. We had a cooked breakfast and a pastry with a few glasses of champagne- delightful! The views over the runway were great and a visit to the rooftop garden area is a must! Thank you to all the staff here for making our experience so fantastic! To compare, we have used many lounges and recently the Emirates Lounge at Heathrow and this was by far the best experience!

What a lounge! Spacious and loads of seating, quiet away from a busking terminal below. Food and drink is excellent and served to the table once the app is scanned, chill out areas and fitness zone also available. Best lounge by far I’ve experienced.

This was our first trip to this lounge and it did not disappoint. From arriving at the checking desk in the upper class wing to arriving into the lounge we were well looked after as we would expect from the Virgin brand. The food was lovely, we were there a few hours and did try a few dishes. The signature cocktail was amazing. We just could not fault the lounge in any way. Can’t wait to fly again so we can experience the lounge again.

Visited 19th November for the first and not the last time hopefully. Prior to the Clubhouse we had arrived at the Upper Class Wing and were treated like royalty by the Virgin staff, once checked in we were guided to the Clubhouse where the amazing service continued. The Club House is so much bigger and Better than the BA lounge, food is ordered hot and brought promptly to your table, there is a small gym, showers and an outside viewing area overlooking T3 gates. I can’t speak highly enough of this location and especially its staff.

What a lounge! The lounge is very spacious with a variety of areas suitable for everyones needs. The lounge is very clean and tidy. You have the option to order food/drink with a staff member or via scanning the QR code on each table. The food is delicious, varied and cooked to perfection. There are so many drinks to choose from too. This is the perfect way to relax before a flight.

Outstanding lounge - probably the best we’ve visited yet. Fly from Heathrow 3/4 times a year and this lounge puts the others lounges to shame. 100% coming back - I think the other lounges should take note of how a lounge should be like

We flew Delta One from Heathrow to Seattle. Check was a breeze, easy security c l earance, short walk to the lounge. Wow! Spacious, clean, super comfortable seating, great food & drinks. Just use the QR code to order and everything delivered directly to you. A perfect way to relax before boarding for our 10hr flight.

IMy first ever experience with Virgin Clubhouse. It is an average lounge with lot of space. Can't compare with other major airline business lounges. The service is good. Food is above average. The rest rooms are OK. For Virgin standards, lot of opportunities to improve.
