The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Viajamos regularmente de Leicester a York para visitar a familiares. Originariamente vengo de Idle en Bradford y por eso conozco Town Gate Fisheries. Nos gusta tanto su pescado y patatas fritas que rompemos nuestro viaje deteniéndonos por pescado y patatas fritas cuando podemos. Está un poco lejos de nuestra ruta, pero vale la pena. Sus pescados y patatas fritas son tan buenos que no puedo recomendarlos lo suficiente.

Yet again another excellent visit for lunch. Great quick service, drinks and food. Would definitely return. Recommended for everyone

We had the oysters, chowder and crab platter! Beautiful seafood, lovely wine, great service. Perfect sunny alfresco lunch.

Food is always good chips not always some times very white and lots of ends but potatoes are up and down so not there fault to be fair but lately been 3 times now every time the don’t have haddock saying can’t get it hard to believe when other fish&chip shops have it so very strange so unfortunately will be using chip shop on North Shields fish quay has I can’t ever seam to get my order from willow very disappointed 😔

Personal amable pero pub necesita una renovación y limpieza. Moscas por todas partes. La comida está destinada a ser buena, pero no comió en mi visita, pero si yo fuera ellos deberían mirar el Beck and Call en Meanwood, dar al lugar un poco de un cambio de imagen y un exfoliante y si la comida es tan buena como se ve en las fotos será embestido

Worst fishcake ever. Tonight my husband ordered fishcake and chips twice. I have only ever had chips from this shop and they are generally good. Tonight we didnt want the expense of fish and chips so settled on a fishcake instead. I was surprised at the £16 cost to start with for 2 meals - never worth that. But the worst part was the fishcake which was a sloppy texture. There was a strong flavour of onion - other than that it was tasteless. The gloopy texture was unappetising so the dog ended up finishing them as neither of us could eat them. A waste of money and so disappointing.

Lovely chippy, portions may not be that biggest for some, but I felt it was fine for a small cod and chips with mushy peas, £11.

What can I say...it's simply the best. Large cod hangs over a serving platter and small chips would feed a family of four. Fish is fresh and flakes off. Batter superb. It's a must have if you visit the Isle of Wight. Not even expensive. 👍

Was recommended to here by the receptionist at the hotel. We both had the OAP special fish and chips. Served by a lovely, polite and efficient chap and the food was brilliant...probably the best fish and chips I've ever had and would definitely come here again if I'm in the area. Well worth chosing for your meal.
