A real traditional fish 'n chip shop. Freshly cooked to order, huge portions and the same price as the smaller portions sold on the sea front. Mushy peas were slightly watery, due to being warmed in a microwave. Friendly service from two gentlemen in their 60s. Real chips and huge tasty haddock. Slight grease issue with fish being placed on top of the chips. We ordered medium haddock and chips twice, large chips and small mushy peas. Total £25.50 Same order at North Beach fisheries (our preferred location but sadly closed due to the inclement weather) would have been the same price but with much smaller fish and more expensive peas.

Everything was flavourless the sausage needed cooking more the kebab meat greasy with no flavour at all an the chip were soggy best thing there was the salad put more effort in an put your prices down if gunna sell poor quality food

'Special' fish, chips & peas deal, good value. Restaurant is excellent when it's open, nice atmosphere & lovely staff.

We were made very welcome in front of the fire. We have a well behaved golden doodle dog who settled down and slept while we had tea gluten free burger and chips. Medium cod and scampi combo. They gave the chips from this to my husband as he loves extra chips. It is licensed It is small and the young man who served us was very sociable

Food tasted good but had to wait an extra 45 mins for delivery and all food was cold 🥶 I would order again as this was a first time experience just to see if thae same thing happens again gutted and didn’t enjoy eating it after waiting so long

We had passed by many times but decided to call in for an early evening meal. The Good - the menu is based on what is served in the adjoining Fish & Chip shop. The Bad - service was slow and the food was excessively greasy. The Ugly - the seats are uncomfortable, blue & pink flourescent lighting is a bit nausea inducing and the background music was not in the background but almost killed conversation. An interesting experience but I doubt we'll repeat it.

Personal muy grosero! Pedí una segunda bandeja en lugar de colocar la última porción de pescado con papas fritas encima del resto. La mujer que servía le puso la mirada sucia más repugnante. Luego procedió a observar vigilantemente como yo usaba la sal y el vinagre (me gusta mucho pero no sabía que había un límite) ! Todo mientras habla con otro miembro del personal en otro idioma. No estoy seguro de si ella estaba hablando de nosotros, pero se hicieron sentir muy incómodos. Me encanta gravelys, pero nunca volvería a usar este de nuevo y sin duda no recomendaría!

Total bruto mal cocinado y grasienta pattie probado salchicha química era blanco nunca más peor chippy que he estado en años

Went today for lunch with my daughters and grand daughters. Please ignore the bad reviews and give this place a go. We had lovely haddock and chips and everyone was in agreement that the food was great. The fish was very white and plentiful, cooked in a really crispy batter. The restaurant was pleasant although a little quiet and the two ladies running the restaurant were polite and friendly and the service was quick. I’m not going to ramble about cost as it’s certainly no more expensive then other places we’ve visited and nothing is cheap these days. Being of an age where I can remember proper fish and chips I can safely say that this place fits the bill of a fish n tatie from yesteryear whilst also maintaining the modern way that we dine these days. Will definitely return the next time we’re in the area. Big shout out to all the staff.

Excellent food and service, would highly recommend going. Served in a friendly atmosphere nothing was too much trouble.

Ordered from fish shop said delivered never got it never ordering from here again wouldn’t rate this shop I will be putting a complaint in in the morning

We ordered the giro mixed kebab that comes with chips salad and whatever sauces. Ffs it was the size of a baked potatoe and wrapped in tin foil ironicly. £8:50 let me repeat that £8:50. I could have eaten five and l’m not a big man. Total rip off. Infact i want that £8:50 back. Three bites and that was it. 7 chips? This place is ripping people off. If i could i would go back with lets say a brecks kebab for £7:50 impossible to eat so large. Avoid this place like the plague. Ive heard its under new managment but my god £8:50 for a handful! Looking at the weight of this terrible so called kebab you could eat at lalezzra restraunt cheaper high end food. I’m DISGUSTED AND I MEAN DISGUSTED.

Ordered food before starting My shift, it arrived, I thought great, only to open it, to find half the order was missing. But, it didn't matter, any way as the chips, patty were gross, the patty I couldn't eat, the chips cold and lardy. I'd already gone to work, when the rest arrived a hour and half later, which went in the bin. No way was I warming that rubbish up when I came home from work. You live and learn, I learnt I'd never order from here that's for certain
