'Special' fish, chips & peas deal, good value. Restaurant is excellent when it's open, nice atmosphere & lovely staff.

We were made very welcome in front of the fire. We have a well behaved golden doodle dog who settled down and slept while we had tea gluten free burger and chips. Medium cod and scampi combo. They gave the chips from this to my husband as he loves extra chips. It is licensed It is small and the young man who served us was very sociable

We had passed by many times but decided to call in for an early evening meal. The Good - the menu is based on what is served in the adjoining Fish & Chip shop. The Bad - service was slow and the food was excessively greasy. The Ugly - the seats are uncomfortable, blue & pink flourescent lighting is a bit nausea inducing and the background music was not in the background but almost killed conversation. An interesting experience but I doubt we'll repeat it.

We called today after watching 'The Curbs' video on YouTube last week about Holmfirth and his visit here. Unfortunately our chips were not lovely and brown, they were anemic, half of them were just hard crisps with no potato and inedible, the colder they got the chewier they became, but the Jackdaws obliged. The haddock we were served did not resemble anything like what James ('The Curb') received and was very average. The peas were decent and the Chinese curry was excellent.

Luego procedió a observar vigilantemente como yo usaba la sal y el vinagre (me gusta mucho pero no sabía que había un límite) ! Todo mientras habla con otro miembro del personal en otro idioma. No estoy seguro de si ella estaba hablando de nosotros, pero se hicieron sentir muy incómodos. Me encanta gravelys, pero nunca volvería a usar este de nuevo y sin duda no recomendaría!

You just lost customers! rude staff. £50 deliveroo order, when it finally arrived as we live outside of leeds, the kow soi curry was missing which is annoying when there's been a long wait and then the family sit down for tea. I phoned MY THAI to explain what had happened and the lady who answered said "what do you want me to do about" and "its deliveroo" as if its deliveroo's fault???? i said an apology would be nice for a start, worst customer service so i ended up hanging up. So after going to deliveroo they would only credit £10.50? my meal was £13.00 and i got a sticky rice £3.00 to go with it which is no use without the curry so im now out of pocket £5.50 for using MY THAI and have no tea, check all orders, its a shame as we are regulars to the restaurant and will now not be returning.

El café es parte de una tienda con descuento en lo que solía ser un molino. Hay un amplio aparcamiento gratuito y los precios de la comida y bebida son razonables. Los asientos son bastante básicos, pero sirven para su propósito. El café viene regular o grande. Grande es naturalmente más débil a menos que pague 70 p por una inyección extra. Entonces puedes conseguir una ganga en la tienda.

Discutir la comida pedida desde aquí conductor de entrega muy amable. La comida estaba discutiendo pescado era como comer chips de goma soso. Los dos nos fuimos. Fue tan malo. Incluso pusimos el pescado en el cuenco de los perros y no se lo comió.

Excellent food and service, would highly recommend going. Served in a friendly atmosphere nothing was too much trouble.

Went today for lunch with my daughters and grand daughters. Please ignore the bad reviews and give this place a go. We had lovely haddock and chips and everyone was in agreement that the food was great. The fish was very white and plentiful, cooked in a really crispy batter. The restaurant was pleasant although a little quiet and the two ladies running the restaurant were polite and friendly and the service was quick. I’m not going to ramble about cost as it’s certainly no more expensive then other places we’ve visited and nothing is cheap these days. Being of an age where I can remember proper fish and chips I can safely say that this place fits the bill of a fish n tatie from yesteryear whilst also maintaining the modern way that we dine these days. Will definitely return the next time we’re in the area. Big shout out to all the staff.

Ordered from fish shop said delivered never got it never ordering from here again wouldn’t rate this shop I will be putting a complaint in in the morning

We ordered the giro mixed kebab that comes with chips salad and whatever sauces. Ffs it was the size of a baked potatoe and wrapped in tin foil ironicly. £8:50 let me repeat that £8:50. I could have eaten five and l’m not a big man. Total rip off. Infact i want that £8:50 back. Three bites and that was it. 7 chips? This place is ripping people off. If i could i would go back with lets say a brecks kebab for £7:50 impossible to eat so large. Avoid this place like the plague. Ive heard its under new managment but my god £8:50 for a handful! Looking at the weight of this terrible so called kebab you could eat at lalezzra restraunt cheaper high end food. I’m DISGUSTED AND I MEAN DISGUSTED.

Ordered food before starting My shift, it arrived, I thought great, only to open it, to find half the order was missing. But, it didn't matter, any way as the chips, patty were gross, the patty I couldn't eat, the chips cold and lardy. I'd already gone to work, when the rest arrived a hour and half later, which went in the bin. No way was I warming that rubbish up when I came home from work. You live and learn, I learnt I'd never order from here that's for certain
