Ordered food before starting My shift, it arrived, I thought great, only to open it, to find half the order was missing. But, it didn't matter, any way as the chips, patty were gross, the patty I couldn't eat, the chips cold and lardy. I'd already gone to work, when the rest arrived a hour and half later, which went in the bin. No way was I warming that rubbish up when I came home from work. You live and learn, I learnt I'd never order from here that's for certain

I like the fish from here and it certainly is the better of the two take a ways selling the traditional dish on the Avenue. They even went out to the local frozen food shop to get some more Whitby Scampi as they had ran out. If the rating system allowed i would have it as good rather than average but it doesn't!

Friendly service, convenient fish and chip shop. Being a bit of a fish and chips connoisseur, it's fair to say, I have tasted better fried haddock and chips....

He vivido en la zona durante muchos años y este era mi local "fish and chips". Eso ha cambiado de manos varias veces a lo largo de los años y por desgracia bajo el último propietario la calidad ha bajado enormemente. En nuestra última visita, fui planeando conseguir salchichas con patatas fritas, pero tan pronto como vi las salchichas cambié mi mente; que había en ellos y parecía masa recocida. No muy apetecible. Decidimos ir por una empanada en su lugar pero me pareció pequeño y sin sabor con el bateador casi como de goma. Supongo que habían sido recooked varias veces durante el día. Es una pena que decir ya que esta ha sido mi favorito chippy muchos años pero yo no volveré de nuevo.

This is by far the WORST chippy I have ever been to. The below is a consistent analysis of three visits since March this year and each time it's the same - vile! Fish - overcooked Burger - dry Batter - just simply awful Chips - like bullets and coloured in by the DIRTY OLD OIL Pattie - rank Mushy peas - overcooked and cold Curry sauce - like water If you want decent fish and chips, do not go here! AVOID

Lovely fish and chips which I can't really argue about. Nice to pop in when in a rush. The pattie is outstanding.

One of the best fish&chips in Hull. Very friendly and careful staff. Good assortment, fast delivery. Delicious!
