Friendly staff the woman who served me was called Maddy, food was very good quality I had the battered sausage and chips the curry sauce is nice, staff are really chatty and would definitely come again, the price for food was reasonable and cheap but also good quality for what I got.

The signs were there. "Under new management " some while now since I did a review on Trip Advisor and normally I would make allowances for a new venture. However, £7.50 for Haddock and chips was served promptly but tomato sauce was brought to the table in a squashed bottle with less than a spoonful in it. I unscrewed the cap and gave it up . Half way through the meal I had to push it aside and turning to the server I said that I couldn't finish it. Wishing to be discreet I said quietly that there was a hair in the fish, not 1 but 4. I made to leave fully expecting at the very least an apology but no, the server continued her conversation with someone who'd seemingly just popped in, so I left .

A friend and I called here last Summer. I asked "I dont suppose you do glutenfree". To find out she did was amazing. Some of the best I've had and the batter was amazing, nice and crisp. I'm now living in the area and cant wait to be out of this isolation to go back for more

Tried this newish venture on the main drag ,Morley has a host of fish and chip shops so there’s plenty of competition . The fish was very nice , firm , thick with well done crunchy batter. BUT THE CHIPS !! Tasted like warm ups even though it was 1-30 , mixed chips with some hot , some cold , how they managed this I guess is by putting fresh chips on old gear . When back into the shop and told the young man and his reply was “ aye we’ve told the boss to bring us better chips “ He offered me some fresh chips that were in the pan , but by this time I’d eaten my fish and the wife didn’t want to try anymore . Money back would/should have been offered. Probably a good job as she brought them back up when we got home !! They also charge 25p for a scratty sachet of tomato sauce . Can’t see them lasting long in Morley when there’s Hillycroft, Nelson ,mermaid , ingles, to mention a few, out there who can show them how to cook chips and not be so tight , honestly how much does a catering gallon of sauce cost . Don’t like to see business fail but this place is doomed imho ☹️

Hot, well cooked, good portions, nice proper chunky chips, high street location with limited indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff - what more needs to be said? Apart from the fact that they do deep fried oreos, creme eggs, snickers etc - UGH!

This F&C shop recently opened, so I thought i'd give it a go and get a fish butty (sandwich). My order was two fish butties, and came to nine pounds. As we waited, we noticed they have a few tables indoors and outside, but didn't have any toilets. My Daughter asked if she could use the toilets, and the lady told us to go to the Market toilets opposite or Morrison's. Our fish butties duly arrived, and to be really truthful they looked well done on their appearance. The bread however was covered in a cheap margarine, as I wasn't offered without it. But straight away I and my Daughter could tell that the bread was past it's best, it was rather unappealing to say the least. There are signs around asking people not to feed the pidgeons, otherwise that's where it would have gone; bit of a waste as it went straight into the bins on the street. The fish on getting past the batter was watery, and looked 'rubbery' to say the least. I know the fault was glaringly obvious, they were cooking the fish in too high a temperature; hence the batter firm and inside watery. Hopefully the couple will realise their shortcomings, and put a little more thought into their product. A timer for one would probably help, and reducing the temperature by 10c and doing a few test fish. Let's see if they read this comment, and if I decide to go back in a few months, or if they answer the post. Till then, your product will remain poor in quality.

This fish and chip shop is a new addition to the main street in Morley. I called in one afternoon, on the recommendation of my hairdresser and I was not disappointed. The fish and chips were really tasty; crispy batter but they were big portions. It might be prudent to offer smaller portions perhaps for those of us who do not eat as much at one sitting. You can sit at a side counter, or outside if the weather is Ok; but I took mine home.

Was in Morley with some time to spare and needed some food and saw this new fish and chip shop had opened. Only had chips but they were very good and a great price and large portion. (A lot of the cafes around do very average chips that are more expensive) A few people got fish while we were there which also looked very good. Will come back next time we're around.

Is one of my favourite restaurant in Leeds. Food is delicious, inside decor of the restaurant is amazing, taking you to Thailand. My son loves it as well. Prices are okay, staff always helpful. Starters- fish cake is my favourite, all food is delicious.

This brunch was utterly terrible, so overpriced. The brunch cost £40 which is way more than any other bottomless brunch in leeds. The drinks were very weak and after having many of them can confidently say contained a trace of alcohol, the drinks weee also distasteful and not what you would expect after paying £40. Some of the staff were pleasant however some were very miserable parading around with a drooped look on their face. The music was so loud that you had to shout at anyone you wanted to speak to and the venue was tacky and cheap. Would not recommend.

I've been coming to this fish and chip shop for years. Since I was a young child and we used to visit the chemic pub. I'm heartbroken to say the least. It's a shame to see such a lovely little fish shop go down the toilet. I have just got fish and chips twice, battered sausage, 2 breadcakes and 2 cans of pop. I couldn't even eat all mine. The chips were black/brown and tasted like they had been re-fried from yesterday and not even cooked properly. The fish tasted like it was days old and had been re-fried possibly a few times. The batter (which had always been my favourite part of the fish) which wasn't really batter, it tasted worse than the breaded fish from asda. I will not be going back as this once thriving fish and chip shop is now a deserted one all since it was taken over by new management.
