WORST brunch drinks ever the coke was all flat no matter how many times they changed it. Felt sorry for the servers because it’s not their fault. Popcorn chicken and chips was nice and hot. Won’t be back because of the terrible drinks not worth nearly £40.

would not recommend. Received 3 drinks after paying £40 for brunch. Staff are rude and we’re not interested in serving us at all. I went up and asked as we had not been served for 30 minutes, I was told that bottomless had ended , this was 8.10pm when it was supposed to end at 8.30pm. Twice my friends drink was wrong. Lemonade tasted like sparking water. Coke tasted like tonic water. really disappointed and will not be returning.

Went to a bottomless ABBA. Service was slow for drinks on arrival, 20mins after the event started but quickly improved. The ABBA drag act were funny, entertaining & involved the crowd

We came here last Saturday and paid £40 to recieve 3 drinks order all 3 times something was wrong and on the last drinks order half of the drinks were missing but every other table seemed to be getting drinks and drinks? even when we went upto bar to ask for more, they told us we need to do it with our server but he came 3 times within an hour and a half. the food came out wrong, taken off of us and given to a new table without changing even though we had started touching it, when our actual food came it was still wrong and they didn’t have the best of attitudes to fix it. i’ve emailed them to sort it out and there’s 0 communication waste of money.

Worst bottomless brunch I've ever had. All the drinks were brought to the table in the same black plastic beakers, no one knew who's drink was who's and they didn't taste like they contained any alcohol. So in the end we all drank prosecco. No cocktails on the bottomless brunch!! The food portions wouldn't even fill a child, I had popcorn chicken and fries, only got 3 pieces of popcorn chicken!! Only good thing was the music. Would not recommend or ever return. Plenty more good places that do bottomless brunch. Advice... eat before you go!!

What a wonderful place. We went for brunch for my sister 40th. It was amazing. Fantastic atmosphere. The best tunes and lovely food. The service was fantastic. We loved our girl Megan. Nothing was too much. She was fab give the girl a pay rise lol 😆 all in all it was a brilliant expirence and we will 100% be back. Highly recommended 👌

Bottomless brunch is great. Staff are quick with drinks and welcoming. Good party atmosphere and a live DJ but not too loud to have a conversation. Food was lovely but slightly small.

The service was very poor indeed for a "bottomless brunch", the fact that it took half an hour for you to get your first drink was quite frankly awful....so take care to clarify this before you book to go here. I certainly will not be going again.

In December 2023 we held our office Christmas party at Playroom and i can confidently say that everyone who attended had a the best night! Aliko, the event manager, was amazing. From the first time we met back in summer, all the way to the very end of the event - so attentive and couldn't do enough for us, so thank you! Bar staff were also great, always friendly and so helpful. The food was 10/10 - quality and presentation wise, the best we've ever had at a Christmas party by far. Everyone enjoyed it, so much that some people went up for thirds! The DJ, sax player, and magician were all faultless. Super friendly and kept everyone entertained for the whole night. They worked around us the whole night and nothing was ever an issue for them. Overall, a night to remember. We plan to hold our 2024 Christmas party here too if the availability is there!! The music is so loud you can't hear yourself think. Lots of intoxicated people stumbling around having a great time. Staff were all friendly, even the giant doorman. Food was a bit naff but I ate it and enjoyed it. I wouldn't go back, but only because I'm too old for that kind of nonsense. If you are 20 to 30 then I highly recommend it. No doubt you will have a great time.

Myself and work colleagues came for a bottomless brunch for an early xmas party.our booking was 5 till 6.30,we didn't get seated and with our first drink until almost 5.20! Very slow and poor drinks choices. I asked for a proseco and it never arrived, food was actually nice although the portions were small for the price we paid. £35 is far too much to pay for what we received ,wouldn't recommend

Went with the girls and I had so much fun. The staff were so friendly and really fast with the drinks. I highly recommend it for a fun way to get absolutely smashed innot !!

Had the best bottomless dinner here! Our server ( can’t remember her name but had the best curly hair) was amazing and quick. Props to the chef the food was gorgeous. Had an issue with not liking our table but were quickly moved when we brought it up. Will be back :)

Lives up to the expectation of ‘Leeds Number 1 Brunch’. Food was 10/10, drinks were constantly flowing and our server Gabby was amazing, couldn’t have been any better. Already booked to come back :)

Horrendous service, got a free vodka on arrival which was just water. One girl (I didn’t get her name was very pretty with wavy hair and I tipped her £5 for trying to rectify the bad show of a service) we arrived at 3pm had to wait downstairs till our table was ready. Then got seated at a table away from everyone else. I specifically requested to move and luckily someone else hadn’t turned up So we had their table. Despite this we repeatedly ordered drinks and waited 43 minutes for our second drink. Food was small and cold. Good music but not worth the money would definitely recommend my local tooth and tiger brunch in Pontefract over this.

We came to the Back When Bottomless Brunch for a hen do and it was fantastic. They kept the drinks flowing, really looked after us and the music was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Didn’t let us in due to so called dress code which isn’t listed anywhere on any website at all. Manger had power trip not letting us in. After us then let someone in with Tracky bottoms.

Refused entry due to dress code. Manager basically told us he wouldn’t let us in after not being told dress code even from directly booking it via Instagram. I would save your money and go somewhere else.

Average place and way, way overpriced, ok it's Leeds city centre but £13.50 for a bog standard wine and £5 foe a small bottle of beer. No, never again. Probably won't last long anyway, too much superior competition on the doorstep.

To summarise, it's ok. The drinks in my opinion, weren't good. Warm rum punch with no ice, desperados with no limes (although to be fair I got given lime cordial). Prosecco was on the cheap side - but to be expected given its a bottomless brunch. I'm usually a gin drinker but as it was Gordon's, I decided to swerve that. The food was good. A lot nicer than I was expecting. The only downside is that there was absolutely not enough. A quarter/ fifth of a small corn on the cob, a small slider, chicken kebab and a small basket of chips. My sister is a veggie, she didn't like hers so her other veggie friend finished hers. The upstairs area is ok when everyone is sat down. Once everyone gets up dancing, it's a bit chaotic and must be horrific for the staff to serve. Toilets were small and cramped, no toilet roll or ventilation. I would also add the service was good - drinks kept flowing and the servers were friendly. Downstairs is dingy and cramped. The toilets are worse down here and absolutely stank. Stood at the bar for about twenty minutes and still hadn't been served so walked away. They only had two bar staff and with everyone coming down from the brunch, there needed to be more to keep up with the orders. If you don't mind a lower end brunch, I'd say this is ok but if you want somewhere a bit classier, have a look around.

Booked for my sons 18th birthday celebration months ago rang today to ask about dress code and double check what was acceptable only to be turned away when we got there ,ruined my sons night arrogant general manager and bouncers will never go again or recommend anyone to go either ,there was loads of places we could’ve booked but my son loves Tom zanetti so wanted to go to playroom absolute shambles of a night ruined my sons birthday 🤬🤬

The staff was lovely, the package we got was unlimited drinks and a dinner in the space of 90 minutes, but after 30 minutes the food came out and after we fished with the food we just got brushed off when We asked for more drinks. The food was lovely, very rich in flavour.

24 of us were booked to go here for joint 40th birthday celebrations this Saturday, we had booked a private room and bottomless brunch package. 5 days before, the lead booker received an email saying they would have to move our booking due to an external organiser coming in and they have had to accommodate them. They offered 1pm or 3pm as alternative times, we couldn't accept this as we have activities booked prior to the brunch. Imagine the stress this has caused for then have to cancel the booking and find somewhere that could fit our party size on a Saturday! The booking was made well in advance and to be let down like this is disgusting and the cheek of offering free shots as a token of goodwill is just a slap in face ! If your thinking of booking here make sure you have a plan b. Based on our experience I would not recommend!

My friend had a brunch booked for her a birthday, a group of boys and girls. We turned up to playroom and the bouncers on the door would not let any of the boys into the venue as they were not dressed ‘appropriately’, even though they had polo shirts and jeans on. Funnily enough every other bar in town let us in after this, even the ones with strict dress codes. We then asked if the girls in the group could do the brunch without the boys, to which the man on the door proceeded to tell us that they had ‘double booked’ us and had no table available for us to do brunch, even though we had paid deposits and when walking into the venue before the boys and stating to the lady on the door that we had a booking for brunch she let us in. The problem regarding being double booked only arose once they decided not to let the boys in. Coincide? I think not. The staff on the door including the owners of the bar were really rude and unhelpful, they just turned their noses up at us. They offered us to use our deposits for 1 drink each when the drinks cost more than £10 and also said we can book the brunch for another time instead. Why would we want to book again and give these people our custom after the experience we just had? Would not recommend to anyone, there are far better places in town to do brunch with nicer staff.

Beautiful venue, music great ! The brunch needs to be organized a bit better, there wasn’t enough room in the booths for the amount of people in our party. Three guests didn’t get there first drink till 19.35 after asking on multiple occasions. The poor staff seemed run off there feet. One of our guests got pulled over his trainers when we arrived. He got let in but got told he had to leave as soon as the brunch was over. If they want to stick to a dress code I would say a Leeds United shirt wasn’t dress to impress but there was a gentleman dancing about the place in one ! If your making rules then they should apply to everyone. We had a good night but it could of been a bit better! Room for improvement!

My friends and I went for a Cirque Du Brunch last weekend, the menu was limited however the food we received was really tasty & a fair portion. The salt and pepper chicken in particular was amazing! I'd seen on here people complaining that you had to pick one drink and stick to it, this wasn't the case for us and we were free to order whatever we wanted each time. I must say though that the drinks were very weak, however we were being served so frequently that I still feel we got our money's worth. One of my friends was late due to delayed trains, and they gave her a double drink to help her catch up to us which was nice - they were under no obligation to do something like that! They would replace your drinks when the last one was less than half full, and we didn't go without a drink for the full 90 mins which was a sign of a good bottomless brunch. The DJ played so many good songs, 90s/00's/10's girls night out type music, loud enough to enjoy a sing/dance but not too loud you couldn't hear each other. The 'show' wasn't really a show, they handed out red napkins to everyone near the end of the brunch and has us dance around. My friends and I didn't mind this so much as we'd had a few drinks and it was a bit of fun! Overall it was an enjoyable experience that I would definitely pay for again!

Sunday dinner was pitiful. Aunt bessies yorkshire puddings, frozen roasties. Only comes with 1 pot of veg between 5 and same for cauliflower cheese. Had to go somewhere else after for a snack because we were still hungry. Also couldn't hear a word anyone said because some singer was on at 500 decibels

Definitely wouldn’t return for the bottomless brunch again. Was not stipulated at any point that once you pick a spirit you have to stick to the same one throughout, it took us complaining to get around this and speaking to other tables they had the same problem. Drinks were served in tall glasses so you couldn’t taste the alcohol, and even when we requested smaller glasses it wasn’t much better. The “cirque” brunch name gives the impression there will be some entertainment but there was none, other than giving us napkins to swing around for 5 minutes before we left. Positive was that the food was nice, however the options were very limited. The waitress we initially got I think was new as we saw what looked to be her complaining that we evidently weren’t happy and our waitress was then swapped, although all the staff we dealt with were nice and polite. I also requested some birthday balloons (and offered to pay a fee) but was told they would arrange it for free, the table had no decorations on when we arrived and weren’t put down until about 15 minutes after our arrival, which was a shame. 3 stars for the food & staff as I believe they knew it wasn’t a great brunch compared to others available in Leeds, but not their fault.

Honestly it pains me to write a bad review, but we are. Firstly we were promised free flowing drinks. But it transpires we had to stick to one drink. Couldn't order anything different than our first choice. How disappointing (can you imagine going to the bar and not having a choice?). These drinks were so weak I could just taste the mixer. Also, only lemonade or coke offered. Secondly, food was limited but okay. Except my chicken was raw in places but I enjoyed the chips (credit where credit is due). The biggest issue was that we chose playroom for brunch and a show, cirque du brunch! We could have chosen anywhere else but it sounded different and interesting. There was no show. Embarrassingly they gave us a napkin and made us dance around to make our own show. No entertainers at all. It was cringe. I've never felt so ripped off. Please save your dignity and go to one of the many other great brunches on offer in this great city.

Cirque du brunch - do not bother. The advert for this is a huge misrepresentation! The drinks, food and ‘show’ are nothing like what is advertised. The food is ok but the menu is hugely limited. You have to pay extra if you want tonic with your gin and you have to pick a drink and stick to it - no swapping or changing your drink! If you think this is a brunch where you get Prosecco on tap then order your drink of choice think again!! We were often left without a drink and had to approach the bar after 15 mins to find out where our drinks were. The drinks we did receive were weak and the rum and Coke’s where 98% rola cola. The show consisted of them handing out napkins for us to wave around in the air, fine ish if we were drunk but the watered down drinks ensured that wasn’t the case. The waitress couldn’t crack a smile. All in all a terrible waste of money, DO NOT BOTHER!!!

We wanted to try playroom due to its advertisement of a show which looked amazing. We arrived to find the menu had changed to what was advertised and that we could only order one type of drink again it didnt state this online or on the menu on the day. You also had to pay for tonic with gin strange when its the mixer to go with the spirit. Food was ok. Then came the show which wasnt a show at all just customers swinging a napkin above their heads. I would like to point out that the Dj was excellent and the staff were helpful but overall there are far better brunchs elsewhere in leeds and they didnt provide what was advertise.

I would give it 0 stars. We went there for a few drinks. The place was dead the music was weird. Since there were about 20 of us (and nobody else) requested the DJ to play some nice upbeat music. The DJ was rude & racist. Never going back again.

Organised my friends hen party here for 22 people the staff was absolutely fabulous had a great night, the only fault I could fine was that you had to go downstairs for drinks if you did not have a tab ….. which is extremely hard with large parties. Maybe for future you might consider letting people use the upstairs bar and pay their and then

My daughter attended a 13th Birthday party here and had the best time ever! Thank you so much to the wonderful security at this venue (Michael) for ensuring my daughter and her friend were safe until I arrived to collect them. My daughter told me the wrong time by half an hour and Michael waited with them after he’d already finished work to make sure they were picked up safely. Much appreciated!

Security guard with long dreadlocks really bad attitude. Very rude to my friend for no reason at all. He even said “I’ll be rude to who I want here what are you going to do about it” to a girl. Really brought the VIP feel down. Clearly either a bully, too many steroids, very insecure or a tiny mid region.

I organized a daytime meal on Saturday for my sisters 40th. The staff who sorted this for me were very helpful. We were seated in a lovely large booth surrounded by such a great vibe! The restaurant/bar itself is delightfully done out, and we were very comfortable. Cocktails & small plates were exceptionally perfect! And when the bill came we were surprised with how reasonable it was! Staff again, were very welcoming & all in all, I HIGHLY recommend Playroom. Actually can’t wait to visit again 🙌🤩
