The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Poor quality over priced extremely slow takeaway. Consistently messing up orders. Waited 25 minutes for my order because the staff forgot to put items in the fryer.. just inept.

Absolutely disgusting 28pound for 2 mixed kababs sent me pizza base instead of a nan bread went in bin only got kabab meat and a few bits chicken kabab meat food was cold never ordering there again

Thought the door was locked it was stuck (should have heeded the warning). Struggled to be understood by the person taking the order. Finally received it and took it home. Special fried rice and chips. Opened it and put it on a plate. Sat down and put a piece of pork in my mouth.URGH a bitter sour taste and so I spat it out. Gave it a sniff and it was definitely past it's sell by date. Will certainly not be returning or recommending.

The fish was luke-warm, dry and rubbery. The chips were cold, crunchy and rock hard; more than half of them were inedible and ended up in the bin. Marklews used to be a brilliant takeaway but nowaday it falls far short of what is acceptable - at least in my opinion. To spend that kind kind of money for food of such poor quality - is an insult. I visited a few months ago and had exactly the same experience, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and (foolishly!) visited again. There won't be another time unless things improve drastically on their part.

Visited here as a family and the food was not great. Could you see what we were likely getting as no food in the counter, when it arrived, batter was soggy but overcooked, chips we’re okay, but loads of sharp scraggy bits included, pretty pale. Peas were cold, and not very nice, all of it smelled like dirty/unclean oil. Won’t be going back when we visit again, and if you’re thinking of going here, keep walking into the town for an alternative

Called other day First appearance Scruffy stuff all other and a group of males were very loud & there language wasn't pleasant, staff weren't bothered and didn't say anything to them made me thing twice on ordering as we where going to eat in. Place needs shutting down pigeons flying inside dirty place. Poor lad who works there always alone rushed off his feet never anything is cooked you have to wait . Was smashing when he used to have the restaurant on Eldon street.
