Absolutely wonderful fish restaurant. Delicious, fresh fish - the smoked prawns & aioli, plaice with veloute of asparagus were sensational. And the raspberry pavlova was the icing on the cake. Wonderfully friendly staff & a great view of the beach whilst enjoying the evening sun. Make sure you don't leave Margate before you have eaten at Dory's!

Garling fish bar has been completely refurbished, including new fryers and have a new menu that now includes both gluten-free and vegan options. We tried the gluten-free cod and chips. The portion sizes were huge, and the batter on the cod was so light and crispy and tasted amazing. The staff there were really nice. The food and the customer service was excellent, and I would highly recommend this chip shop.

My Birthday lunch exceeded all expectations, having firstly been greeted with a complimentary glass of fizz! The food was exceptional, the service was excellent & our requests were met with no fuss by our most attentive waiter. Whatās not to likeā¦ā¦

Ordered a pancake roll and chips from Holly Lane Chip Shop, totaling £11. The presentation was appealing, though there was a noticeable fishy aroma, which was unexpected since no fish was ordered. Taste-wise, the pancake roll was delightful. The chips, while flavorful, could have benefited from a crispier texture and perhaps being cooked in dripping for that traditional touch. The lingering fishy smell was a bit off-putting, especially given the absence of fish in the order. Overall, I'd rate the meal a generous 7 out of 10. The free delivery on orders over £10 was a nice perk and added value to the experience. Despite some minor drawbacks, I would consider ordering again and would recommend it to others seeking a satisfying takeaway.

We were excited to try the food here because of the extensive vegan options. The battered sausage was really nice! However, the rest of the food unfortunately was quite bland, especially the chips even after I loaded them with salt and vinegar. The battered banana blossom didnāt really taste like much. And the portions were sickeningly largeāwe couldnāt finish one portion between the two of us. Appreciate the variety though!

This pub overlooking the harbour has a nice atmosphere. There wasn't much of a crowd on a Tuesday afternoon in early June. There are the usual drinks you'd expect for a pub- ale, gins etc. and non-alcoholic options too (J20, 0% cider etc). A J20 was £3, so the kind of money you'd probably expect to pay. There was a board outside showing when bands would be playing live music in the evening during the week. The toilets are decorated in line with the theme of the pub. There's a pool table at the back. I was in Broadstairs because I went to the Kent School of English š“ó §ó ¢ó „ó ®ó §ó æ with my school. On the first day, during our break, we looked for something to eat and found The Fish Inn. We thought it was great that they had a special menu for KSE students, where things were cheaper š·. I ordered some chips and chicken nuggets. It was delicious š. The fries were perfectly bakedācrunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were really well-seasoned and tasted great. The chicken nuggets were also very tasty and had a crunchy coating. The next day, some friends and I went there again to eat. This time, I got fries and a burger. It was (again) very delicious and tasty š¤¤. After that, I went there four of five more times for lunch. On the last day, we ate there again,I had a burger š, and we talked to a guy who worked there (I guess he was the owner). Shortly before we left, he gave each of us a can of soda as a gift (there were three of us that day). So, all in all, Iād say that the staff is very friendly, the food is great, and the service is fast and efficient. In one word: PERFECT š¤©!!! If I ever come back to Broadstairs, Iāll definitely eat there again because I loved it so much. And I think that will happen because: Man sieht sich immer zweimal im Leben! (A German expressionā"You always meet twice in life!")

Was absolutely awful!! Disgusting to see a saveloy thrown in the microwave, by someone with go gloves on, saveloy wasnāt wrapped in anything. This same person kept opening the microwave door touching it with his bare hands and not even washing his hands after touching change! Itās disgusting! How can somewhere with a 5 star hygiene rating, have standards like this. Will not be returning!

Both had the fish and chips though I had the large and buttered rolls, the rolls are prepaired wrapped and buttered lovely and soft and fresh. The fish and batter was excellent. some of the best we've had. The chips were well cooked if a little oily and could be more crispy however they were golden and tasty. All freshly cooked, and well presented. We ate in and plenty of tables available all nice and clear inside.
