Came in to order take away for family dinner. Shared chips amongest us, making it a lot cheaper, as portions are really big. Great portion sizes and everyone really enjoyed it. Even had a huge salad bar, which I hadn't seen before. So options for everyone. Thank you for a great meal at great value 🌞

Unlike most of the time with KFC, this food was very dry. The chips were overcooked. They were a very dark brown not very happy with the food at all. this is so not like KFC whether I’ll order from them again after this your guess is as good as mine

Amazing service, the fish was a bit too oily but very nice chips and mushy peas.

chips were just warm and batter wasn't cooked on plaice meaning the fish was wet and slimy. savaloys and haddock were good

The pea fritters are always delicious, curry sauce was very watery , normally it's much thicker and tastes nicer ... but overall I was happy with the chips,sausage and Burger . It's ashame that salt and vinegar is not added to the order . overall score is 7/10

Ordered at 8:04 delivery finally turnt up at 8:25 then part order was missing with took another 15mins to arrive by that time rest was cold. Waste of food most was thrown.

Food was over 2 hours late. Restaurant cleared order from just eat machine at 19.05 to make it look as tho I had received my order. Restaurant called twice and they where rude. I then had to collect my order myself.

Not only was it 45-60 minutes late but, for the 3rd time in a row something was missing. This time it was 2 Pickled Onions. Again, this is the 3rd time. I think I should be due a refund!!!!!!!

Great chips , slightly crispy,not soggy .Very nice pea fritter , lovely crispy batter and sausage in batter.... hot curry sauce , just had with a bottle of beer and watching the sun set over Margate ...Magic ✨

the cod was lovely however the chips were appalling didn't know chips could have so many different shades of brown and all shapes and sizes but very few that looked like a chip they were obviously left over from dinner time the pea fritter was very difficult to cut open so overall unhappy

My family have used Holly Lane for years, the chips and service are always to a high standard. Lovely staff and a great selection on the menu. You can order on the app and then collect when it’s ready. Great place!!

We had the food delivered and it was horrible. The battered sausages were beef instead of pork and were not very nice and the chips were undercooked and not brown or crispy as they should be. The fish was the only thing cooked properly and the only thing that didn’t go in the bin . Waste of money. Will never use them again.

My first time using Holly Lane chip shop , after a disappointing meal from another local chip shop. So I start with the chips , these were really really nice hot chips , slightly crispy but not soggy chips just how I like them , not oily and the oil used in my opinion was very fresh . The sausage in batter was nice and hot crispy not oily. The chicken and mushroom pie was Luke warm disappointing but it was edible. Curry sauce nice and hot spicy. overall 9/10 would highly recommend Holly Lane

The whole food was not cooked, the sausage pink in the middle. The chips was hard like it needed longer to be cooked and the fish was not cooked

Chips were ok today but not usual standard. Couldn’t put my finger on it but 3 out of 5 said chips weren’t great. All other sausage, burgers and pies were good.

I was pleasantly surprised at how big my cod was and tasted wonderful. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the chips ! I found them to be a bit too thick and slightly undercooked...which was a Shame as the cod was sooo nice.Portion size for the money was very good 👍 *I am pleased to say the chips are now very delicious 😋 and cooked to perfection! Well done Holly Lane chippy !! Full marks 👌 😋 as of end of May 2024 I can honestly say all is Great with Holly Lane Fish bar ! , all utterly delicious 😋

Ordered 2 hours ago and still no food or communication from them. I range them 40 mins ago and they said 10 minutes, still no food!

Superb piece of rock/ rig or the other 1/2 dozen names it goes by, luvly mushy peas, chips, had better, not hot when i got home, a 3 min drive. Very friendly people.

food was cold the chips had so many black bits all over them..chips tasted nasty. fish was tasty but for a large it was small, I will go back to using my usual chippy.

Food was not greasy, large portions for the price, cod very juicy and meaty, curry sauce tastes delicious but could do with being thicker as was very thin. But would still definitely return.

Open until 9.30 according to Google, closed at 8.20 when I got there. Thanks for that great experience.

Love this chippy the best one I've found chips are so fresh best when we walk back from the beach in the evening dog walks .

The Fish was totally covered in excess oil, so much so, one side was stuck to the wrapping and i couldn't even scrape it off and couldn't eat the rest of it even after sopping up oil with tissue paper, maybe taken straight from fryer to paper with no drain time is my guess. The rest was good/great and delivery was great. Concerned about ordering from here again as my dinner was spoilt by not being able to eat the main dish, the fish.
