Really fresh delicious cod & chips ! - fish so fresh and batter crispy. The regular fish was huge! Great service and a cup of tea to enjoy . We didn’t eat in as we sat in our car looking out to the bay. I would thoroughly recommend this Fish & Chip shop ( you can dine in too) the staff were lovely. We don’t live in the area & were visiting Knott End - we would definitely return 🙌🏽🐟

We all really enjoyed our fish, chips and peas. I had curry sauce as well which was unique, and very flavourful (not the average gloop I’m used to!). Battered fish was fluffy, crispy and delicious. Chips cooked very nicely! All really fairly priced, and fish and chips combo even more better value! Good selection of canned drinks as well. Staff are really friendly, highly recommended! Nice friendly staff, the place is very clean inside and out got a place to sit in or take food away .fish were lovely chips a little dry but were okay nice curry but a little to less not enough all in all good chippy. I put a two star for atmosphere because no one in so I wouldn't know just one couple in the sit-in area.

Pisces Fish and Chips came highly recommended to me on The Chippy Tour. The exterior of the building is thoughtfully designed and inviting, while the interior is spacious, clean, and tidy. A modern glass screen separates the seating area and toilet facilities, adding a contemporary touch. The staff were polite, helpful, and well-presented, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the large haddock, which was served with the skin removed—a preference for many, though I enjoy it either way. The fish was thick and encased in a light, crispy, and flavourful batter. The large chips were served in a generous portion and were thick, crispy, and absolutely delicious. The large battered Irish sausage was excellent, with the crispy batter adhering perfectly. The mushy peas were rich and thick, with mostly whole, plump peas—a delightful texture. The curry sauce was a classic chip shop variety: not too watery, not too spicy, just right. The onion rings, while tasty, could have benefitted from the same crispy batter that adorned the sausage. All in all, a wonderful experience with just a minor tweak needed for perfection. Went in today ( 07/01/24 ) with a friend for something to eat and before we had finished our meals had the shock of seeing mice running around the place coming from the direction of the kitchens. Something of an health and safety issue I would think and a food standards red flag. Wonder if the same is happening in the other venues next door and across the road under the same ownership. Apparently the same issue happened earlier in the day and they obviously didn't think of closing until the problem was sorted.

On the spur of the moment, I called in for a fish in a barm. Amazing, freshly fried piece of fish in a barm cake. Superb value Will definitely return
