went with a freind to take home the chips looked been heated up and very soggy and very fatter at 4 pm think who cooks the contents and wants more training ]

Moved to Lincolnshire a while back and found this chip shop in the nearby village of Morton , A proper old style chippie ! The fish and the chips are cooked in Beef dripping and taste amazing , This chip shop concentrates on Fish and Chips with a few side lines like chicken bites and Scampi nothing else. First went here in Feb 2021 and have been returning once a week ever since .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Ordered a take out. All good until delivered... Chips, like card, seemed like they'd been sat for a long time. You know old hard chips, that have been cooked in dirty oil. Chicken fillet was more like a steak, hard texture, very floury taste to batter. Doner meat was like cardboard. Cheese burger was clearly frozen patty and was soggy to the point of sticking to the plate. Nuggets we're also soggy. Worst take away in a long time. I wouldn't normally go to this much effort, but it was honestly so bad I felt compelled to.

Absolutely shocking portion for the price. I ordered 2 chip cobs. At £3.70 each. The young split a scoop of chips between the cobs. Will definitely not go here again.

Ideal quick tea between train transfers, good portion sizes and nicely done fish 🐟

Really tasty, well cooked and not at all greasy. Best fish and ships by far. Nice people , friendly and helpful.

Used to go here all the time but it's gone downhill Had a piece of fish that was all sloppy/thick batter and as a result pretty gross. Mentioned it to the guys and they just said 'oh' and shouted out back 'not happy with batter' and then that was it Wont be back - there are better chippies in Stamford

Having been keen to see it open after flooding at Christmas it was such a shame that it took 40 minutes waiting for coffee. The sit wait to be asked what you want simply makes the process longer. To be able to use a machine to get a drink or help yourself to a snack would free up the many staff from running around. It’s been closed for repairs and renovations for 4 months. It is a shame that this was not used as an opportunity to improve processes and efficiency which would have made it a better experience. It’s like nothings changed.

I like the burgers there. The staff is very friendly aswell
