Sharricks Fish Bar in South Kesteven

Really tasty, well cooked and not at all greasy. Best fish and ships by far. Nice people , friendly and helpful.

After moving into the area, sharricks fish bar was recommended by quite a few friends. And man was I not disappointed 😍 the staff are so friendly and was glad of a little banter. Really cheered me up after a hard days unpacking. We had a few different meals to sample the menu. Everything was tasty and so fresh. Really cannot recommend enough. Felt very safe with the covid measures in place and very clean.

I've been using Sharricks for several years, it is convenient to where I live but also the food is great. Staff are always friendly and will cook to order if not ready. Good value and decent portion sizes. Great place to drop in.

Evertime I go here the chips are invariably pale white and soggy and as a special treat tonight I got treated to a sharp tongued brief on the COVID rules from the staff, which meant me and my son could not stand in the chippy together and look at what we wanted, one had to shout to the other from the door. Behave.......you are the closest chippy for a lot of people, but you're being overly officious and imposing rules that don't exist. Like a previous reviewer has already said most locals prefer to travel to Bottesford or Newark for customer service.....!

We are local but choose to drive to Bottesford for fish and chips because Sharricks is just not very nice. Gutted as it’s on our doorstep. Every now and then we go there in the hope the food has improved, but have always regretted it. Such a pity. Please improve and we’ll visit regularly.

Excellent fish and chips, superb portion sizes. Good value and always a lovely chat and good laugh while waiting.

The fish is always super fresh and fried to perfection. The chips are also nicely cooked and not greasy. The staff are friendly and the place is clean .....what more can you ask??.The downside is that you have to get there early because everthing is cleaned and closed at 9.00pm.

As well as the friendly service food is always good. I like that usually they cook the fish fresh, good curry sauce and pukka pies. I just wish they would stay open a little later than 8.30 but I guess they know their market

This small fast food bar serves mainly fish and chips, in small or large format. The preparing the food are nice, the meal was very good and the price cheap.
