Lovely people who work here, I'm not keen on the batter, it's just not crispy, I'll keep popping in to see if they change the recipe, good variety in the menu

Change your opening times. Ive just ordered cause it says on your website and on the internet you are open. Now im out £22 until it bounces back. Ridiculous!!!!!!

the wrap was hard and the donner meat was hard and teased like it was cooked the wrap feel apart in the package and the batter sausage was pink

Missed a few items from our order. Chicken nuggets were damp and pink inside. Chicken burger also pink, fell apart and had pus-like fluid in places. Large cod was tiny and more like one you would get from a kebab shop rather than a fish bar. Chips ok

Disappointed. Delivery was early however a meal was missing. We tried calling over 20 times (not an exaggeration) and the line was busy. The food wasn’t the usual great standard either.

The delivery was a little bit late only due to traffic, so my batter on the fish was a little bit soggy other than that great portions.

delivery was as it said it should be. the pie was hard and the fish didn't taste nice. unfortunately we didn't eat much of the food and was over all disappointed with the food.

Was missing the drinks, got a phone call promising me a refund and they would drop me the money around and it didn’t happen. Also the pizza had no flavour at all and was missing one of the toppings that we asked for.

Me and my so love this takeaway there's never any faults with it. only downside this time was that my sons drink was missing but we made up and shared mine. Will definitely be ordering again.

Food was late. Came luke warm if that. Nuggets are now breaded, tiny and overcooked. Fish was barely warm the batter was horrible and chewy and the fish smelt really bad. Pie was cold in the middle. Mozzarella sticks were rock hard. Really disappointed with the service and quality.

First time ordering from here, the fish was amazing and crispy perfect batter, unfortunately the chips weren’t so great, dry and not too nice and apparently the sausage (although very well wrapped) - like a Christmas present, was very cold. We would give them a go again just hope it’s better next time.

Wrapping the crispy fried fish in foil might be an effort to keep it warm but completely ruins the batter, turning back into a soggy gooey mess. Would not recommend!

The delivery was late however they sent compliment drinks for it, which was a nice touch. Food was packed very well, carefully but unfortunately the taste of it really disappointed. The butter on fish was way too soggy and oily, it was more a pancake rather than crisp butter. The chips were very dry. Unfortunately very disappointed and will not be coming back

Can honestly say this was the best kebab I've ever had. The taste, the quality, the portion was all fantastic. Order was only slightly late and a slushy was sent on the house, totally unexpected. Would absolutely recommend.

Delivery time kept getting delayed. Food delivered was lukewarm, and items were missing from the order. Only redeeming factor was the owner attempted to call and offered more food the following day, but was too late to be able to reorder from another place that evening.

This is seriously one of the best places to go to eat in the Grantham area. Amazing people running the restaurant, the delivery driver is wonderful and the food is amazing! We have ordered from them a few times and today they gave us free extra food and a free drink as well. They truly care about their customers and are very friendly and reliable.

The order we received was incorrect. The manager offered us a part refund. Over a week has passed and we've received nothing. Poor service and the food we did receive was below average. Will avoid at all costs in the future.

Food was a little late so they gave us a free Slush puppy which was lovely! Chips were lovely but the Donner meat was spicy and the battered burger was dripping in grease. apart from that everything else was great 😃

Customer service is consistently 10 OUT OF 10, they appreciate their customers and I appreciate their quality.

Always usually order from here but unfortunately this time it was really bad. The chips tasted and looked like they were old. Also the battered sausage was soggy. I ordered a bottle of drink which was a 1.5L bottle however instead I received 3 cans which doesn’t add up to the same amount. Really disappointing!!!

Great chippy. Has a pretty big selection of foods other than fish and chips. Never had a problem and probably ordered 20+ times.

Ordered from Just Eat - Unfortunately I was charged £5.50 for a dessert that never came, was told would be refunded but never happened... Very disappointing 😞

Very nice atmosphere Good staff and they are polite Fresh food and they always make sure that your order is correct. On my option I would recommend the chicken, burgers and even their slushies.

Food arrived 1hr half after ordered time and 10minutes after delivery slot advised. A free slush was thrown in as a sorry for the delays and the food was cooked very well and request from comments were carried out. Delivery man was very nice as well.Apart from delays this was a great order.

Delivery time altered after the order placed and then again whilst waiting. When food did arrive it was cold

Disappointed that the pitta bread was not sliced and toasted both sides with the kebab meat inside. These arrived as separate items with the pitta bread unsliced and only partially toasted on the outsides. The burger was requested in the notes with tomato, cucumber, lettuce and onions. No tomato or onion - 1 slice of cucumber only and very little lettuce. May I suggest if items listed in the notes are not available when the order is being accepted or no,t that the restaurant contact the customer to advise that the items are not available? This would give the customer the opportunity to revise the order or decline that order item. Hopefully this will help prevent disappointment to customers going forward.

Food was OK if a little cold but shocking price for the quantity of dessert I could have bought a family sized similar dessert from M&S for less money the same can be said for the salad £2.00 for a handful of lettuce 2 slices each of tomatoes and cucumber. I would buy main fried menu but nothing extra.

Absolutely delicious food we tried some different foods tonight as usually we get fish and chips. Tonight we tried chicken and chicken fillet burger 10/10. Although I did think salad and mayo would come on the burger but unfortunately didn't but will ask for that next time. Love the food here defo recommend.

Chips very thin and bitty - most likely frozen. Recommend using freshly thick cut chips using fresh potatoes. Fish nicely presented and cooked.

Never usually have a problem but tonight's ordered was missing the chips from my sons meal and also a can of coke which was disappointing so we just took chips from other meals to give to him. But other than that the food was good. Shame about the missing items

Ok been looking for in how opinion the best chip shop in grantham so when able to get a treat we trying them the food was mostly piping hot apart from savaloy really cold but still enjoyable sausage in batter not greesy at all very nice chips done nice not like some that hardly get cooked although for a large at the price feel should of been more fish haddock not to bad curry sauce ok had worse can't say this time its the best but still very nice very hot not greesy great friendly service also added little pots of salt vinegar very kind gest would we order again definitely only reason 1 star less for size large chips and cold savaloy other than that lovely hope my review helps did I mention great delivery friendly driver to thanks

Lovely food. Ordered fried chicken and chips. The food arrived on time and was very hot. Lots of meat on the chicken, and the chips cooked just how I like them. The last time we ordered from here, there was a delay, and so they sent a slush puppy at no extra cost. it was delicious. I definitely recommend Galaxy Fish Bar!

Ring the owner tonight at 6:35 . 23rd of August. Always go there on a Wednesday. Can’t believe they’ve got rid of the other people and the lovely young lady who served us every Wednesday night food was not cooked. The poor girls on their own tonight was not their fault, I put this down to the owners fault I will do my due course on how to report the situation, as I stated to him . Michelle white
