Amazing little village but loads of choice. Super friendly staff. Order ahead or cooked fresh while you wait. My personal fave is a halloumi salad pitta

Lovely restaurant with seating outside. Service was prompt and served by a nice waitress. The fish soup was very nice but not the sort of fish soup one gets in France but delicious nonetheless. The cod cheek was also very nice. I was a bit disappointed with the drinks menu. Cocktails would have been nice

Una experiencia diferente en esta barcaza amarrada en el canal. Un poco incómodo de llegar pero sin drama. Bienvenida amable del personal encantador. La comida era excelente - langoustines eran una sensación, seguido de una solla entera con cangrejo - muy bien cocinado y presentado. El ambiente es animado, siendo un lugar bastante pequeño y es una risa estar sentado a nivel del suelo mientras pasan los pies de la gente... Hay una mesa curva especial al final, que sería bueno para algunos amigos juntos. En resumen, una experiencia diferente con peces increíbles!

Definitely coming back, thank you so much for the lovley food and the brilliant hospitality. Service is 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ definitely want to come back to try different things on menu. So happy to see they serve coffee here too! Has toilets and close to Moor Market Car park too. ( If coming from the Moor, when u get to Sports Direct, at the crossing take a left.... Walk down towards Decathlon and the shop is just there)

Cod & chips, sorry but my cod had no skin and was very dry chips ok but I left most of them my wife said hers was ok, service was good, staff pleasant, maybe just an off day, but I had to review this £24 spend I’m back at our chalet starving.

Had double Sausage & Chips and was excellent, friendly service and really tasty, a great little eatery tucked away. Often they can disappoint but this one was spot on.

I always go to Zebranos for drinks after work. Oli the manager is the best! She’s super friendly, welcoming and is always up for a laugh! The drinks are affordable and you’re always guaranteed a good night in Zebranos

Nice place, great seafood. Sat at the counter and watched all the plates being prepared. Excellent seafood - especially the razor clams.

I would rate this establishment zero stars if possible. The staff exhibited a complete lack of empathy during a personal crisis. My mother was hospitalized abroad, necessitating urgent travel the following day. Amidst this turmoil, I attempted to order food but was uncertain if the Apple Pay transaction was successful. Consequently, my partner sought food elsewhere. At 9:40 PM, I received a call from a staff member informing me that my fish and chips were ready. Already having fish and chips at home, I was confused. While attempting to take an important call from the hospital regarding my mother, the staff member became increasingly rude, stating that our conversation was being recorded and that I would be charged regardless. This insensitivity during a critical moment was appalling. If retaining the £24 is worth more to them than customer compassion, I will certainly not return. The order day was 08.03.25 just in case if you still have my recording.

Best chippy around the area!!! Not had a bad fish and chip meal from here, really lovely friendly service and if you want to wait can have your fish cooked to order but there are never many in the holding cabinet so all recently fried. Really good portions. Decent prices too compared to some nowadays. Keep it up Hippie Haddock you're doing a great job 👍

So staying at the Palace Hotel Buxton for my birthday weekend was very shocked at the prices for an evening meal so googled food places near by. Fancied fish and chips with peas and gravey. Was the best I've had for 10 years! The gravey was proper the chips was beautiful not fatty greasy, the peas amazing and the fish was stunning all fish with batter rather than the opposite. Loverly family running it.

We visited as a family of four plus our dog and I have to say-for the first time in a long while I truly enjoyed fish this much! The fish and chips were incredibly tasty and freshly cooked to perfection. The place is dog friendly,which was a big plus for us-our pup even got a bowl of water,which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole family had a great time, and we left full and happy. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for quality food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Very good food We had the seafood platter with Cromer crab.excellelt food and drink. Champagne was lovely and refreshing Connor was very attentive .

Last visit wasn’t great, pleased to report much improved this time round. Special chow mein was really good, massive portion & plenty of meat / prawns. The spring rolls are massive & very good too.

A sign of a great chippy is that it’s always busy. Amazing fresh. Always tastes amazing. Couldn’t wish for better service or food. Chris is the best fryer around!
