Disgusting slimy chips, horrible batter that stuck to the paper, awful shop that needs redecorating and organisation. Don't waste your money here

Terrible portion sizes. Paid for a large cod and child and then cod was comprised of 1/3 of a typical cod fish & chip serving.

Third time we have been here over the past year, we stop by when we’re in the area. Staff are really friendly and it has a nice atmosphere about it. Food is good and service is friendly.

I know it is popular, but I can’t see the appeal. It is old fashioned in decor, menu choices and crockery and is very much a school canteen experience. The hot chocolate is watery. Queues were long. Tables are not cleaned, as you’re required to clean your own table and those that don’t are left there dirty. Above all, prices are expensive - £5 for hot drinks, £5 for cakes, £10 for a jacket potato and £16 for a meal.

Food is amazing, fresh and delicious! I recommend to everyone! The reason I come back to Skegness is this fabulous company and their excellent food 🥰🥰

It was closed and shop emptied of everything The shop was deserted and everything cleared out. It looked as though it wasn't: trading any more

La picadora sólida, el pescado sabía fresco y las picaduras de bacalao en particular fueron un gran éxito. Buenas porciones, entregadas rápidamente. Comería allí de nuevo.

This place does not practice safe hygiene. I watch one of two guys in there literally thumb a bogie out of his nostril while cash handling, and then proceed to handle food, removing two pieces of incredibly overcooked looking fish with his bare hands. I challenged this behaviour and was laughed at and told to go away. A woman behind the counter started insisting I ‘Go, go, go’ whilst pointing to the door. Visit a chippy that deserves your business. Not this one.

We called in one early evening for fish and chips whilst on holiday near Tenbury Wells. The fish was tasty and juicy and there were plenty of chips. Good price, too. We have already booked another holiday for next year so will probably call in here again.

First of all the food was ok. Just ok. However I don't think I have ever waited this long in a fish shop for food. I had to wait nearly ten minutes to be served and then another 20 to get my food. The staff were polite enough but they don't seem to do much.

The fish wash ok but the Chips were disgusting and has you can see by the photos your fish and chips do bot fit in the Box mmmm

All the food arrived cold So disappointed!!!!!!☹️ Review says 100 characters! Fish cold, chips cold, mushy peas cold, cod roe, cold, chips cold! Sort it out not acceptable I should have a refund, ordered a pizza instead and threw your food away!!

Passing through the village we decided to drop in for a light bite and drink before continuing our journey. Was greeted by the pleasant landlady and took our food order. Sat by the wood log burner (nice) . The sandwiches when served were very tasty and well presented. If passing thru do pop in and give them your custom.

Unfortunaltely the chicken was just not fit to eat, it was completely over cooked and 1 fillet barely the size of coke bottle lid Chips were ok
