Este fue un gran hallazgo, muy recomendable, personal amable y un buen servicio. A un precio razonable con porciones generosas, teníamos la cena en el menú. Sin duda volveremos si volvemos a Bath.

Vimos las reseñas y decidimos ir, compramos Large Cod, Haddock & Chips & Battered Mushrooms. Pescado rebozado ligero, patatas fritas crujientes todo muy sabroso, comida caliente justo lo que quieres de una comida para llevar. Buena comida de calidad, bien recomiendo y sin duda volvería cuando visitemos Bath de nuevo.

Acabo de pulir una cena para llevar de bacalao con papas fritas de mariscos en Combe Down. Fue absolutamente excelente: pescado suculento en masa ligera crujiente, patatas fritas crujientes y sabrosa salsa de curry. Muchas gracias, fue perfecto!

EL único pescado y patatas fritas que necesitas saber en el baño. Las patatas fritas eran perfectas, crujientes y suaves. El personal y el equipo detrás del mostrador parecía un chippy local adecuado. Muy amable. Vino súper rápido. También tienen un menú para llevar que es increíblemente barato si usted está buscando un bocadillo rápido. Comimos en y era mejor que cualquier restaurante en el que he estado. 10 / 10

Don’t know how this place isn’t 5*’s. Best fish and chips we’ve had in absolutely ages. Such a refreshingly genuine place! Beautifully simplistic, friendly staff and bottles of nice wine for 8£!! It’s like going back in time to the good things.

Found this place by accident while looking for somewhere to eat quickly in Bath. We both ordered the plaice and were disappointed when told they had run out. So we both ordered the cod instead. Didn't regret it at all. The cod was fresh and white, batter light and perfect. Chips again fresh and crunchy. Another disappointment was they run out of mushy peas, but it was the Bank holiday and it didn't put us off at all. Definitely visit again if visiting Bath,well worth it. One of the best fish and chips we've ever had.

Awful chips that tasted like they had been reheated from 10 hours before. Eating them was like eating stones. The oil they were cooked in tasted awful. Definitely won’t be back.

The fish was cooked perfectly - but the batter coating it was thick, very oily and spoilt the underlying fish. The chips were as limp as an old lettuce leaf and soggy. What more can I say. We ordered fish and chips and that is what we got. As for ambience - none. It’s been a long long time since I wrote a poor review. This place was deserving of it.

Please don't visit here if you expect good customer service. The chips were dreadful, dry, and horrible. My husband did enjoy his fish. Mine, unfortunately, was inedible. We won't be back.

Last time I gave 5 stars as the cod and chips were excellent. I went there tonight at 7.30 expecting the same and was immediately greeted with the comment "we've no fish" . I responded with an incredulous look and said what! a fish and chip shop with no fish? The response was "we close at eight" delivered in a manner that suggested I was he one being unreasonable expecting to choose what I wanted at that time of night!! I assume this is a policy to use up whatever other leftover food they have already cooked but really it left me floundering....

Spot on. Prices have risen but still well worth the money. Freshly cooked, excellent thin crispy batter and chips and fish had some taste to it as well, Really nice

We visited with my 3 autistic kids for a fish and chips dinner. Luke was brilliant and really made an effort to talk to my children and make them feel comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious. The only slight niggle was the dine in menu was significantly more expensive than the take away menu and I thought a tad overpriced. Other than that couldn’t fault it.

Food was lovely, and old lady serving was really kind. Although the younger women who served us our food had a horrific attitude towards us as customers and made us transfer our food from sit in to takeaway as wasn’t giving the opportunity to leave them open for takeaway. I think you need to ask your customers if they’d like them open or wrapped instead of assuming and then having terrible attitude when we ask.

A pleasant welcome and good choice of fish dishes. Food was delicious and welcome after a long day travelling. Sadly tables took a while to be cleared which resulted in a seagull jumping in for the leftovers!

Such a fabulous fish and chips! Absolutely lovley food quality, amazing service and was the best fish and chips I’ve eaten.

Literally just ordered from them within the last hour, got them home and ALL of the chips are completely raw on the inside. We're having to cook them in the oven which completely defeats the point. Wasted £6 plus waited for about 25 minutes for them after ordering. Seriously terrible, as a Bath local I would say do not eat here!! Will never recommend.

I have never been to the UK and wanted to try authentic fish and chips. My husband saw this establishment and decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a smile. Our order was immediately taken. While we were waiting, the owner/chef was easy to talk to. We talked about sports and who is our favorite team. Out lunch came rather quickly and it was very good. The fish was moist on the inside and the batter was light and crispy. The fries had such a good flavor- did not need to put ketchup. If you find yourself in Bath, UK - treat yourself and come to this place for some good ole fish and chips.

Excellent can't fault a thing. Cooked fresh to order. Batter thin crispy and tasty, fijh soft and white and again tasty and the chips were great too. Well worth the increased costs.

I bought takeaway. The fish was fresh, and the chips just how I like them. I really enjoyed my meal, and look forward to my next visit. Although I never understand people who don't complain in person, at the time if they are not happy with the product or service, and instead hide behind a screen and whine. We need to support our small businesses x

Did a job for lunch to take back to my hotel but nothing more or less than average fish and chips to be honest. Had better had worse so average it has to be.

I bought chips,they tasted so awful had to throw them away. The fat tasted foul and one chip was raw in middle. I'm never going back again.

We stopped here for dinner while in Bath and had an amazing meal. This is a little hole-in-the-all fish&chip shop, so adjust your expectations accordingly. We were greeted warmly and given menus. We sat at the outdoor tables (there is almost no seating inside as I remember) and the food came promptly. My husband, a Sheffield UK native, said it was the best first and chips he's had in 20+ years. I had the sausage and chips and that too was very good. The mushy peas were also excellent. I really don’t understand some of the 1 star reviews, as this place looks exactly like what it is and for the relatively cheap price, the food was hot and tasty. My husband kept talking about this place through our entire 2 week trip. I think he would have eaten here every night if he could have!

My wife and I popped in shortly after the restaurant opened for lunch on a Bank Holiday Thursday. A woman took our order for 2 x Lunch Time Specials, she was very nice. We sat inside and everything was given to us quickly and freshly cooked. We saw the man that also worked there, the chef I think and we had a quick chat. The Fish, Chips, proper Mushy Peas, Tartare, Bread & Butter and even the Tea was excellent!! All cooked superbly. The loo was spotless and I noticed lots more tables inside downstairs. We will be back ! We will be going again!

I would say that one should consider this more of a takeaway than a restaurant. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with their restaurant (mostly down some steep stairs), but I wouldn't be too keen on sitting at the tables in the counter service area...

I didn't expect much because of the cheap price but I have to say it's one of the worst fish and chips I've had in my life. You can taste bits of salt from here and there in the cod but overall it was oily and tasteless. I couldn't even finish it without adding lots of ketchup to it.

I admit to being quite surprised at reading some of the negative views on here to be honest. But l can only feedback on our today experience on our first visit. Staff were friendly and polite and the three meals we had were not overly expensive either. Okay we had to wait five minutes or so for the food to be cooked, but no big deal to be honest.Fish and chips, pie and chips and sausage and chips, and no one had to say about any of it.My fish and chips was the smallest size they did and it was more than enough a bad wor for me to be honest. But we all agreed that the chips were very tasty and fresh.Needless to say we will ve returning next time we are in Bath

The fish sold here is possibly the best in the South West,succulent and delicious. Chips good too, and prices fair. Highly recommended !

Food was almost inedible. Chips were greasy and tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Sausage in batter was under cooked and pink in the middle. Extremely expensive for what it was. Staff extremely rude and unfriendly. Have felt very unwell since eating here.

Mi esposo y yo, junto con amigos, fuimos a Bath a pasar un fin de semana. Decidimos llamar aquí para pescado y patatas fritas, lo sentimos. Mi esposo pagó 18. 20 por 2 pescado y patatas fritas, cuando fuimos a sentarnos en las mesas de la puerta nos dijeron que no podíamos porque estaban cerrando, luego preguntamos si estaba bien si podíamos sentarnos en la mesa y sillas que estaban afuera y Otra vez dije que no porque pagamos para llevarnos la comida. Cuando se le preguntó, la señora vino de detrás del mostrador y dijo que si quería sentarse tendría que pagar más porque el 28. 20 (por solo pescado y patatas fritas dos veces) era el precio para llevar y todavía no podíamos sentarnos de todos modos porque ahora estaban cerrados. Le preguntamos por qué no nos informó que estaban cerrando y no podría sentarse antes de que tomara nuestro dinero y luego se puso bastante grosera diciendo que estaba cerrando la tienda ahora, así que tendrá que irse. Terminamos sentados en un banco rodeados de gaviotas y su desorden comiendo papas fritas que estaban demasiado cocidas y un pescado muy grasoso que terminaron en la papelera al lado del banco. Una pérdida total de dinero por una mala comida servida por una señora con una actitud terrible, sin ningún servicio al cliente. No recomendaríamos este lugar en absoluto a menos que desee que alguien que sea simplemente grosero y no sepa qué es el servicio al cliente le cobre una cantidad ridícula de dinero por un mal pescado y papas fritas para llevar.

Aparte del precio astronómico 18 por 2 pequeños bacalao y patatas fritas, el servicio al cliente aquí fue terrible, la señora mayor que servía esperó hasta que se ordenó la comida y se tomó el dinero antes de informarnos que no podíamos sentarnos en las mesas afuera o adentro porque estaban cerrando. . Terminé caminando con una caja de comida grasienta hasta un banco sucio cercano rodeado de gaviotas para comer el pescado y papas fritas para llevar más caro de la historia. No había precauciones de Covid en el interior, ni desinfectante de manos y los meseros no llevaban máscaras. ¡Evita este lugar!

Gran lugar, muy por encima de las tiendas habituales de F&C. Patatas fritas excepcionales, frescas y bien cocidas. El pescado era de buen tamaño y excelente pasta. También probé el bistec y el pastel de riñón. Buen hojaldre, relleno húmedo y carnoso. Comida brillante.Lo que me traerá de vuelta fue el servicio. La joven fue educada y acogedora. La tienda estaba tranquila (solo nosotros), que es cuando a veces encuentras que el personal se aburre un poco y se distrae, pero ella fue muy acogedora y genuinamente amable.

Eating in Bath can be expensive, but we found this place to be a good stop for an inexpensive meal. We can't say that we are connoisseurs of fish & chips, but it was hot, crispy and tasted good.

Had a meal here. Jumbo cod and chips and fishcake and chips. Mum in law said fish was good and looked nice. My fishcake says made on premises but looked generic and grey. Not great tasting. Chips however were delicious. Very expensive . Probably won't visit again

Spending the weekend in Bath and the meal I was most looking forward to was fish and chips. Sadly, I chose this venue - big mistake. In fairness the cod was quite nice, the rest however was appalling - dried up lemon, a gravy boat full of the most awful mushy peas and as for the chips - inedible, hard and so obviously reheated leftovers.... the cost of this most awful meal for 2 - £29. When told about the poor quality the employee responded ‘ oh we must try to be better’ - not with our money you won’t! Want decent fish and chips - go elsewhere.

I bought haddock, chips and mushy peas today - £11.50. The chips were flabby; the fish was thin and grey and the batter thick and flabby under its crisp crust. I live in Bath and will never buy from Seafoods again.

We ate here recently and the fish was a generous size with plenty of taste and the chips were delicious, fresh and crisp. Beautiful. The staff were really friendly and hard working and I must give them a mention...Vicky, Anne and Nicky, the cook. Ian is a star too! Thank you for making our experience so good. We had been in before Christmas when there were some young lads working there and they were a disaster! The food wasn’t so good either. I’d definitely recommend a visit here.

Great food and excellent staff especially the young girl I think her name was holly she always brightens up my day when I go in to get my food she also says have a nice day or evening as she’s so polite. I think she needs a special reward for all her hard work

Came here today with my family, was lovely in the summer. It wasn't busy but we waited between 30/45 minutes for the food. Whilst waiting they weren't sure on our drinks order and gave my daughter a cartoon of apple juice with a best before may '19!When oyr food finally arrived mine was just about lukewarm if you wished hard,my daughters had been mostly knocked on the floor so they went off to make more, just as well as it was also cold and very greasy. However the replacement was even more greasy, took 3 napkins too sop up the oil on one cod bite let alone the other three. In fairness my son, Husbands and dads wasnt bad. However the service when we said we wouldn't pay for mine was atrocious! The female member of staff claimed she'd overheard us saying we'd ordered too much food and started getting aggressive and rude (we'd ordered a meal per person). Eventually the "chef" agreed that it would be taken off the bill, just as well as he'd already agreed it had been cooked way before the others! We won't be going back!!! Nowhere near worth the huge price tag and staff need to redress their attitudes drastically

This takeaway appears to have new staff compared to the last time I was here a year ago, so I’m guessing it’s under new management. The previous owners were quite miserable, but the food was good. I’ve now been here 3 times in the last 5 weeks, and the food isn’t quite as good...the chips especially are of a lower quality. However, the service was better for 2 of my visits. Todays visit was totally different...4 members of staff, no customers (except me), and I got totally ignored when I went to the counter to order...the younger man serving didn’t even acknowledge I was there! Very odd atmosphere. Think I’ll be giving the place a miss from now on.

The staff came across as rude and unhelpful and there was a bad atmosphere. Fish and chips for one was £9.10 which is expensive okay if the fish and chips were nice but they weren’t... they were swimming in grease- the actual meat part of the fish was really nice but the battered ruined it as it was so greasy it had no crispiness. Chips overcooked so that they were greasy and hard. Chips were the worst part! Wish I hadn’t have gone here! Waste of money and bad food! Won’t be coming back and would recommend eating elsewhere!

Mi esposa, mi nieta y yo visitamos aquí y fue excelente. Todo fue muy profesional. La comida fue servida a tiempo y estaba deliciosa. El pastel de carne hecho en casa fue maravilloso y mi hija lo disfrutó muchísimo. El restaurante en sí estaba impecable y estoy hablando de quirófano limpio al igual que los baños. El personal también fue muy educado y servicial. Me topé con este lugar por accidente y me alegro de haberlo hecho. Si alguna vez vuelvo a Blackpool definitivamente comeré aquí.

This fish and chip shop used to be really good.

We ordered two servings of fish and chips to take back to our hotel. The food was good and the server neatly packaged it with plastic cutlery, napkins, etc.

We had the lunch special and the food was cooked to order. The menu has some more unusual offerings too. Our cod was good quality and the batter was light and crispy.

This was the nicest fish and chips I’ve had for a long time. The cod was melt in the mouth and the chips perfect. The service from the three staff was professional and friendly. I highly recommend!

We happened upon this restaurant purely by chance, and we were so glad we went in. It was a Bank Holiday Saturday, just after the main rush so not many people in there, we decided to take the sit in option, rather than the outside seats which come from the takeaway menu, the sit in menu is slightly more expensive, and I am sure the increase in costs is due to the VAT restrictions. The lady who served us was very warm and welcoming, and had been serving at the takeaway, but stepped away to take our order, as the other waitress returned she left it her to serve the order. There was a mishap with the food which resulted in me being upgraded to jumbo sausages, and as we had to wait a little the gravy we had ordered was taken off the bill. And the gravy was fantastic, something rare to find in the South. If I go back to Bath, I will be going back to Seafoods!

Normally when I eat in at any restaurant I get to eat my food in peace and often get asked if the food is ok etc.. For a place claiming to be award winning, 'One of the Top five restaurants in the Southwest' no less, I struggled to see why it was awarded this accolade.

We took a lunch at Bath before visiting Roman Bath. The restaurant emphasises using sustainable oil for cooking which was an eye catching point to me as I keep looking healthy food. The food was tasty. The famous drink in Bath is Cider which cannot miss in the meal!

We couldn’t believe how awful the fish cakes were... gray, tasteless, coated in breadcrumbs. The chips weren’t fresh...just greasy. Tasteless mushy peas. A pile of dog poo by the outdoor tables. And £12.50 for a small cod & chips... avoid this place!, I do t usually post negative comments but this was awful!

Despite a rather nasty review about the food we found it very good and although the portions are plentiful were not stuffed. Everything was fresh cooked and hot on getting it home.

El Posh Fish and Chips (salmón) no fue algo que encontré antes, y estaba muy bien hecho y es algo que me encantaría que lo hicieran con mucha más frecuencia. No es lujoso, pero es muy bueno el Chip Shop básico.

Es la típica tienda de Fish&Chips;, aunque los precios son un poco caros para este tipo de comida. Relación calidad/precio, no muy buena. El comedor del sótano, aunque muy limpio, no era demasiado acogedor, lo suficiente para parar, comer e irte. No creo que volvamos, ya que nos clavaron 52£ por 3 platos de Fish&Chips; y 3 bebidas. Las patatas eran caseras, aunque no espectaculares, eran correctas. El pescado nada del otro mundo para ese precio. Por otro lado, el servicio fue muy amable. Lástima que no se esté más a gusto en el comedor.

THE place to go to in Bath for fish and chips!! A small walk away from town centre - 2 mins - a beautiful little square. So very welcoming and excellent food. Chef made us at home as did the lovely young lady who assisted. Highly recommended

It all seems to have gone off the boil here! Fish is still very good, crispy light batter, but the chips - that's another story! Over the last year they have really gone down hill. Terribly greasy and sometimes not cooked enough. What happened to lovely crispy chips that we always used to get in our fish & chip shops. A great pity for all the locals especially. Please cook your chips more!

Visting bath for work and was recommended this place for the fish and chips, I have to say the fish was great and the chips were ok but the staff were terribly and rude, not one of them sed please or thank you, they didn’t say that the prices were different for eating inside so I placed my order and sat down and was asked to leave, I even asked to pay the extra to sit down and they asked for £8:50 for the food and £3 extra for my carton of orange, I wouldn’t of minded but there wasn’t any one else in the shop and I had my hands full so had to make 3 trips to the bench out side and not one person went in the whole time I was eating, this is my first time I’ve written a review because I feel that it was that bad due to the staff attitude and rudeness, here’s some helpful tips to the staff

Bought 2 med cod and 2 small chips, we were waiting for over 20 mins for a less than satisfactory meal. At £17.20 for a takeaway that left us still feeling hungry we feel short changed and underwhelmed. We will never be visiting this place again.
