The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in City Centre Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

had previously given a good review as when we'd been before it was lovely but our last visit was disappointing. there was only a few people in and our food took forever even though we only ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic bread. the bread took so long we ended up asking for it to go.. eventually after an hour after finishing the pizza we had to leave as our parking was expiring.. we realised the garlic bread was sitting on the counter in a takeaway box but nobody had given it to us. wonder how long it sat there! proper weird a shame as pizzas used to be great but this time, it wasn't worth it at all :(

A great find! Lovely atmosphere, very smart, small enough to be cosy, subtle but very attentive service and delicious pizza. Would highly recommend. Are these the smartest ladies and gentlemen’s in town?!! Go there and judge for yourself!

Bought a cheese pizza from this place a few times, warm slices that taste delicious. Used to give leftovers of pizza to my friends and I a lot.

Qué lugar tan bonito. Amable, limpio, buena comida y si lo desea un BYOB de lunes a jueves. Definitivamente volveré

Oct 2022 - OMG yes I highly recommend this eatery. I think I ate dinner here 4+ times out of the week. The employees were friendly and attentive. I tried different items off the menu, but I must admit I always went back to the pizza. That dough and the way they hand make it were stupendous. They also offer gluten-free penne and spaghetti. Great location and the prices were reasonable, hence the multiple trips there. Oh oh they make their own beer, I had multiple Hopo Lagers. I believe they have 4 that they craft. Great choice for lunch or dinner. You can join their rewards program too and receive discounts, just mention it to the servers and they will adjust the bill.

Stingy is the word. I ordered deliveroo cheese burger with mayo and ketchup, burger didn't had any salad little mayo and little ketchup, fries same little mayo little ketchup . STINGY come on those ingredients aren't expensive and it's making you destroy your costumer service. Won't order again

Soy un poco parcial, ya que me encanta cerca y comer aquí con frecuencia. pero no hay mejor pizza en este lado de la ciudad (lo siento civerinos, todavía te quiero tho). morattis es el más cercano a la pizza familiar honesta que se puede conseguir y acomoda cualquier cosa que puedan. No puedo describir lo afortunados que somos también tener este lugar cerca de nuestra casa y entre nuestra casa y lugares de trabajo y tan cerca del casco antiguo de Edimburgo!

We were in Edinburgh for the Christmas holiday, 2024, and we did all sorts of tourist things and walked and walked and, yes, walked. Kilderkin was a fantastic spot to stop, eat delicious food, drink our weight, and experience a fun and welcoming place. We are from Denver and we will be back because of places like this -- with friendly, helpful, and welcoming people working the pub.

The food was served quickly and was cooked fresh. Owner said the pizza sauce is all home made and so is the kebab meat….which you could tell. Was delicious 😋

We'd walked past this PE several times during our trip to Edinburgh and it always looked pleasant and cosy. It's in a very convenient location in the Old Town although the area is sadly covered with scaffolding at the moment. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, perhaps half-full at best. Seating was pleasant despite the scaffolding, as it was evening anyway. Staff were very pleasant and the food was nice as you'd expect of PE. The whole experience was perhaps somewhat longer than it should have been, however - nearly 90 minutes for three courses. It's unclear whether this delay was about the kitchen or the staff, but the staff seemed busy constantly even though there were 4-5 of them at least. We weren't in a big rush but felt that more of our evening had been taken up by the meal that we might have wanted, and of course being PE it isn't especially cheap - around £120 - so more than twice what we might have paid for pizza in, say, a Wetherspoons for instance. But this is fine, I think though that perhaps an additional staff member would have been ideal.

Went to see the amazons last night, staff were all great. Very friendly and accommodating. Venue was clean with a nice vibe.

La familia se reúne el día de San Valentín. El lugar estaba lleno de gente. Callum nuestro camarero era de primera clase, pero corrió harapiento debido a la evidente falta de personal. ¡Vamos Gerencia, revisen sus rotaciones! El lugar parecía que necesitaba una limpieza profunda debido al gran volumen de clientes que deben pasar por sus puertas. Definitivamente no es la mejor comida, los ingredientes de pizza eran escasos y secos, la cocina simplemente no podía seguir el ritmo. La comida era mediocre. Lástima realmente, ya que mi familia son grandes fans de Pizza Express en general, pero este restaurante en particular está en urgente necesidad de una actualización y atención al detalle. Edimburgo tiene muchas mejores ofertas en la manga. Estrella de oro para Callum, aunque por su profesionalidad y fabuloso servicio al cliente, estaba muy tranquilo bajo una inmensa presión.
