The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Edinburgh and Lothian

had previously given a good review as when we'd been before it was lovely but our last visit was disappointing. there was only a few people in and our food took forever even though we only ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic bread. the bread took so long we ended up asking for it to go.. eventually after an hour after finishing the pizza we had to leave as our parking was expiring.. we realised the garlic bread was sitting on the counter in a takeaway box but nobody had given it to us. wonder how long it sat there! proper weird a shame as pizzas used to be great but this time, it wasn't worth it at all :(

Bought a cheese pizza from this place a few times, warm slices that taste delicious. Used to give leftovers of pizza to my friends and I a lot.

Popped in here for coffee, before a tennis session. Was greeted by smiles. And was served the most drinkable coffee I've had this year. Well balanced! Not too bitter and no funky or watery taste. I had this sitting outside, although wouldn't have minded having it inside the roomy cafe with a character of its own. Reminds me of the pre-covid Tchai Ovna in Glasgow. Will return.

Been going to go-gos basically since they opened and I wouldn’t go to anywhere else for my donner meat!! It’s always so good and the staff are all amazing and very friendly and lovely they all like to have a good chat and joke! Would highly recommend! :)

We found this little restaurant while wandering in Edinburgh and after reading the menu which was posted outside, decided to go in. We almost turned around. It is very small with crowded tables and it was cold inside. But we didn't leave and I am so glad we didn't. The waiter closed the door to keep the cold out and the food was absolutely amazing. As we like to do, we ordered plates of appetizers to share. Absolutely everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. I have never tasted falafel as good. If you are in Edinburgh, you absolutely have to try Eden's kitchen.

They had a spare pizza after closing and the owner went into coop to give it to us, Im a regular there and MAN are they such great people :))

Great pub where we stumbled across on a Saturday night. Karaoke was in full swing. Brilliant atmosphere and very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Pizza agradable y sabrosa. La masa es un poco masticable, pero de todos modos es sabrosa. Los arancini son deliciosos, especialmente los de setas.

Food was alright but it took soo long to leave the restaurant and arrive that it was cold. It arrived 1h later than expected.

We first tried Pure Pizza after seeing great reviews — the dough was amazing, but the pizzas were way too salty due to the olives, and we couldn’t finish them. Honestly, we were disappointed. But we decided to give it another shot, and we’re so glad we did. This time, we ordered through their website and saw a note about the salty olives. We also had the chance to speak with Mark, who gave us outstanding customer service and explained everything. My husband is Italian and I lived in Italy, so we know good pizza, the dough is unique, light, and truly delicious. Pure Pizza has won us over. Highly recommended!

Oct 2022 - OMG yes I highly recommend this eatery. I think I ate dinner here 4+ times out of the week. The employees were friendly and attentive. I tried different items off the menu, but I must admit I always went back to the pizza. That dough and the way they hand make it were stupendous. They also offer gluten-free penne and spaghetti. Great location and the prices were reasonable, hence the multiple trips there. Oh oh they make their own beer, I had multiple Hopo Lagers. I believe they have 4 that they craft. Great choice for lunch or dinner. You can join their rewards program too and receive discounts, just mention it to the servers and they will adjust the bill.

Lovely local takeaway. Recent redecoration has made it stand put in a row full of fast food outlets. Food always good quality.
