Flava Restaurant in Edinburgh, City of

My sister and I are visiting Edinburgh for a week and decided to drop by this beautiful restaurant. The place itself was lovely, and the service was fairly quick, although the drinks were a bit slow to arrive. The waitress who took our order was somewhat unfriendly. I had a gyro, which was nearly impossible to eat and lacked flavor. As we left close to closing time, it felt like the staff were practically trying to kick us out the door.

Always comes quick!! Perfect always right!! I rang up and complained one time a while ago now since then it’s always spot on cooked perfect! well done chips and pizza personally how I like them! And I don’t know if it’s new people working there or new drivers but there soo friendly and very nice! Which makes a big difference to get good customer service! Thank you so very much!!

Wouldn't go again to pay 5 pounds each for a donnor kebab to get 2 skimpy meat slices its unacceptable!! Then rang up and for the lad on the phone to give you mouth isn't right either I'm a regular customer and never had this !! Rude customer service !! Never will return now after this !!

We used to use elsewhere in Barnoldswick and decided for a change to use Flava. We’ve now never ordered from anywhere else since! The food is always really REALLY good. Always steaming hot on delivery and you can tell it’s fresh. The Naan breads in particular are always some of the best we’ve had, but everything is, we’ve had tried chicken, donner and tandoori kebabs and pizzas,Highly recommend you try if you haven’t! The full order didn’t arrive. I rang straight away to say they missed something and they said they would ring their driver. Waiting 30 min rang Back to ask when the missing food would arrive said they would send a fresh one which Took over an hr to deliver

Food was luke warm/ cold. Not usual standard. Disappointed to say the least.

Driver was rude because I had two dogs to put away and he knocked 4 times. No need to have a attitude but the food was good

Food fine but half the order was missing, four phone calls later and a lot of stress and no apology we finally have the rest of our order!! Before you send the orders out check you have everything that should be there, slack work

Lovely food as always but forgot our dip, this has happened a few times and to be fair I could ring but I'm not calling for a dip to be delivered as food will have been eaten by then.

After staying on the nearby glamping site which is difficult to find in the dark our food arrived on time and piping hot. Tasted lovely and fresh. Would recommend to anyone.

Brilliant! Delivery turned up piping hot and lovely food. They had forgotten the drinks but straight away said another driver was on the way with them and they arrived before we we’re even half way through eating. Incredibly pleased with the service and the food was lovely. Highly recommend.

The only takeaway round here that genuinely takes note of the extras that have been paid for! Pizzas were amazing.

Food came undercooked and soggy, rang them and they argued that they wouldn’t send food out like that. Disgusting attitude, unwilling to help. Disgusting food. Used plenty of times and never had a problem however after tonight’s experience, I will never use them again.

Been ordering from here for years, used to be top quality, but tried again tonight, things have changed! “Chicken fillet” processed frozen crqp, thin mushy, straight in the bin, chips used to be crispy, was hot but soggy,in the bin. donner meat was ok, and chicken tikka good but thats all we had left from £20. Not one to complain but after this im having to re-order from YUM-YUMS. Never again now, abysmal. seriously just use YOU-YUMS! Guessing the buisness has been sold. Gutted, this place was the bomb

Not as good as what we’ve had before from here. Ordered large but definitely not what arrived apart from the box it came in. Minimal salad and dressing. Don’t think I’ll be ordering again in a hurry which is a shame.

I was disappointed to be honest, the chicken strips were soggy and the spicey wings were burnt, salad virtually nonexistent. Chips were good though.
