Pure Pizza in Edinburgh, City of

A rubbish place, they took an order from us at 10 at night and at 12 it still hasn't arrived and it says it was delivered. I don't know if they would have kept it for dinner or what would have happened, but very unprofessional, if you accept an order, you agree to deliver it.

I placed an order through Just Eat, it said it had been delivered but no one came home. Furthermore, I could not contact the restaurant because the delivery was scheduled after closing hours. They finally brought the order 40 minutes after they had said it had been delivered to us

traffic was horrible today and the lovely delivery man was so apologetic and also we were given a free nutella calzone, despite the fact it was less than an hour between placing an order and getting our food! super nice guys :)

Excellent value. The sourdough pizzas are ready 10 minutes after ordering. They taste great. We only order from pure pizza now.

Great pizzas and great service. Have ordered loads from Pure Pizza over the last year or so and the pizzas are great. On the occasion that something didn’t go 100% right, they bend over backwards to make it right. Top service 👏

Honestly can't even comment on the food yet. Ordered at 8.38. Advised would be dispatched by 9.15. Called to chase. Told order had only left the store at 9.48 and it's still not arrived at 10.30pm. Pretty poor to be honest.

Pure Pizza was recommended by a friend about 6 months ago. Since then I’ve used them at least once per week and can’t recommend enough for a cheap, fast, fresh and healthy (ish, still a pizza) pizza.

Prue Pizza staff are brilliant & there Pizzas are outstanding... Especially the Pepperoni Sourdough! Ordered for collection & scanned the QR code outside for discount, there is discount on the website as well. It's my new favourite pizza place. The Pizza chef did not see our check & they came out to give us a free pizza as an appetizer... & Also with our order gave us Ice Cream, everything very tasty!

It took two hours form my pizzas to be delivered, I called to complaint after one hour, and they said they were busy. I asked for a refund, they said Yes, but never refunded me. It is not the first one that they take such a long time to deliver an order

Do not order online - I've been waiting for my order for 50 minutes. They sent no order confirmation, do not pick up the phone, or text back as they say they will in the automated phone message. Starting to think it's a scam

Nice tasty pizza, sometimes good discounts but delivery a disaster! An hour early one week, an hour late another, poor!

I have tried most of the local takeaways, pizzerias and restaurants. And I can honestly say this is the best pizza I ever had in Edinburgh. Perfectly balanced premium quality toppings, tasty done to perfection crust and the dips, incredible balance of flavour, good thickness, just wow! Would give more stars if it was possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Amazing pizza, one of the only places in Edinburgh I could find that did both Halal and Gluten free, will definitely be ordering again.

Usually the pizza and service is great but tonight I ordered a pizza on their app and called them when it never arrived. Was told by the guy on the phone that they had closed yet they had accepted by order and charged me for it. Very annoying as Im on nightshift with no dinner and now I'm going to have to call the bank in the morning to cancel the transaction. Not good.

Ordered gluten free chicken tikka & chicken pizza, sourdough pepperoni pizza, wings and got brownies and ice-cream to try. Gf pizza is brilliant each time, we travel into Edinburgh for it as it's the only takeaway pizza I can customise and it's always worth it. The wings are thick and loaded with sauce, juicy and super hot. The brownies are fudgey and fresh, I got ones made that day and were so good I ate both myself. Highly recommend - it's very well priced, tasty and staff are lovely. Gluten free takeaway is hard to come by but really glad to have one that's so good and really consistent.

Good for gluten free pizza bases.. however they were more on the cold side when arrived. We reheated in our oven.

There is just about every kind of dough and topping you could ever want here. Build your own with all the toppings you can think of. We ordered Gluten free dough but you wouldn't have know, it was cooked perfectly. The salad we ordered would have been enough for 4 so we couldn't finish it. The chicken goujons were great too. Everything was perfect, thank you

The worst pizza I ever try. Pizza just with sauce, nothing else. was hard to find salmon on one. Abd the second was suppose to be cheesy, but hard to find chese too.

Really good quality pizza, for a good price, with a great selection of toppings. The sourdough base is superb, and the all-over quality is top-notch. I've paid a lot more for lower quality pizzas. I will be back. There are a couple of goofy things to look past though - some room for improvements, around the picking & ordering. 1- there are no preset pizzas - everything is a cusom build. Sometimes I'd like a reccomendation or quick option. 2- everything is 12" - I'd love some bigger sharing sizes? 3- everything is book and pay on the website - I walked in and asked to place an order, bu no can do.

One of the best halal pizza I’ve had, the delivery service was outstanding, I really appreciate when its the customers fault, but still (customer is always right) poor driver waited for more than 20 out the flat and there was a problem in the bell and the call in delivero, after 20 min i went to him and he was soooo chill, he was an old guy, his treatment was so professional and chill, he told me that he waited for 20 min and still smiling for me, if it was any other delivery app, he would take the p*s out of me. The owner is a coke head. I left a bad review on deliveroo because the pizza was soggy and tasted dirty. It was disgusting. Over the course of a month the owner called me six different times, one being after 11pm, to ask me what my problem was. He was completely coked out of his mind and deranged. I don’t feel comfortable knowing that he knows my address. Avoid.

Wonderful service! Absolutely recommend eating here for anyone who is interested in vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options. The team cares about your order and will call you if they have questions, e.g. I’m celiac and they wanted to reassure me that my free pizza would be gluten-free as well. Also, they are the ONLY place in Edinburgh that serves FRESH pineapple on their pizza.

Just ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. 1 pizza box was crushed and the driver ran off before I coukd say anything. The second pizza was supposed to have double olives , but unless they only give 4 olives normally they definitely did not put double olives. Only 8 were on the pizza. very dissatisfied and I could not recommend less.

Unable to see me a single can of Coke as for some reason not only did they not take cash they wouldn’t take my card either. Put us off using the place the next night as we were staying right across. Poor form.

Gave this place a try as my partner is gluten free. I can easily say for the price, its an absolutely class place for food. I do like a crispness to the pizza and this place smashed it. Gluten free is also spectacular because you have so many topping options, which is not common to come across. We will be back, many times!

Finally a pizza joint that offers tasty options for the whole family or group of friends! I had the best gluten-free pizza in Edinburgh so far. Dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan, and meat and fish options are also available so everybody can be happy. There is a sourdough option and the toppings variety is also outstanding. I love artichokes on pizza, but they are not commonly available. Finally, the service, my pizza was ready when I went to pick it up and the staff was available to rectify an error I made during ordering, without extra charges!

Awful pizzas. They take nearly 2 hours to arrive and when they do, they are burnt on the edges. Used to be good but this is the last time I order from the.

They made a mistake with their order and forgot 2 of the added toppings from my order, it happens but when I called to tell them this the person on the phone literally laughed at me and told me they cant just send the 2 toppings over. Wow, no kidding. They did offer to give me them free next order, great only I dont want to have to buy another pizza to get what I already paid for. Apparently they are going to text me with a code for a free pizza but thats not happened much to my lack of surprise. I stopped using them very much after their prices kept on creeping up but now im not interested in going back. And btw this pizza is swimming in grease. What happened to this place… Used to be good.

Tasty pizza at low prices- just ask the guys for a link to their own online shop, it’s way cheaper than ordering through Just Eat or Uber Eats.

Fantastic pizza different types of dough the base is lovely wasn't to much cheese got say was one of the best if not the best pizza in Edinburgh you got try the sour dough it's out of this world delivery only but you must try you won't be disappointed

Fantastic gluten free pizza 🍕 I would highly recommend pure pizza is you follow a gluten free diet. The pizza is large and the base is lovely and crispy.

Pure pizza is absolutely delicious. My friend and I were working out doing parcel deliveries and stopped here as we seen outside it was £3.99 for a 12” pizza plus £1 each topping. It was such a great price point and it was absolutely amazing. Pizza brought out to the van within 10 minutes and the owner was absolutely brilliant with us, great guy and great service, I hope this business blows up because it definitely deserves to be big news!! I will definitely be back if I am out that way again.

Ryan was excellent. Helped me with my order, and even gave me a free drink as I couldn't get my pizza delivered (my postcode was too far). Pizza was lovely. Pineapple was really nice, I recommend it.

Sadly very poor service. 1.5 hours late and Pure Pizza person hang up when queried. Happily told us that they are willing to lose customers before hanging up.

These pizzas which i got from you today 2/05/2023 through just eat .i try to eat something because its a food , but i can't . burned and all

1) the order was an hour late 2) pizza was cold 3) didn’t have hardly any cheese 4) I ordered pepperoni but this was salami 5) it was cooked with cornmeal all over the crust…why?? 6) the crust tasted old and had a weird after taste...perhaps like a refrigerator smell? 7) the price was £17 for what you see in the picture! 8) it was absolutely awful…after one slice it went to the bin. I was very disappointed in this place, despite the reviews. To be honest, the chain pizza places are tastier and a better value, even the Deluxe pizzas from Lidl and Aldi in the refrigerator section are WAY better than this.

Pure pizza are truly amazing: there service is great and of course the pizzas are absolutely excellent! I am vegan and they do a phenomenal vegan meatball, caramelised onion, truffle oil, and vegan mozzarella - truly recommend! Yesterday I hosted a pub quiz as a fundraiser event for amnesty international, and pure pizza were kind enough to offer free pizzas for all my guests. Marc the boss of pure pizza even delivered the pizzas himself! Truly great service!

I’ve ordered from here regularly for the past year as their gluten free pizza is normally great however tonight the pizza arrived and looked completely different to normal so I phoned them to check it was definitely GF. The guy explained it is, but it’s a cauliflower base instead as they’re having supply issues with the regular GF base. I said okay and left it at that but when I tried the pizza it wasn’t nice at all, doesn’t taste anything like dough, the base was like soggy bread and there was hardly any sauce on the base. I called them back to explain if I’d known it was on a cauliflower base I wouldn’t have ordered it and the guy said it clearly states on their website it’s a different base however I ordered via Just Eat and it doesn’t state this at all. Overall extremely disappointing from them as the pizza was not nice at all I couldn’t eat it and their customer service regarding the matter was poor. Won’t be ordering again and will be sticking to Pizza Geeks for GF pizza from now on.
