El Steam Cafe Bar toma su café muy en serio, tanto que es una religión virtual. . . los pasteles también están bien.

Pizzaland Bristol serves some of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve ever had! The dough is perfectly light and chewy, with just the right amount of char from their wood-fired oven. The toppings are fresh, flavorful, and authentic, staying true to traditional Neapolitan style. Every bite is a perfect balance of texture and taste. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. If you’re a pizza lover, this is an absolute must-visit spot in Bristol! Highly recommended.

Ordered takeaway pizza. The cheese and tomato was nice and so was the one I ordered other than ready grated cheese which was presumably added once the pizza had gone cold. We live fairly close to North Street and were surprised when the pizza and garlic bread arrived and was cold. Not even warm! Heated it up in the microwave which did the sourdough no favours. The pizzas were as tough as old boots. Presumably it is better to eat in. Wouldn’t order as a takeaway again.

Bristol Cathedral Pinkmans cafe Popped to the new Pinkmans cafe for lunch as wanted to see the changes from the old cafe. Didn't order anything as when we went in at around 12, none of the sandwiches, rolls, cakes etc were covered with anything, allowing flies to land (from the open door in the corridor outside the cafe), peoples germs (those queued up) and everything else to be able to land on them, hope it has improved when we return to take photos of the art installation again, or trading standards will NEED to be informed. Prices were astronomical too.

It's several years since we tried Pizza Workshop, having drifted away from them because of the abundance of fior di latte instead of buffala mozerlla. However, we tried two pizzas - one pre-designed, and one of our making - and were pleasantly surprised. The base is nice, the sauce is good and balances acidity of tomato with sweetness and there's a good range of toppings. As in the past, the pizzas with fior di latte or goats cheese end up too wet and the base quickly goes soggy, but for those we could have mozzarella instead it worked out really nicely and was a top notch pizza. So, for us, I think it means working to a smaller subset of the menu where the base will stay dryer and crisper, but that subset of the menu is really well done.

Nice trad pub atmosphere with dining upstairs. Pies are tasty but 'hefty'. You'll need to be hungry. Second time visited when we were staying in Bristol.
