This is an expensive place to eat with tapas dishes costing on average £14. Some are as much as £18. If you have 2 or 3 pp as suggested that is an expensive meal. The dishes are ok but not special enough to warrant the cost or a return visit.

Wowsers! Had an amazing meal here on Saturday on the outdoor terrace with my wife. Each dish was fantastic, I especially loved the courgette. Probably the best I've ever eaten. Save room for the desserts. They will blow your mind. Will definitely be going back. Great atmosphere. And the staff were all absolutely brilliant. Best meal out for a long time.

Me and my friend booked to have some food and a drink, we could not thank the staff enough for how welcoming and friendly they were. The chefs also deserves extreme recognition as the food was top quality and some of the best plates we have enjoyed. The overall atmosphere is what won our hearts for how lovely the vibe was and how everyone was just happy and enjoying their time. Thank you again so much and we can not wait to return :)

This was genuinely one of the nicest meals I’ve had in Bristol for a long time. The sausage ragu was truly delicious, with both sauce and pasta being prepared really nicely. The focaccia bread was warm and paired with a lovely olive oil. The Hispi cabbage side was bravely covered in chilli which gave it a nice kick, and the burrata salad had some lovely touches like the use of blood-orange and almonds. The service was also consistently nice and friendly throughout. The bar offered to make mocktails, and I'd have loved a virgin bloody mary, but sadly they don't stock tomato juice. However, it was otherwise spot on, and it's been a while since I left a Bristol restaurant for the first time immediately planning a return

Lovely little spot in Bristol. I can't believe how good the food was. The veggie dumplings in tomato sauce, the sausage pasta, the steak and the wine were all amazing! Great service from the staff there, and Nick came over to check on us a few times. Great ambiance, with some food music in the background. We will be visiting again when we return to Bristol.

Finished our wedding celebrations at Snobby's, and Nick treated us like royalty the whole time. You made our special day even better and I couldn't recommend using Snobby's for a special occasion enough. 10/10

Best Tiramisu I had in Bristol! Rugu is still keeping always high quality! The most amazing dish is the new pistachios spaghetti, surprisingly spicy but well integrated and incredibly flavorful!

A few weeks ago we booked out the indoor space at Snobbys for our engagement party. From the get go, Nick and his wonderful team were so helpful in helping us plan and co ordinate the evening, and make sure it went off without a hitch! It was a huge sucess, all our friends and family absolutely loved the place, and still cant stop raving about it. Huge thanks to the chef and their very creative team for ensuring that all members of the party were well catered for- we had a number of dairy free/gluten free/ soy free/ vegetarian/ nut free guests and the quality of all the food provided was second to none- nobody felt that they were missing out! This is one of our favourite local spots in Bristol and it was a joy to be able to share it with all our nearest and dearest-no doubt we'll be back very soon to enjoy a plate of pasta and a glass of Snobbys Rose!

This is a bona fide Italian restaurant, of which there are few in Bristol. As an Italian myself, I have high standards when it comes to food. Snobby's delivers, and then some. Wonderful location with a beautiful terrace for al fresco dining. Delicious food (we ordered half the menu to try everything when we went there, not a single item disappointed!). Great wine. Very attentive staff. You can see the passion the chefs have for serving up great food. We will be back! Grazie Gio' alla prossima!

This is probably one of my favourite restaurant’s in Bristol right now. Amazing combination of really authentic Italian food and amazing wine selection and knowledgable staff. Thank you very much for looking after us. We had an amazing time.

I loved everything about this restaurant and can’t wait to visit again. Service was excellent (friendly and conscientious), food was really delicious, the wine list was excellent and I loved the decor and paintings.

I have been to Snobby’s twice now and will definitely be returning. The food here is amazing, the interior and atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and the service is also great. The duck is exceptional and a must have if you’re going! Both times, everyone I was with couldn’t believe how good it was. The best duck I’ve ever had; tender yet crispy with gorgeous flavours in the sauce and orange. The ravioli/pansotti is also amazing with a delicious chilli and garlic oil and baby tomatoes. You must also try the chocolate and salted caramel cannoli if you have a sweet tooth! Sweet yet gorgeous flavours and super fresh. The ragu and nduja pizza was also very nice! But the duck, pansotti/ravioli and cannoli are top 3. Can’t wait to come back.

Hadn't researched this place before coming here, took a chance on a Tuesday evening that they'd have a table, and got lucky. So glad we did: the food was top drawer, the waitresses were friendly and super helpful, and the vibe in the place was great. If you love Italian food I can't recommend Snobby's enough. Now planning our next visit, and will definitely book!

Me and my partner came here for Valentines day. love the vibe here, I feel like I’m entering one of my boogie friends dinning room for a relaxed, intimate meal. The food is thought through - two plates that really stuck out for me were the confit duck and the burrata. The duck was slow roasted, deep, rich and melted in my mouth, it will be one of those things I think about when I am really hungry. The burrata in comparison was fresh, light and fresh - it was giving spring vibes and went beautifully with my wine. I wish I had photos but we demolished the mains in seconds it was that beautiful. However we snapped a pic of the cheery desert, another stunning plate!

I’ve been to Snobby’s last weekend, and we couldn’t be more happy, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic & cozy, Ben our sommelier gave us an amazing wine to try which was “Nero di Troia” , the food was brilliant , burratas & wild boar ragù were delicious but what really made us say WOW was the confit duck. We will definitely coming back 🙌🙌

I ate hear on Saturday night with my 4 friends. We had an amazing experience. Unfortunately they were fully booked inside, so we had to sit outside, but they had an outdoor heater and lots of blankets. The food was so delicious! Presented well, something different and lovely flavours. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming! I’d definitely recommend! ⭐️

5 star are not enough! They definitely deserve more! The food is amazing and the atmosphere too! Jump the head chef is not only a great chef (his food is really special!) but also a very kind person. Fabulous. We just went for drinks. Brilliant service, great atmosphere and great wine list. The bowl of nibbles (FOC for my wife's birthday) were an added treat.

Fabulous food, drinks, and service. Everything was delicious! Standouts were the gnudi, lamb shoulder, and crab spaghetti. After dinner cordials were delightful. Highly recommend!!

Not suitable for coeliacs. I came here with my friend as we wanted to try somewhere new that could cater for her. The website states they accommodate coeliacs so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, they do not provide gluten free pasta, the pizzas are a gluten free crust but not cooked in a suitable way for a coeliac and no desserts are gluten free. Ultimately she was left with a choice of 4 things on the whole menu, which considering it is a small plates sharing restaurant meant I had to order options she could not eat and we both left feeling hungry and disappointed. The food we did get was tasty but did not give us the sharing Friday night vibe we wanted. The person taking our order did not seem to understand the importance of allergies versus personal choice and seemed wholly unequipped to handle the situation. I suggest that the website gets updated to reflect they do not cater for coeliacs.

Fantastic atmosphere, fabulous wine selection and friendly staff

We had a great evening in this splendid independent Bristol restaurant and wine bar . The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink they are serving. The small plate meals are a great mix of southern Italian dishes lovingly served up by their chef JP and his excellent team in the kitchen. Nick (the owner) has a wide and varied selection of quality wines. The atmosphere is lovely, capturing the charm of Chandos road with its long culinary history. Thoroughly recommend.

Nick was incredibly accommodating to our table of 14, especially as we were not the quietest table. The food was stunning, the beers, wine, and even water tasted incredible - not a fan of Grappa, and even that surprised me. Il be back for sure!

A group of 7 went to Snobbys for the first time on Friday night. The food was absolutely delicious. But I most wanted to leave a review regarding the staff. When we arrived, it was packed from front to back, the place was fully booked to the last two seater on the street! The staff took it in their stride, with a smile and just fantastic service. I've been to a few popular restaurants since moving to Bristol and this hands down has been the best so far, food and service combined! What a fabulous find. Staff were brilliant. Great range of small plates and small pizzas. There wasn't anything we wouldn't want to try. All the food came very quickly. Huge selection of wines- not all on the wine list!

One of the best places I have eaten in Bristol. They could do with a few more veggie options, but the food, wine and service was amazing. As well as the atmosphere! If you are going for a nice dinner in Bristol, don’t waste your time anywhere else and go here!

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and hoped to get pizza too however they only have so much space in their fridge so unfortunately our pizza needs were not sated! Book in advance for food on the weekend, I've had their pizza before and it's heavanly

we found out about snobby's via peng pasta's Instagram page and thought we would give it a go. It was such an amazing experience. We went with the waiters wine suggestions and he nailed it perfectly! The food blew me away such bold flavours and creative flair, but still following the classis Italian routes of the head chef GP. Finished the meal with an old fashioned and it was made with skill and care. The staff are all amazing and friendly and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening. 10/10 you guys are legends!

Absolutely love this place- cosy, stylish, laidback and amazing food! Loads of wines to choose from. The polenta fries with truffle mayo are out of this world… please bring back the scotch egg, I’ve been dreaming about it ☁️

Nice atmosphere, nice food, friendly staff.

Really love this venue. Food is always delicious. Last visit we introduced friends outside of Bristol to this restaurant as it is one of our favourites. However, we were rather disappointed after having to change our order multiple times after being told something else was already off the menu due to limited availability. Considering we had an early evening booking for 6.30, it felt underwhelming that a lot of the options had already ran out. Additionally, one of the selections that was available didn't actually arrive. So instead just asked for it to be taken off the bill. Unfortunately our waiter did not seem to know what was really going on, possibly might have been new? Usually I am very satisfied with this venue, no complaints with the food. Just a shame we brought some first timers along to not have the best experience. I am looking to book again for a few weeks time with some other friends. Hopefully a better experience next time.

When you step into Snobby's you take a trip to the south of Italy. Traditional Italian food, just like Nonna would make. Small sharing plates allow you to enjoy a variety of tasty treats, both sweet and savoury. GP is an incredible Head Chef, an absolute asset to this amazing restaurant. Never have I felt more welcome in a restaurant, the front of house team are all so friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Particularly recommend the lamb porchetta and the polenta chips. Friendly service.

Absolutely fab, from the greeting on arrival to our departure, wonderful service nothing too much trouble to the outstanding food and wine, will most definitely be back.

Last night was our first visit at Snobby's and we couldnt be happier, the atmosphere was just absolutely welcoming and warm, it was busy!! The food was just incredible, we went for arancino to start, burrata pizza &scamorza & porcini incredible flavour, we had some pasta to share, the ragu' was deep in flavour and tha pasta had that crunchy bite (al dente), and the gnocchetti with clams & pumpkin to die for, we later discovered that the pasta is handmade daily by the Snobby's team, Nick raccomended the polpette and despite we were already full we had to have one portion of polpette too, and it was just delightful. To finish our meal we had some incredible espresso Martini accompained by the cannoli with ricotta and pistacchio, everything was absolutely fresh and delicious, we definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu, last but not least the Wine menu got you covered with some great european wine as well as international wines too. Thank you Nick and the Snobby's team!!

Very hit and miss. The pizza was delicious, the meatball sauce had great depth of flavour and the polenta chips were great. The ragu sauce was rather bland and the pasta not quite cooked to Al dente. Likewise the Gnocchetti were almost crunchy. The riccota in the cannoli was very grainy. I raised this but with no acknowledgement. The wines were lovely although sad to see very little in terms of actual Italian options.

Quite simply the best meal I’ve had in Bristol. We ordered a selection of small plates, a side and a pizza to share between two and every single dish was delicious. The depth of flavour was impressive and all the dishes complemented each other perfectly. Great wine list and upbeat atmosphere, with the friendliest, most enthusiastic service. Absolutely can’t wait to go back.

Really lovely atmosphere and lovely interior and friendly staff. Bit disappointed that I specifically asked whether the pizza was sourdough, which the waitress assured me it was, but then it wasn't. The pork plate (Saltimbocca) we had was also quite bland and dull and dry, which we told a different waitress about when she asked how things were. She simply said she'd pass it on to the kitchen. Generally the staff didn't seem very well informed of what the food offerings were. I'd go again but just for some wine, I think there's better places to eat. Definitely go for the atmosphere and wine though!

Wine was 5 stars, their small plates were all pretty much 5stars, atmosphere and setting five stars, but I've had to give 4 overall because their pizza was incredibly underwhelming. For prices of £10 and up (I paid £14 for an nduja pizza) the quality was not that great and I seriously regretted ordering it once I saw my friends get the small plate dishes, which looked amazing. Had to order one myself (prosciutto and buffula mozzarella with melon) and it was miles above the standard of the pizza. Definitely worth a visit and a lovely place to take friends / family out for a meal, but if I were you I'd avoid the pizza (at least until they get that sorted out as they obviously have good chefs judging by the quality of the small plates) as it was way below other pizzas I've had in Bristol for the same price or even much cheaper. Kind of a shame , but I would return for the small plates (heard great things about the squid ink tagliatelle) and wine, but definitely not the pizza.

Friendly staff , good to feel a happy vibe in people mixing on a warm friday evening , just a drink each and pud, a Lil on the expensive side but maybe just the cost of covid backlash on business.

Disappointing service from our waitress who had very little knowledge of the food menu and the food was average. After reading so many good reviews (mainly 5*) I had to give this place a try but was disappointed. The tomotoe base for the pizza was poor, no ingredients on top can mask it. The squid ink pasta was under salted and tbh i've had much better. The polenta chips had a good texture with a well balanced side dip but again nothing outstanding. The outside seating area is lovely and the service was fast. The only positives however, will not be going back. If you want a pizza that’s on a completely different level and has an authentic taste which comes through in the ingredients try Molto Buono in Bristol. On the same street as Snobbys theres a restaurant called Wilsons where the service and the food is brilliant.

Great food, amazing staff and brilliant atmosphere. Had a perfect night out and will definitely be back. Highly recommend the scotch eggs, never knew they could taste that good !

Snobby’s is such a brilliant place - the owner, Nick, is always there, literally quivering with excitement over some delicious wine he can’t wait for you to try. The food is amazing too - scrumptious crisp pizzas, and Mediterranean influenced small plates. Lovely atmosphere too - cannot endorse enough. I wanted to add (18 months later than the above) that Snobby’s continues to go from strength to strength. The atmosphere is so relaxed and lovely - you could go there to celebrate a special occasion just as much as you could have a casual Friday boozy lunch with a chum. Just go here. It’s the best.

A charming wine bar in a nice setting on Chandos road. Good selection of wine, as you would expect. I was a little disappointed that the staff couldn’t recommend a wine and seemed to have little knowledge of menu, which is why I would generally go to a wine bar.
