The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Pizza pasta food

Went for Sunday lunch with family and friends. We had a lovely Sunday roast which had lots of vegetables, roast beef, gravy, Yorkshire puddings. The pub was very busy but the staff coped and were very pleasant and helpful. The Spitfire has had a number of different owners over the years and food has been a bit hit and miss on occasions. As we live near to this pub we hope that the new owners will continue with the good food at reasonable prices.

What a boozer! Travelling from Leicester, this is a well established, welcoming pub. I couldn’t ask for anything more, class beer, wine and food. Proper good pub highly recommend

This was our last evening meal on our 25-day trip from Canada to UK and Ireland. We stayed the two nights in a nearby Waterloo hotel - and decided to have our last dinner meal here. We were not disappointed. Besides the delicious food, our server Jaynab was the highlight of our experience. She was gracious, professional and very attentive. From the time she took our reservation a couple hours before our arrival to delivering the bill, she was totally aware of our needs and wishes. Both our entrees (fish & chips and veggie lasagna), soup of the day and rocket salad were delivered appropriately and in a timely manner. Also enjoyed the relaxing ambiance in this restaurant

Pizzas arrived in poor condition, all toppings slid off and welded to the side of the box, had lost heat too. So was cold and hardened to box. Chips were Luke warm and not the large portion we ordered compared to previous orders. Bad service.

Me detuve aquí por una noche y cené aquí, el personal muy amable que era muy servicial. Muy buen menú con una buena selección de comida. Excelente carta de bebidas, muy buena selección y buenos precios también. En general disfruté mucho de mi comida y el ambiente.

Fifteen discerning gentlemen of a certain age lunched at this pub after a local walk and couldn't have been better looked after. We had booked for only 14 lunchers but the kind and efficient staff coped admirably with the extra number and we enjoyed plentiful platefuls of pie and mash with lashings of gravy ,fish &chips, fish cakes and burgers which was all cooked excellently and served with a smile. There were a good offer of beers and wines and it was clear to us that this was a well run pub by a talented team who knew how to please the customer. Very many thanks.

Tasty pizza and good value for money. My 15 inch was just £12

Cookies turned up burnt. Ordered sprite and received coke instead and the chicken wings didn’t have much flavour. However the pizza was nice.

Super hot, tasty takeaway pizza! Highly recommend was exactly the same standard as eating in the restaurant. Friendly staff and quick service.

V V Bad Service 😤 Placed order for delivery advertised as 45 mins 50 minutes later called to ask were was order? I was told order was cancelled as they did not have enough orders and was asked to wait another 20 minutes, still no order another 50 mins later called again, still no order had no option but to cancel was told they’d speak to manager and call me in 2 minutes……. Yes you’ve guessed no call !! 🤯

Friendly and efficient service. Food ok but not much choice for a vegetarian who doesn't like spice. And unfortunately the stuffed peppers was on the bland side - pesto would have improved them. Husband enjoyed veggie pie but thought it should be mentioned it contains cheese (in case of dairy allergy)

Great friendly staff good prices and always has various offers promotions (check their webpage) nothings too much trouble for them...Evan have a small area for eating in... absolutely spotless

The worst fish and chips ever. Cod over cooked. Batter burnt cod inside shrivelled and stuck to over crispy batter. Chip dry and shrivelled clearly cooked more than twice. This was a complete waste of money inedible even my cat wouldn’t touch it as it tasted and smelt of burnt fat!
