Gran lugar para relajarse y tener algo de comida, el lugar era precioso y también lo era el personal. Disfruté de los cócteles, así que recomendaría

I popped in for q quick lunch while out, and it really wasn't good. I ordered a pizza and asked for it well done (crisp). They got the toppings wrong, it was blistered on the edges but soggy in the middle, and it really just tasted like one of those frozen pizzas from a budget supermarket. It was like it had been microwaved and then flashed under a grill. I mentioned at the end that it wasn't great and the waiter just looked at me sorrowfully. There were three women sitting opposite who had ordered some sort of taco dish, and it appeared to be deep fried stuff plonked in the middle of tacos. They came into the restaurant after me, and left before me (tacos unfinished), and I wasn't there very long. I really don't like writing negative reviews but this pizza was so amateur that I wouldn't trust anything else. Places like this will put meat-eaters off vegan restaurants. Not recommended. On the plus side, the decor and ambience was pleasant and the staff were polite.

I have eaten from here in the past and it has been good. Unfortunately, not enough care is taken to remove the bones from the chicken for the jerk wraps. The mishap resulted in a dental problem for me; a painful tooth from unassumingly biting into the wrap and hitting bone. I would probably have forgone leaving a negative review (things like this can happen) but it has been some weeks since the incident and I am still experiencing pain. Message for the owner: please take more care with the removal of bones.

Everything I ordered was perfect, and on time! I didn't notice until now, that they'd put me an extra Jerk Chicken and Gravy too, with a really sweet note, saying its on the house, and free of charge! :) I'm Muslim and have been fasting all day for Ramadan..So this was really really appreciated! Hope you read this and see that I'm thankful!

I have been here a number of times and enjoyed the food and service. This time I chose from the fixed price menu. The turkey was very disappointing, it was large slices of very dry white meat, with no gravy or sauces or the usual trimmings one associated with Turkey. The desert, trifle, was also very disappointing, it bore no relationship to what I would expect as trifle. It was as if the restaurant was not aware of what were and how to serve traditional dishes. Three of my friends who had the same shared my feelings about the food. I had turkey at my local pub last night and it was infinitely better. It is a shame as this is a good restaurant. Those friends who ate off the main menu had excellent food

This restaurant is quite distinctive in that it is on the ground floor of a building constructed within a former gasholder. The terrace at the front faces the canal, which gives it a quaint charm. It can also lay claim to the unique distinction of celebrity ownership - none other than Idris Elba (look for his picture on the back of the restroom door). My colleague and I had reserved, following our visit to The Lightroom, so it was conveniently located, only a short walk away. It is worth exploring the canal-side, especially in good weather, which appears to be a popular venue for hanging out. We opted for a table inside, to escape the harsh sun. Whilst it provided shade, I did find the air conditioning a tad on the cool side. Otherwise, the ambience and decor were great, and the customer service was polite, efficient and very professional. The menu itself is quite select - limited to 4 starters and about 8 mains (categorised into vegetable, meat and seafood), which does make ordering somewhat easier. The 'roasted bone marrow and garlic butter snails' starter sounded interesting, until we were told that it takes about 30 minutes to prepare. In my view, that makes it unsuitable as a starter, which generally should have a speedier preparation time than the main courses, and I wonder if there is a reason why this caveat is not stated on the menu. No matter. We opted for the burrata and the wild king prawns tempura respectively (see pictures). Not sure about serving burrata with a spoon, however. The king prawns tempura with avocado aioli on the other hand were a revelation, cooked on skewers with a rich, thick batter, quite unlike any tempura I've had before. Beautifully presented too. The mains were chargrilled octopus with butternut squash, aubergine caviar, tomato salsa and red wine jus, and chicken cordon bleu with baby gem and mustard sauce. The chicken cordon bleu was not very impressive, appearing in the form of a type of breaded sausage more reminiscent of something you might find in the frozen food aisle, although I'm not suggesting it was frozen. The octopus was delicious. The butternut squash mash was rich and creamy. This was accompanied by a bowl of chickpea fries, and a plate of thick sourdough bread with the now ubiquitous brown butter with caramelised onion, also very good. I also sampled a very fine Blushing Bride APA from Coalition Brewing (see pictures). We decided to forego dessert, mainly because it didn't feel like there was much effort put into it. Again, it was quite a small selection (Eton mess, profiteroles, ice cream, affogato), so nothing particularly original. The final bill came in at just under £136 for two, with the usual 12.5% service charge. To be expected for a venue of this calibre. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

This was our 4th visit and we were very disappointed with our experience today. Whilst the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere and surroundings lovely as always, the food was a let down. There is no longer a Sunday carvery - replaced by a plated roast, although portions were plentiful I doubt the meats were ‘home cooked’ and they tasted processed. Two of our party had ribs and these were not hot and did not taste cooked (still had cold fat on the underside). The onion rings were greasy and again under cooked. The burgers had by the men in our party looked on the pink side. We did not want to create a scene in the restaurant as it was busy with some large tables. But at £185 for 6 people it was not a pleasant or cheap experience and has left us questioning if we will return despite it being on the doorstep of one of our party.

We booked this family run hotel for a funeral tea for my brother. Having never been before we dropped in for a visit, and were warmly welcomed by the owners, we were given reassurance about the day and could tell that they have experience in this type of event. We were not disappointed the food was warm and plentiful. We were all well looked after, the atmosphere relaxed. nothing was too much trouble. We appreciate everything that was done to help us on this sad and stressful day. I would like to go back one day in happier circumstances.

This is my Favourite Caribbean restaurant in London. The Food is flavoursome and menu has an extensive range of food options. Been coming here for a year now and always happy

Muy por debajo del estándar. Mala organización. ¡El viaje en autobús reservado para 4 noches tenía malas opciones de menú para 36 pasajeros de una edad promedio de 70+! El desayuno estaba bien, pero el servicio era lento y desorganizado.

Barely any food options, however the bartender was very nice so it made up for it. Food itself is okay, but pretty sure it was frozen. Burger alone was £7. With chips… £14? Mad.
