I have been here a number of times and enjoyed the food and service. This time I chose from the fixed price menu. The turkey was very disappointing, it was large slices of very dry white meat, with no gravy or sauces or the usual trimmings one associated with Turkey. The desert, trifle, was also very disappointing, it bore no relationship to what I would expect as trifle. It was as if the restaurant was not aware of what were and how to serve traditional dishes. Three of my friends who had the same shared my feelings about the food. I had turkey at my local pub last night and it was infinitely better. It is a shame as this is a good restaurant. Those friends who ate off the main menu had excellent food

No regresaremos aquí.

Probablemente no volveré.

No siendo volveremos otra vez!

Maybe the audience likes dull meals but this left me bored and wishing for something more interesting. The rhubarb rice pudding creme brulee promised more than it delivered. My fish need a bit of spice and had none. My starter was not memorable. Sigh.

2 x sandwiches & 2 x soft drinks totalling over £20!? Ive been to some much nicer places and paid a lot less! The roof terrace is not on the roof but on the first floor to the rear of the pub. It has baout six tables and is netted off from the view of some office blocks? Poor food quality wise with the bread being used for the sandwiches no better than the stuff i buy out of the supermarket!? And for what it cost it just wasnt worth it. Avoid.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday for an early evening meal before we met friends for drinks, and was severely disappointed. The service was very good and the waiter was friendly, and the views were ok.What really let this restaurant down though was the food, it was almost inedible at times. We had Scallops & Chorizo which as so salty you couldn't taste anything else, the Rabbit terrine was dry with "bullets" of old pancetta. For mains we both had fish and this is where things really went downhill, the seabass was just about ok, but was served with a stodgy pea and crab salad that was repellent. But the herb crusted red mullet was just inedible, the crust was so thick and herby, it felt like I was eating sage stuffing on top a piece of delicate red mullet, a complete disaster. Usually desserts are failproof but even here, the Baileys cheesecake was not as good as any you would find in Tesco or Sainsburys supermarket, and the Mixed berry pudding was so sharp that serving it with creme fraiche was just plain silly.I was hoping for so much more after reading the reviews but left disappointed

My husband and I went to the Globe on my birthday. We found it on the internet. We decided to give a try. £25 per person for a 3 courses meal and a glass of prosecco was affordable. We even prepared ourself to get disappointed. But no... We went there, had the best table with a fabulous view. It was amazing... From beginning to the end, service was excellent. Waiters were very helpful. We had smoked duck and salmon as starters. Delicious... I had medallions as a main. We are not big eaters but if you are hungry, you should get some sides because the plates were nearly empty just juices:(( desserts were divine. We were also given second glasses of bubbly on the house as it was my birthday:)) nice... Overall, it was a lovely night. We were the only guests but instead of feeling uncomfortable, We felt special :))) the waiter said they are busy on the weekends generally. So we really enjoyed everything. Get a glass and enjoy the beautiful view and conversation with your loved ones:))Definitely recommend it !

We used "top table" to pre-book our table here, as we were staying at the hotel. The "top table" booking allowed a discounted rate for our three course meal which made the meal incredible value for money! We chose the scallops for starters and can honestly say they are the best we've tasted! We also ordered the beef with bornaise sauce and this was also up there in flavour and quality. The dersert menu is a little lacking in choice, however, this made us choose deserts that we may not have otherwise chosen and wernt disappointed as again these were excellent. The waiter was very helpfull and courteous. The one thing that stands out more than anything else is the night-time city view which is spectacular and, being in London, very rare from a restaurant!

Decent food, the service is ok thought that's an improvement as it used to be terrible. The prices are very reasonable with large portion. Best is to stick to their pizzas as their pasta are not quite as good (Ie Carbonara with rich creamy sauce, not really Carbonara !) But I have been there a lot over the years, so all in all not bad.

This restaurant sits on top of Crowne Plaza Hotel on the 7th floor.Spectacular views looking towards the City and Canary Wharf in the distance.Brilliant views at night with all the various lights. The meny was a bit limited for a hotel of this size, and the quality of food could be improved. However the service was very attentive, polite and smart .This you do not come across daily! Full bar service available with a nice selection of wines, downside being the steep prices. The restaurant had a small balcony with a few tables outside, where you could enjoy the ambience of London. You could also order food in the hotel bar on the ground floor, and the choice and quality was quite good and prices appeared reasonable for London.

We came upon this restaurant just be chance. As we strolled in Covent Garden it was that time of day for a beer and a stop in a 'not touristy" pub. We saw The Globe Pub .It looked interesting so in we went. My recommendation, if the weather is nice, eat in the rooftop restaurant either outside (weather permitting) or inside.....The couple next to us had ordered a "cheese tray"...It looked so good that that we ordered one too...It was fantastic as was the service and the beer...I give it a five star recommendtaion. The Globe Pub and Dinning on Bow Street in Covent Garden.A great fine!

We had beer and pub food, steak for me, fish and chips for the spousal unit. It's a lively, fun place, friendly locals drinking up a storm. The male bartender wasn't very pleasant, yelling at one of the poor waitresses in his English with an Italian accent voice, but other than that, we enjoyed the place, and that was likely a one-time thing. The bar is atmospheric and fun.

The cocktails are nice and the food is fine. The decor and vibe is great. But..... There were at least 6 staff hovering around us. It's so off putting. We were sitted next to the door, literally 2 floor staff standing beside us the entire time. They tried to clear our table twice before we were finished. It wasn't even that busy. Less than 2 seconds after putting down my fork someone was trying to take the plate. Just felt rushed the entire visit. Disappointing, definitely our type of place.
