The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Last Wednesday I was there around 5:30 p.m. the restaurant was closed. There was no information on Facebook or even a simple note on the door. I tried to call, unfortunately no one answered. The next day I wrote a message asking about the situation, no response so far. This is the approach to customers in this restaurant

We went to the Bruno Mars Tribute night yesterday, disappointing is an understatement, there were 6 of us and 2 of the guest were regulars, initial thoughts were that the restaurant looked inviting, décor was quite appropriate for an up market diner and the staff were pleasant. That's were the compliments stopped, the table service was slow, I ordered a simple G&T, three times she came back and asked if I could change it as they had run out of things, this was the start of the evening not the end. The Sea Bass Starter arrived and it was very well presented but over cooked, the Pork main course was very slow to arrive, but when it did it looked very nice but after tasting it, it was disappointing, fatty and stringy. I went to the bar and ordered 6 porn star cocktails, one for each of us, I was asked to pay £66 upfront for them, this felt very insulting, maybe the owner thought I was doing a dine and dash, now the group I was with are all very seasoned cocktail drinkers, but not one cocktail was finished, everyone of us after tasting them refused to drink them, they tasted disgusting. Normally I would just let this ride but having had the upfront payment debacle I decided I should mention this to the waitress, I very politely told her the situation and she assured us she would speak to the owner, that was the last we heard of it, not a sorry or even an offer to remake them, nothing. Shortly after this we left even before the act had finished. As a tribute act, Bruno Mars was great and the ladies loved him, as for the Dining it was so disappointing, the bill with a few drinks came to almost £700 for the 6 of us, in our opinion, not worth anything like that.

The food was unbelievable, best Persian I’ve had, would highly recommend. Good service and good location. Will be returning soon.

A big thank you to Chris, Louisa, Tina and Sue for making our Afternoon Tea such a memorable experience. We have enjoyed afternoon teas in many places including Betty’s and Harewood House. Both very good BUT the Blend Afternoon Tea surpasses all expectations and at £12.50 a head it is incredible value for money. The plate of savouries including a small soup of the day included fresh cooked goodies, pork pie and small salad. We were then treated to the main fayre with four different types of sandwiches, which can be tailored to your taste buds, lovely jam and cream scones and home made cakes. Our appetites are good but we still needed a doggy bag! Fabulous food very tasty and of outstanding quality and flavour. I recommend this experience to any couple at a very reasonable price

First visit to Home on Lindley, I’m vegan and so happy was impressed with the amount of vegan options on their menu .. I had three small plates. They were all delicious. It was also great that the garden room was doggy friendly.

80th birthday day party surprise for my mum very discussing booked in add vance did not get the seating sat separately and we was being rushed

Great quiz, atmosphere was brilliant. Guy who hosted was well prepared and not the usual quiz questions.. which was refreshing. Definitely recommend and will be coming again.

When we aren't going to Palace Tandoori Restaurant we order our takeaway from Maxi's. They have great selection so if some want pizza, burger, kebab, curry in a nan.... That's fine coz I can still have my favourite curry n pilau!

Getting attacked by flies while eating on last 2 occasions

Every time we order from this Nando’s. They miss something out. Without fail.

Visited this nando's in February and was told they had no disabled access due to the lift not working, and it had been out of service for over a year. Terrible service,
