Goats cheese salad to die for... just fabulous. A good sized portion beautifully presented and very tasty... not a morsel left on my plate. Service excellent too. Will be having this again 😜👍😋

Went for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Nice friendly service, really enjoyed my hot chocolate with Bailey's and Bailey's chocolate cake. Looking forward to making a return visit.

We live locally and after visit g a few shops decided to have lunch here.The cafe was almost full at noon but we got seated.Plenty of staff on and we had a large tea and large cappuccino whilst we decided on what to have.My wife had gammon and coleslaw sandwich and a side salad and I had feta cheese salad with half a granary roll.I did want goats cheese but they didn’t have any during winter, not a problem though.Service was good, the lunch fresh and tasty as were the beverages. £17 odd for the lot.We will return.

Had a great night with friends last week at the psychic night. Lovely food and service, although we do go quite often and it has a warm atmosphere, good value for money menu and friendly staff,popular too so it's usually busy

On a miserable day we called in for a coffee out of the cold and wet. We chose two coffees and a fruit shoot for the little one. We opted for a toasted teacake and coffee and walnut cake to complete the snack. The cake came with ice cream and a slice of orange and was very tasty. The staff were attentive and service speedy .

A few times a year Blend opens on a Saturday evening for a gourmet food evening. We have been to many of these themed evenings and have enjoyed every one of them. Last night was no exception. The Yorkshire Bistro Evening was a foodie heaven. Great choices including for Starters Smoked Whitby fish pate, and my choice a delicious Pigeon Breast from the Swinton Estate. For my main course I chose the Belly Pork which came with a black pudding mash and a wonderful mild mustard sauce. My wife had the North Sea Hake, delicious. The Bistro was fully booked and no wonder. The food served up was first class. I highly recommend these evenings for anyone who enjoys good tasty food at a sensible price. Last night was even more memorable as the owners and staff had completed their Christmas decorations to give a very warm and seasonal atmosphere. Of course these can be seen every day as the café is open Monday to Saturday throughout the week with one of the best menu choices I know for a café/bar of this size.

The food was lovely however I question the hygiene of a particular worker who dipped their hands into the flapjack jar then started eating it behind the counter, then started preparing someone's drinks and not even washing hands: I was looking from my table and felt uneasy.

I don't drink tea or coffee but love going in here for slices of their homemade cake - amazing and different selections when O go in. Im usually in a rush and it is no trouble for them to pack it up as a takeout.

Llamamos 1 Sábado por la mañana, mientras que fuera de compras, tanto tuvimos un desayuno y debo decir que era preciosa. Todo era estupendo, especialmente los huevos escalfados realmente nos hubiera gustado hacer huevos como buena, una gran taza de té. Sí, el lugar es un detalle pequeño, pero aún así vale la pena visitar, como sin duda volveremos en algún momento.

Llevé a mi hijo para comer y terminamos en el Blend Bar cafetería. Lugar pequeño y acogedor, con un personal muy amable y buena comida selección. Dirección orgánica para sus muy vino. Me gustaría probar algunos pero estaba conduciendo, tienen una pequeña selección de licores diferentes. Bueno, guarde los pasteles para la próxima vez. WiFi gratuito. Y si estás buscando una buena pinta o es el micro dos Crown & Roses a sólo 75 m de la carretera.

Este es, por mucho, mi favorito de la cafetería. El menú es excelente. Me encanta el hecho de que no muchas opciones saludables. Estoy después de adelgazamiento y comer fuera puede ser un desafío, pero a veces se mezclan es el mejor sitio para ir...

Visitamos aquí numerosas veces. Siempre visitar cuando queremos desiertos por la tarde, té/café en cleckheaton. Incluso tenía una noche buena el año pasado cuando una noche folklórica con música en vivo y bebidas. Personal agradable y buen ambiente.

Encanta este pequeño bar cafetería! ! Mejor en Cleckheaton en mi opinión. El personal es encantador, amable y atento (ayuda a la hora de conseguir una trona). Siempre comida de excelente calidad y cantidad. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente

Although a small cafe, they do amazing food and all are on blackboards, with so much choice. Fabulous hot chocolate with the works !!! Also licensed premises so add a drop of Baileys to your coffee. Cakes are available too. Great place to meet friends for lunch.

Took my elderly fussy mum for lunch and even she didn't have a problem lol. Great choice menu and will help in any way to get food/drink just as you like it.

This café bar has everything you could wish for. Breakfasts are served until 11.30 everyday and then great choice for lunch. Many sandwiches, panninis, salads toasties etc. The specials board nearly always has two warm lunch items on. Today there was a pork sandwich and a black pudding, chorizo and chicken salad. Soups are heavenly, all home made. Today was pea and ham. I would recommend the Omelette and the lite bite Bacon and smoked salmon. Delicious!If there is anything on the menu which you want to alter slightly this never causes a problem as all the food is freshly made on the premises. The resident chefs do a marvellous job.I have been going to this café now for upwards of four years and it never disappoints.

Periodically call in to Blend for lunch although it is very popular and there isn't always a table free over the main lunch period. Well worth a visit though, helpful friendly staff, one of the best omelettes I have ever had and a huge selection of delicious cakes.

Called into Blend on a very cold November lunchtime and ordered the soup of the day which turned out to be Broccoli and Stilton. Not being sure about the Stilton I showed some hesitation but the owner Chris straight away brought me a small sample to try. It was delicious. Smooth creamy texture with a lovely hint of broccoli and cheese. Probably one of the nicest soups I have ever tasted. All the soups at Blend are homemade on the premises and so are always of a high quality.I noticed on the Specials Board two main course lunch choices, one in particular suited to the cold damp day, a giant Yorkshire Pudding filled with sausages, carrots and gravy. I was nearly tempted but had enjoyed my soup too much!I pop into Blend on quite a few occasions and always find the staff cheerful, helpful and chatty. It is always an enjoyable experience and very reasonable prices.

Called at the blend today for dinner with my mum and auntie, as I had heard they did slimming meals and we are all slimming!! We all ordered a jacket potato.. and they were beautiful!! Great value for money and staff were very polite. Will deffo be returning!!

Not the first time at the Blend as we have had a few nice lunches and have been to several of the evening meal special nights over the last few years. It is a lovely cafe with really nice owners and staff. The food is always freshly prepared and of an excellent standard. The cakes are gorgeous, and I noticed yesterday that they have recently won a 1st cup for best scone. Love this place and will be returning again soon

My friend and I went to Blend for lunch and were pleased we did! We sat outside in the sunshine but we certainly weren't forgotten about! The waitress that served us was very attentive and friendly. We both ordered jacket potato with tuna and coffee. Our order came pretty quickly and the food was freshly cooked and tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

We needed lunch and found this cafe bar tucked away near Tesco. No idea what to expect, we were delighted. Chose the poached salmon from the specials board with a glass of wine and Capachino to finish. Very generous plate full, nicely presented and extremely reasonably prices. Service was excellent!

Came here this week with family as I have been a few times before. Always clean inside however is a popular little cafe so I'd avoid peak lunch hr as you're waiting for tables but food always nice whether you get a salad or panini etc with big portions and plenty of it. Drinks come in nice glasses and they do GORGEOUS CAKE! Always get a piece to take home when I do come. Can be quite a bit of a wait for the food though and do think it's slightly overpriced for a cafe don't get me wrong the food is presented nice and tastes fine but just seems expensive to me (one of reasons it's not a regular occurrence more like last min option). Does what it says on the tin nothing to rave home about

Have visited this cafe many times for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The food is always fine. But lately there seems to be a reluctance to clean tables and attend to people -despite plenty of staff. I have to say that the music has certainly improved from some weird south american-jazz -annoying muzak to what i think may have been Motown...Come on Blend -don't let yourself down with the service.

i have visited this cafe several times and always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, they have some lovely food and cater for a light bite or a full meal if your starving, its tastefully decorated and has additional seating upstairs should downstairs be full, plenty of parking with a free carpark only a few minutes walk if you are not able to mark outside or in the street to the side.

What a lovely suprise they sell a lovely wheat free and dairy free carrot cake beautiful. And gluton free bread xwill be going again

We went to Blends on Wednesday 16th December with my sister and brother-in-law, what a great time we had. The food was exceptional, service was brilliant & the atmosphere really great too. I would advise anyone to give Blends a try, if your passing through cleckheaton at all!!Great job guys and thanks for a brilliant night x

Once again we attended a Saturday night Blend Bistro evening, this time with 6 friends. The café-bar holds around 30 covers on a Bistro night and the atmosphere is brilliant. Mine hosts Chris and Sue are extremely welcoming and make your evening so relaxing and enjoyable. Chef Granville is world class and I have yet to have an evening meal at Blend which is anything but excellent. The food is always wide ranging, tasty, well presented and plenty of it. This Saturday I completed my meal with the Cheesboard. Absolutely brilliant. 6 different cheeses, grapes, celery and a good supply of biscuits. My brother-in-law who was one of my guests is a cheeses and biscuits fanatic and JUST managed to complete his plate. He loved it. Two of our gusts were experiencing Blend for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They will return. My other brother-in-law simply texted me the following day, "Thanks for a great evening. Good food, good company, a fantastic evening."This comment however could be said of any Blend Saturday night evening be it fine dining or Bistro. Seems a long time to the next Saturday night opening, probably January, but the wait will be worthwhile.Thank you Chris and Sue. You always look after us so well. It's a night out we always look forward to.

There doesn't seem to be anything worth recommending about this place. Dull decoration, dull menu in a dull location. It could do with a better menu, more varied and interesting. The staff were all very nice though.

Ok but fairly slow service and take a long time to take orders, also got order wrong. It has gone downhill from previous years

Went to a special "Bistro" evening here with the in-laws. Despite the company it was a great night. Food was spot on and atmosphere was lively an fun.

The decor and cafe seemed really nice until me and a friend sat down and looked at the menu for around 10 minutes and then was told that we could only have cake as it was closing at 5 baring in mind it was only half 4... We had only wanted the meat and cheese platter and some soup!! Very disappointed and annoyed as we were actually really looking forward to it!

We popped in there as we were waiting for our car to be fixed near by and it was lovely ! As it was a warm day we ordered caramel frappes and I must say it was delicious !!! Sandwiches were lovely, they came with a side of salad which was a nice touch. It's a nice place to pop in for a coffee, food is nice and staff are very friendly and helpful, will definitely have to come again !

We are local to the area and I have to say it is the ONLY place I would go for breakfast or lunch in a 5 mile radius! The scrambled eggs and salmon on muffin is delicious and my hubby loves the full breakfast which is tasty, not greasy but still a fry up if that makes sense. I opt for the vegetarian breakfast which is generous and tasty. The coffee and home made cakes are lush too; I never stop at one flat white....... The atmosphere is like a bistro and Sue has cleverly introduced health conscious menu choices. There is a specials board which changes regularly and the themed nights they have are great due to it being licensed premises. Putting it plain and simple, if you want a clean café with good food and bistro style atmosphere then this is the place to be.

Blend Cafe is still right up there as one of our favorite places for lunch, the food is always well cooked and well presented.Myself and my wife had different paninis this time, bacon & brie and a cheddar & Tuna,these arrive with a really nice salad (Not the usual, lettuce, tomato and cucumber)I think you would be hard pressed to find better value at any other cafe around these parts. Yes the cafe is small, I would guess it seats around 30 people, but it is not cramped and Yes it's always busy, To me that tells it's own story, Take a trip to Blend, it's Worth the Drive

We pop in on a regular basis for lunch or brunch and find the cuisine & staff to be first class.The menu is really nice, not your usual sloppy Joe's full English all you can eat rubbish.If you really want a treat try one of there regular gourmet evenings with Chef Granville. The food is fantastic and the relaxed atmosphere adds to the experience. The owners Sue & Chris do a fantastic job and I would recommend this little gem to anyone. Having read some of the previous comments I thought I must visit but was bitterly disappointed.The cafe is very cramped and you have to squeeze past the chairs as they have crammed as many tables in as they can. There were what I assume were regulars in who the staff seemed to dote on and it seemed to be a lot of trouble to serve us.The food was very average and not good value.We won't be back.

I absolutely love Blend !! I am a regular here ... It is my favourite place to meet up with friends with for coffee or lunch . You are never rushed if you are wanting to sit and chat . The food is beautiful all homemade and fresh . It is a very varied menu with vegetarian options but also they have a slimming world menu which I find really good due to being on the diet. In fact Sue the owner is a slimming world consultant so is passionate about ensuing that people who are eating healthy are still Able to eat out and enjoy lovely food but know that the food is low syns . They offer low salt options too . The food always comes served beautiful and well presented . The salad that comes with a lot of the sandwiches is huge with a variety of things on . There is a huge varied drinks list and they also have a alcohol licence . Cafe Blend is immaculate inside and Sue and Chris take great pride in the place as do all the staff . They are constantly cleaning and regularly decorate to keep in looking its best . The toilet is also always immaculate. All the staff are always friendly and service is always with a smile . They have a lot of staff that have worked there a while but also ones who have left then come back , this speaks volumes . Blend hold regular evenings which are good fun and excellent value . The atmosphere changes and it becomes a lovely classy dining place on an evening .... Where you could. Celebrate a special event or spend time with friends !An excellent place to eat . Highly recommend ! Definitely the best cafe around and most definitely the best in Cleckheaton without a doubt .

I attended a 60 birthday party last night at blend café Bar. The theme was 1920's art deco everyone was dressed up in Gatsby style clothing including the owners, and the room looked amazing! The music was also within the theme of 1920's which I thought was a very nice touch. On the tables were three tier plates with canopies including salmon pate on bruschetta, cooked peppers and some had pesto and sundried tomatoes very nice,I was asked if I would like a drink and I sat with my friends.The buffet was served personally by the owners and a member of staff and there was so much choice , home made chilli and oven cooked jacket potatoes, two types of chicken starters , a table full of salad and many choices of mix salads, breads, lots of choice for vegetarians also. After that was the main course and I saw a full salmon garnished with salad with a special dressing , fresh meats of all kinds , home made quiches, pasta dishes of many varieties and much more!.Then came desserts lemon cheesecake that was so intricately decorated, meringues with cream and strawberries, home made cakes decorated with cream and fresh fruit , home made trifles and a huge selection of world cheeses with cracker breads .Overall the evening was fantastic , so good that people didn't want to leave the atmosphere was lovely and the staff very helpful , over the night one of the owners was making cocktails of all kinds my favourite was the vodka martinis in a martini glass with olive excellent touch. I felt the overall experience was very good and felt the owners went out of their way throughout the night to help you with anything you needed the food was all homemade and it was obvious a lot of hard work and preparation had gone in to making the evening memorable for my friends birthday. If anyone is thinking about having a birthday event themed or not or a buffet or maybe just is wanting a coffee I would advise Blend Café Bar every time and I did see a trophy for winning The Best Scone at a local show !

I had a Ploughmans Panini, which was different to a normal ploughmans, & I thoroughly enjoyed it, & my wife had a Cheese, Bacon & Mushroom omelette, which she wolfed down. She had a half shot Latte, as she likes her coffee weak, and not many places do half shot, & I had a cappucinno, without choc topping, which I dislike. They are always very friendly & helpful, & prices are reasonable. Also, a free car park opposite..

Ate here around 1.30pm on Saturday 19th July with my twin sister. Found this place by chance whilst looking for another eatery actually, looked so inviting that we decided to give it a try, so glad we did. Staff attentive not too pushy and left us to browse the menu for a while, my sister takes a long time to decide what she wants so had to ask for extra time lol. We decided upon a panini apiece with a portion of potato wedges for me (I hadn't eaten breakfast) with a sparkling mineral water with ice and lemon. I chose a tuna, black olive, onion and mozzarella, my sister chose ham, Cheddar and tomato, we asked if we could have them cut in half so we could both try each sandwich.The drinks came after a few minutes but the food took quite a bit longer, the place was busy so happy to wait. Food arrived hot, appetising and shared out as asked so didn't have to mess about swapping bits over, came with generous side salad and homemade coleslaw. Delicious paninis with generous fillings. Disappointed with the potato wedges which were served in a small ceramic pot, bit soggy and tasted like Mccain wedges, definitely not homemade!, thought £1.75 a portion a bit steep considering size and quality.My sister noticed an evening event being promoted in the toilet so we enquired about it, 3 course meal for £23.95 lots of interesting things on the menu so after conversing with several members of our family, we booked a table for 7/9 of us.All in all, very nice food, don't use frozen premade wedges though, or at least inform of this so as not to disappoint anyone. Service a little slow but did enjoy the food and looking forward to our evening in August where the guest chef will be creating gourmet food for us. P.s. they have an alcohol licence.

My wife and I came here on a friends recommendation and we weren't disappointed at all. A lovely little cafe with great service and lovely food. I had the eggs benedict which were beautiful while my wife had a full English. The full English was of good quantity and real quality. With a good selection of teas and coffee, a menu of good quality food and a great ambience, we will be telling our family and friends and definitely be heading back.

Thought I'd give the blend cafe a try after visiting a few other of the cafes in cleckheaton, was disappointed at the service we recieved, we didn't get acknowledeged when we walked in, service was slow and the staff weren't very friendly. We waited ages for our food and when we got it we werent all that impressed. The coffee could have been hotter too. No service with a smile here. Think I'll be giving it a miss the next time we visit cleckheaton!

I visited Blend for the first time a couple of weeks ago when I came back to Cleckheaton to visit some friends. It was fairly busy when we walked in, which I thought was a good sign; however, nobody acknowledged that we walked in and sat down, and the table was filthy and had sticky juice all over it. The food was average for the price, and there was a very long wait!! Me and my friends ordered a second coffee once we had finished eating, but when they were brought to our table, all of our empty plates were left there right up until we left...overall, not brilliant service. Blend had been recommended to me by a family member, but I don't think any of us will be visiting again.

Excellent range of choice home-made dishes of a high quality - never disappointed with a visit here. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming - we have been back many times. Luckily we usually always manage to get a table, but it is so popular you sometimes have to come back later especially around lunchtime. Taken many family and friends here and recommended to many.

This is a lovely place to come for a meal, always excellent, with a warm friendly service. For my wife and myself its the perfect end to long walk into Cleckheaton.Congratulations Blend and keep up the good work.

Needed to use internet, they input their access for me, served us some lovely coffees, and tasty homemade cakes. Prices very reasonable. On 2nd visit, took my Sister, & 91 year old Mum, who both thought it was great. Whenever we are in the area, will visit again. Large free car park opposite. Highly recommended.

Having been working near Cleckheaton we visited for coffee 2 weeks ago. Not acknowledged when we entered and it all seemed a muddle. The foods ok ., service a bit erratic and i can think of other establishments nearby better. Would be nice if the attention to detail was improved a smile when entering to start.

Been going in blend since it opened, and every experience has been better than the last, great food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend blend!

I have been many, many times. Sometimes just for a coffee & sometimes for lunch. I've been on their special evening events and I have also held a charity night.. where we raised lots of money for a wonderful charity whilst eating beautiful food. The service is second to none and the food is amazing! How they do it from such a small kitchen I will never know. A real gem .. Love it!

I use this cafe on a Morning, it has a friendly atmosphere, the food is nice and well presented and not Too expensive..

Ordered scrambled egg on bagel and on arrival the eggs were rubbery and over cooked. I asked If I could have them redone and the second portion was no better - only this time the bagel was cold and chewy as it had not been replaced! Not enough milk for a pot of tea and barely enough butter for my husbands toasted t cake. At these prices you expect much better. We used to love it here but the service and quality of food is going downhill.

We { my husband and i and family and friends } have visited Blend Cafe Bar on lots of occassions, from themed evenings to Christmas parties to Saturday coffee and cakes and found that we have had nothing less than 1st class food and service from Sue, Chris and all of their staff. The staff work very well considering the size the size of the kitchen and counter area and we do not mind having to wait for excellent food at busy times. The cafe is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The prices are average for excellent food which is prepared to order and the hosts and staff are friendly and attentive.

Been to Blend many times and nearly always enjoyed the food and drinks. Special monthly theme evenings are very good too. Service is alway iffy, it just gets so busy for such a small kitchen and counter area.Unfortunately at our last visit the service was shocking - we sat down for 10 minutes and still no service, then another couple walked in and sat who got served straight away. Basic stuff that needs to be right - not been back since and we were regulars there every Saturday.Might have calmed down by next month!

This place is (IMO) the best cafe in Cleck. It's decor is lovely throughout, the staff very welcoming, the prices very fair and the atmosphere is very relaxing! They offer slimming world food which is great and are happy to substitute for low fat options. If I had to have one niggle its that its small and very busy but being busy shows how good it is!

Go in here with my wife and daughter quite often. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good food and a good range of hot and cold drinks. You just gotta try the luxury hot chocolate with chocolate buttons and marshmallows. Yum Yum Yum!

We went for a visit about 2 weeks ago and the service and attention to detail is brilliant. The owner came over to intruduce himself as we were a quite a large table for lunch and needed some help getting sorted out. We were really impressed and will eat here again more often. Well done and all the best.
