The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Last Wednesday I was there around 5:30 p.m. the restaurant was closed. There was no information on Facebook or even a simple note on the door. I tried to call, unfortunately no one answered. The next day I wrote a message asking about the situation, no response so far. This is the approach to customers in this restaurant

Food -amazing, ambiance-amazing, service -amazing, Staff-superb! Naz looked after us so welcoming and friendly. We have just had the most beautiful food and whole experience was brilliant! Thankyou all for such a lovely night and celebration of my father in law’s birthday 🎂 xxxx. Also the GF, and vegetarian options are huge! ❤️❤️

Dreadful, waited 45 mins were promised we'd be seated soon which we were. Then waited another 45 minutes. We walked out. Wouldn't come back if you paid us.

Another excellent visit to this vibrant cafe/bistro. I defy anyone to find a more varied menu in the area. Once again I went for the Tuna Melt and once again it didn’t disappoint. A lovely soft baguette stuffed with tuna mayo and dripping with plenty of mature cheddar cheese. Mags had Cold Sandwich 10 prawn and avocado with a lovely side salad consisting of at least 6 different salad items. Great coffee too. Actually tastes of coffee beans! Chris does a speciality which is worth enquiring about..cheese on toast with half cut salad tomatoes and then a sprinkling of flakes of tuna. Well worth a visit. Very efficient and friendly staff who work very hard and a big shout out for cook Sue, on duty Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday cake maker extraordinaire, among other things. Pay Blend a visit. You won’t be disappointed

Visited this afternoon with a client and a colleague. I didn’t get the chaps name who was working but he was fantastic. Saw we were having a meeting, offered to bring drinks to the table and then sorted food order. Really attentive and the food was fantastic. Never been to Huddersfield BD before and was not able to have a beer as with work however would certainly return and look forward to having some of the great beer, cheers

When we aren't going to Palace Tandoori Restaurant we order our takeaway from Maxi's. They have great selection so if some want pizza, burger, kebab, curry in a nan.... That's fine coz I can still have my favourite curry n pilau!

A staff member had a small accident (dropped a sauce which smashed it happens) the manager then was leaving other guests mid order telling them they he has to go sort this out very loudly, didn't seem bothered if staff member okay just getting In the way The staff member who was managing perfectly fine to clean it up but the manager was making such a drama out of creating a scene. The manager looked like he was going to have a heart attack running around to every station trying to micro manage every team member with every job with his red face surely he should trust his team? . It's not a nice environment both for staff and customers him running around there, wow i couldn't work under him or with him. He seemed to slow things down if anything making a drama be better suited to acting. I mean I even went to grab sauces and he's asking if he can help!. The chips as cold on arrival had to send back maybe instead of running around he shoves an apron on and helps getting food out. The staff was polite and helpfull no issues on that aspect. Update :- our next visit was good different manager on shift everything running smoothly and food good

The small 5 plates for £20 are fantastic quality food and filling enough for 2.

If you're a wheelchair user you can't even access the restaurant as the lift is broken. It's been broken for over a year. The manager gave some excuse about an issue with contractors.
