Qué gran hallazgo. Fuimos a desayunar.

Delicioso pollo Frango piri piri y coliflor carbonizada.

Fantastic experience! It was my first afternoon tea, and I honestly didn't know what to expect. Beautiful location, a very professional (Italian) waitress welcomed us, explaining to us in detail how the experience worked, in all its facets. We start with a selection of savory ones, then move on to a selection of sweets, and then end up with the piece de resistance which are 3 mini-cakes dedicated to the theme (in this period the Hokusai wave). For each of these courses you can choose a different tea/herbal tea, for a total of 3 choices. For any advice the staff is always available to recommend the right combinations. The portions are right, and if you want you can ask for an encore of one or more courses (we did this for the initial savory ones). Everything was delicious and special, from start to finish. I immediately announced that I had celiac disease, and they were immediately available and prepared for GLUTEN-FREE. They brought me practically everything, but in a gluten-free version, and everything was excellent (the scones made by them are worth mentioning!!). Unfortunately they only brought 2 of the 3 cakes, because they hadn't yet managed to replicate one in the sg version. In general it was an experience definitely worth repeating, with refined dishes and top-notch staff.

We came here for the garden, though there is also a cafe at the entrance and a nice cafe with table service in the main house. FAR better value and better quality than National Trust places such as Sissinghurst. The gardens are spectacular. Very large. Very neat and totally immaculate. Surrounded by spectacular Kent countryside as far as the eye can see. The Yew hedges are stunning. The walled garden is superb. The topiary is superb too. My wife is extremely keen on gardens and this is easily the most memorable one I have been to anywhere in the South East apart from it's equal Great Dixter. Both beat Sissinghurst (which is the tourist destination and frozen in time) hands down. They also don't have keep out signs everywhere - so you can go in the greenhouses and fully experience the place. In June the Delphinium display (national collection I believe) is fantastic. Godinton is superb value. Highly recommended and great credit to the head gardener Viv Hunt.

Very cute wine bar in the quiet Neal's Yard. Enjoyed some delicious burrata and a few glasses of wine after a long day. Staff were super friendly.

We had booked a table for 8 of us at 5.30 on a Friday evening after work. We arrived around 5.45 to find that all of the lights were off. We told them we had a booking and the member of staff told us they were closed. After some negotiation the lights were turned on and we were seated. A short while later the waiter came back and told us he had spoken to his manager and they were closed. We asked how long until they would open, would it be 1 hour, 2 hours? He said that he didn't know and it was up to his manager. He then suggested we leave and told us there is a similar restaurant down the road. Never before have I had a restaurant recommend we go to a competitor. This caused one of our party to cry, and he only stopped when we promised to buy him a balloon (he's not a child, he just really loves balloons). We walked back past Da Beppe (the same one that was closed) around 10 minutes later to find the staff member serving wine to a table. We were obviously confused so asked why the restaurant was now open when we were only just told it was closed. We were then invited back inside but fearing for our safety, we declined. We then went to Zizzi's by Goodge Street station. If you are looking for a restaurant that is open and serves authentic Italian food justa like mama used to make, I recommend you go there. 4.2 stars.

Estafa completa.
