I just have the chicken shish,and it was one of the best i have a very long time.People are so friedly,everything very fresh,is so clean,that whay you expect when go aut for eat.Defenetly recomended.Well defenetly come back for sure!!

Both mezes and kebaps are really tasty. Definitely try Lamb Shish. It is our favorite as a family. The owners are really kind and friendly. They are creating an ambience feeling you like at your own home. One of the best Turkish restaurant in London.

Ekin never fails. We've been going to this family run Turkish restaurant for a few years now and everything is always delicious!! I'd recommend the wine leaves, kisir and sucuk for starters. Yogurtlu with chicken as a main (served with rice and salad). Thank you Ekin!! Looking forward to enjoying another evening there soon!

I stumbled onto Ekin while staying in the area on business. When I arrived, the restaurant was mostly empty. By halfway through my meal, the place was packed with local families and groups of friends. The kabobs were excellent, particularly the chicken kabob. And, I was thrilled to get some authentic Turkish coffee. When I was leaving, the owner asked how my meal was. When I told him that I had just happened upon his restaurant, he told me he had been there for many years. I said that it was obvious that he had many regulars, to which he replied that I was the only non-regular there! If you get that much repeat business, you must be doing something right. If I didn’t live in America, I’d be happy to become a regular, too.

The food was outstanding, flavourful, and well worth the price. The staff were welcoming and attentive, couldn't ask for more. We stopped by while in the area and were more than happily surprised, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Hidden gem, best Turkish restaurant we have ever visited - and we have tried A LOT of places in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and Turkey. Family-run, clean, beautiful, cosy decor and very hospitable. We will definitely be coming back with family and friends. Worth every penny! We can especially recommend the Adana kebab!

A small and friendly restaurant in south hampstead. The prices look a little high on the menu in comparison with other places in the locale but the food quality and quantity make the place decent value. All the dishes I tried were enough for 2 people with my size appetite. I found the food to be very tasty. Service was efficient. There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes also. Highly recommended.

Ordered a takeaway collection from EKIN and it did not disappoint, they were very nice people! Very generous with food portions. I was ordering for 6 people and almost over ordered he told me I had ordered enough and stopped me from over ordering… (could’ve made extra money) Also amazing food!!!! The best Turkish food I’ve had in a while and I go to a lot of Turkish restaurants.

Weekday lunch is 17.9 euros including starter and main. But service fee? Received 2 euros and got 19.9 euros The quantity is huge and the taste is good haha.

Quite good Turkish food. Good quality. Enjoyed my chicken kebabs but a little lacking in taste. Served with good flat bread and dips. Among the better restaurants in the area. The lentil soup was the best thing I had.

Came for lunch, as was looking for a restaurant near Kilburn park and this one was near and had a good (4.5*) rating. It is dissapointing to say Ekin definitely did not meet its rating. Me and my friend were the only ones seated at the restaurant for our meal and there were 4 members of staff at the restaurant, yet we had to ask for our food order, cutlery etc on more than one occasion. None of the staff also asked us how our food was and kept leaving the restaurant door wide open in the middle of winter. It wasn’t very hospitable. The food itself was also average at best. There was a concoction of cold salad and charred vegetables which had almost been burnt and because the door had been left open our food had gotten cold quickly. We couldn’t finish our meal. The highlight was the Turkish tea to keep us warm. Unfortunately, a 1* experience.

We’ve been visiting Ekin for nearly a decade now, the owners are lovely and very friendly, the food for many years was impeccable… sadly since lock down the prices have been raised to much and the quality has dropped slightly. unfortunately the cost is not justified anymore, better food at half the price can be found in other turkish gril restaurants not so far away.

Delicious food, generous portions (the three grilled meat platter was enough for two people including the accompanying salad, bread and tzatziki) - definitely coming back!

Food is good and genuine, the issue is that it used to be reasonably priced and after a crazy 66% increase YoY it is now almost £25 for a chicken skewer, definitely excessive. Pity, this was one of our regular takeaways.

Please be aware the food is very very expensive at west end prices in Kilburn. I will not be returning here. Sorry but felt I was RIPPED OFF. Food was OK at best. I am a regular at Ekin. It's a great place. The food is delicious and the staff are so sweet and friendly. I always go with two of my friends, who go even more than me. One of them speaks Turkish, which makes it more fun. I don't know why but I always get the doggie bag, as there is always loads more than one can eat in a sitting. Last time, I discovered that the sharing plate comes with stuffed vegetables at the bottom of the platter but none of us knew, because we have never got down that far. We always kick off with the Meze, which would be enough for non greedy people (not us) and sometimes, when we come in, we get a treat lke calamarie, whilst ordering. A happy, friendly local.

Stumbled across this restaurant/takeout this evening and was warmly welcomed by the lady behind the counter. It looks like a standard kebab take away place but when you get inside, there are some tables out the back set up nicely with a good atmosphere. We had the skewars (one lamb, one chicken and one chicken shish): all were cooked perfectly and tasted delish. The breads were plenteous and so tasty for simple flatbread. The aubergine dip went beautifully with the meats inside the bread. There were salad and dips to accompany everything. Plus we had the couscous which was also great, top flavour and good texture. A really great meal for three for £33. Would definitely return.

I’m so happy they are just around the corner from where I live. It is always my first destination after I’m back from abroad and not only. We been here for Father’s Day celebrating with my family on Sunday evening from north London because I red review and rates but I disappointed. Food quantity was almost good, little bit burnt fish and vegetables. staff were nice and friendly but very busy with take away and delivery services. I recommend not really comfortable with family and kids because sitting area is very small. People drinking alcohol and smoking front of the restaurant which was annoying us. I mentioned.

We are local so we have been here a few times. We usually have the mains and meat is consistently good quality, authentic and amazingly marinated. Family owned place, impeccable service. We are very lucky to have this place close to us.

I knew when I opened the door and saw the dad cutting lamb and the daughter putting new coals on the fire, this was the real deal. Adana kebab also is a big portion, it’s my breakfast today too

My family have been using Ekin for collections and the occasional meal in for about 10 years. The food is fabulous cooked over charcoal right in front of the customers, which gives it all that authentic Turkish flavour. Particular favourites are the Adana Kebab and the Chicken wings but in all honesty everything I have ever tried is very good. The Hummus, Cacik and Tabbouleh all way above average, not to mention the wonderful bread grilled over the coals. Although with the extraordinary increases in energy, rent and rates in London the prices have gone up, the portions are huge. If you are taking away two dishes will easily serve 3 people. It is hard to quantify where it sits in the grade of restaurants, it is a local gem, I suppose some would consider it a little expensive, but compared with most fast casual restaurants the food and service is on another planet. The owners and all the staff I have encountered are so friendly and always remember you.

Service was absolutely great. I felt like I was in Turkey. Excellent kebabs for a long time I haven’t tasted such a great food. As a complementary we got stuffed vine leaves which was delicious. We definitely come back

Really tasty food, very friendly, quick and attentive service. Parking in the area is easy. On the downside, the prices are extremely high for a small, more of a take-away place off the road and for what they are offering (we have been at numerous similar places and the prices are not even nearly as high). Another thinly on the downside if you have a family with small kids; not a super family friendly place-quite narrow, steep steps to the restrooms and no high chairs available. Overall, recommended for once, would not return.

My first time eating here(not dinning due to Pandemic); Before the pandemic, I'd pass here mid week, Friday & some Saturday evenings. Often I'd see a bustle inside & the odd queue outside. Passing by wafts a lovely aroma that arouses your sense of smell, sending overpowering forces to water your mouth. Then................. the pandemic hit & hard times. However, today I went in for the first time & the first thing that astonished me was the prices (HOLD YOUR HORSES)! Let me tell you DO NOT HESITATE, just buy whatever you fancy because the portions are amazing & the food was absolutely delightful. You will definitely be seeing me again!

Be ready to travel because I felt I left UK for a little. You can taste the amount of care that goes into this restaurant. The portions are generous: we could have eaten with a couple of starters, a main to share could have been good too. But don't let that stop you, enjoy and take home the rest, because it's delicious

Little cafe in Kilburn well over priced now sea bass not good chops where very nice but rice cold wines not nice at all cheapest bottles £30 too expensive for a Little cafe in Kilburn friends and I will not be returning much better places around with fairer pricing

I find this restaurant fantastic !! The owners are really nice and kind, the food delicious, fresh always tasty, the atmosphere is welcoming and being a small restaurant it is never noisy, the management is familiar and for this you can still eat authentic! Absolutely deserves to go and eat there !! A great experience every time I go there, thank you so much !!

Good thing is the location as it has few car parks resident bays infront but food Portion and salad was really small. They don’t offer chicken kofte, only lamb. I ordered lamb which was rarely done and felt half cooked (not authentic Turkish style). Minced meat had small bones which lacerated my leftside upper gum! I was with a date so kept quiet but left half of the food and didn’t ask for boxes to pack it for home.

I lived in Turkey for several years and Ekin has authentic Turkish food that is as good as any I have ever had. The family run business is run with great pride in the quality of their food. I cannot imagine finding better Turkish food outside of the borders of Turkey.

Very good taste, the food is prepared while you are waiting. It is so nice to see a family business where all staff are working in harmony. Parking in the area is limited but if you come after 18:30 there will be many options nearby.

Near Kilburn station, a short walk from bus station would reach this original Indian restaurant, luckily visited at early November when no restaurant dine in was prohibited by lockdown. Staff really very prompt and smart, quickly handled a cup of cold water when my friend was irritated by spice . Quite big portions. The salad was fresh and great taste comparing same meal I did at Inverness.
