Super good turkish dishes! I had filled paprika with salad and I could have eaten a second one. However the portions are great and the price is decent!

Not going back. I can make a long list of reasons to avoid this place. Rude staff, menu not matching with what they serve, cramped seating... To be honest, the seasoning of the dishes I tasted was not bad. But Google review is asking for "Food, Service and Atmosphere". A rude member can entirely ruin the experience. For example I asked for one certain dish and sides on the menu, and they served something completely different. When I asked I was told that's how they prefer it and customers like it. I tried to be reasonable but you cannot even talk to these people.

If I could give this restaurant more than five stars I would. Visiting London to do some research at the British Library and came here for lunch - so glad I did! The food is excellent and reasonably priced, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant itself clean, though a bit cramped. Already came by twice and will go again.

Some of the best gozleme I've had both in and outside of Turkey. Bijou and homely setting. The spinach and potato gozleme is some of the best around!

First, all the staff were friendly and caring. All pastries and meze’s are very delicious. Portions are quite large. They brew Turkish tea very well. I thank them for representing our gastronomy beautifully. Definitely try it.

Tastes like home. Reminds me of my mom's cooking, so nostalgic I almost cried. Definitely cooked with love. A small hidden gem. All the mezza was absolutely delicious and the portions were big. Had the stuffed peppers this time which was amazing, but would recommend the Borug or any of their pastry for breakfast. Authentic Turkish tea brewed just right. Will always pass by when I go to London.

Nice cozy place and amazing food! I highly recommend a visit at least once. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful vegetarian options they have - not some lazy meat replacement. Looks like they put good thought into what they serve. I got the vegetarian moussaka with fresh orange juice and my friend got the beef moussaka. Their other dishes also looked very appetising!

Best value in this part of London. Good food in this small, family run place. Tables are packed together so a meal here is neat, not gaudy, but thoroughly satisfying hot meals are on offer here. Lots of local people eat here regularly. We certainly do.

Popped in for breakfast and was not disappointed. Great Turkish breakfast, lovely spinach and feta Gözleme with a nice mezze on the side. Would highly recommend!

Amazing place! The food is very good and authentic. Everything is fresh and delicious. I tried the spinach and feta gozleme with a bunch of mezze as a side. It was generous and delicious. The staff was also adorable and even spoke Turkish with my Dad. The only downside was that it's very small and it can be very hot during sunny days. But I will definitely come back again! I wish it was closer to where I live.

Absolutely amazing place to have breakfast/lunch. The pastries they have are top quality and service is quite fast. This will be my go-to place to have lunch in the future if I am not in the mood to try something new.

Absolutely SPECTACULAR little spot! As a Turk myself the food was so so good and totally fulfilled my cravings. This is the kind of yummy home-style food you won’t find at most other Turkish ‘grill’ restaurants, which more so have kebab options. I brought non-Turkish friends and they loved it, too! The ladies cooking were very hospitable and kind. Adored my dining experience here, and if I find myself in London again, I’ll go out of my way to come back!

They have amazing food. Everything there is really good, but the borek with chicken and mushrooms or the spinach and feta flat bread are the best.

A cozy spot serving hearty Turkish meals. I got the roast chicken set and a mixed juice (apple & ginger). The chicken was super tender, and all the sides were absolutely fantastic (especially the rice!!). The juice was fine flavour-wise, but it was served lukewarm without ice. Staff were welcoming and friendly, plus they allowed us to stay for over 2.5 hours (it wasn't a busy afternoon).

Had a very nice lunch here. The pictured plate was £14 and was delicious! They have a great selection of larger meals alongside lots of pastries with different fillings. I think you can get the pastries and meze for a 10er ish which looked like a really good deal. You can get the pastries on their own as well . Great little spot not far from kings x

The atmosphere in Pitted Olive Cafe is great - even when really busy, the staff are attentive and smiley. The food is delicious, especially the roast chicken and kısır. Would always recommend!

The Turkish breakfast was amazing! I'm sad I only went here at the end of my trip and can't visit again to try the lunches.

We stopped here a couple of days while staying in london. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly.

I got a flat bread and a box of salad for £14. This is the cost of a very decent meal in a more central place like Tottenham Court Rd, Warren Street etc. I find the bread and salad a bit too salty for me. But people are nice.

Really lovely family run place. Firstly, this place was well worth the 5 minute wait for a table. A gentleman called Ismail served us. He was really funny and you could tell he was really passionate about the food they serve. Food BTW was top notch. I had the lamb and onion and my colleagues both had the veg moussaka. Definitely recommend this place. Will be back next time I am in London. Keep up the good work

Tasty Turkish mezze and friendly service

Best Turkish food I had it for a long time.

What an amazing little gem near Euston station! While hanging around for our train we were looking for a cafe nearby for lunch and stumbled across the Pitted Olive. Only a short walk from the station, the food at this place is fantastic and the staff are all very friendly. Really decent prices for London, a full mezze platter with Gozleme was only £10 and was not shy on the portion size. The only issue I found with this place is the venue size as getting between the tables and other diners with any kind of large bag was a bit tricky. However, this can't really be helped so a minor thing!

Petit restaurant tenu par une famille turque à quelques minutes à pied de St Pancras/King's cross (en se dirigeant vers Russel's square). Simple et copieux (cuisine familiale turque) mais surtout très très bon ! Les végétariens y trouveront aussi leur bonheur. Rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel. Ambiance très décontractée et accueil adorable.

It's not possible to book a table, walk-ins only. Peak times are incredibly busy, and you will have tonwait a while for a table. Great if you fancy a takeaway. Food is delicious. Staff are friendly.

Really really nice place to have lunch! Everything is made fresh on the day (you can see them making it as you order). They only have around 10 things on the menu which means that the quality is always really high. You can choose to get the ‘main’ item on its own e.g., a spinach and feta cheese filo slice (£6-£7) or have it as part of the mezze option (£10-£11). Portion size is great. I’m a bloke in his 30s so still got a fairly big appetite. I often get it as a takeaway as I work nearby but I’ve also sat down there for lunch. I don’t believe you can book so you’ll have to chance it but worth stopping by to check. Been there about 15-20 times over a couple of years now and cannot say enough good things about it! In this picture, I had the Gozleme with Mezze Platter and baklava to takeaway. Damn good stuff.

I first visited this place as a pit stop for some coffee and saw the salads in the display, so I bought some on another day as lunch for my travels. WOW. And only £8 for the lunchbox. Everything was so nicely spiced, and the plentiful yogurt and hummus on the side evened the platter out beautifully. You can’t find much places that provide great taste and value for the price like this place nowadays. Will come again! Thank you Pitter Olive Cafe staff!

I had breakfast in here and it was amazing . The Turkish coffee was strong and full of flavour . The pastry was freshly made with cheese and leak in it and it tastes amazing . And the women that work here was very helpful smiling and welcoming would definitely come back .

Food was delicious and serving size was very generous. All the servers were also very friendly and efficient. Extra plus is all the meat is halal. Perfect spot for a filling and affordable lunch.

My favorite restaurant in the world. Not kidding at all. Ismail and his family are so lovely and kind! When I lived in London, i used to eat here 5 times a week, and they had my order memorized. I literally come from the US back to London just to get their potato and onion gozleme and mezze. Last time I came out there, they were closed for renovations and I went through all five stages of grief. If they ever close, I will be inconsolable. Can’t wait to visit again soon!!

My favourite place for lunch and have been going here for years. Everything is halal! The staff are nice, friendly and welcoming and it’s a great small business to support. The eat in section is quite small and gets filled up quite quickly during the lunch rush but if you can get a seat, it’s a really cute little place to sit and eat. They make the gozleme fresh in the front window throughout the day which is really captivating to watch and nice assurance of how fresh the food is. I absolutely love their mezze salad they add on the side of each and ever dish, I could eat that alone every day! Super fresh and tasty. I usually order hot food to takeaway back to the office and my go to order is the stuffed aubergine with mezze on the side. Portion is generous and I always have half leftover that I end up having for dinner. Absolutely gem of a place, cannot recommend enough!!

Food quality is good with nice atmosphere and friendly staffs..I love the mixed humuous salad that they are made and a few sweet pastries. During early breakfast time when I visited there so there are limited selection of foods that i can ordered . I advised you to visit there during lunch time so you can try more lunch dishes.

Absolutely delicious and generous plate of food - yummy leek and potato Borek (flakey pastry) and a selection of mezze. V good value and a great atmosphere cheek by jowel. I'll be back. Good selection for veggies but if you want to be purely plant based you'll have to specify on ordering. The lovely staff will help, I'm sure.

Great Gozleme and Salad prices. It has gotten a bit more expensive over the years but it is still a treat. Staff are incrediblg friendly and the dining space is wonderful on a bright day

I chose this place based on Google reviews, and it lived up to my expectations. Initially concerned about seating, the owner guided me to a comfortable area. The food was delightful, though the coffee was okay. Throughout the day, I couldn't stop thinking about the delicious meal. The portion size was substantial; I couldn't finish my plate, likely because I eat less, but I think many would share the same sentiment about generous servings. Service was a bit slow, but understandable when not in a hurry.

What a gem! Visited yesterday with my husband and baby. We had a pram and theres no access but the owner and staff kindly helped us on the steps. Lovely service. The food was absolutely fresh and have a home made feel to it. We really enjoyed our meals, ordered Gozelme combo spinach feta and lamb gozelme very tasty. And for drinks we had Turkish tea and cappuccino which was really nice. Thank you so much

Homely family place. No frills but great food at a great price .

I have been visiting this place since 2018 and I absolutely love it. The food is delicious and comforting, with a great variety of options to choose from. The employees and owners are friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. A big plus is that they also serve halal food. However, there is one major issue that keeps me from going there more often. Whenever I visit the restaurant, the smell of the food sticks to my outfit and myself. It's so strong that you can guess what they served just by smelling my clothes. I really hope they can solve the ventilation problem in the seating area. If they do, I would definitely visit this place every day.

Pitted Olive is a great, moderately priced Turkish restaurant. They serve Gozleme and Burak dishes primarily during lunch hours, and are well set up for takeaway. Food is always great, and the staff are friendly. Well worth a visit.

I was tipped off about this cafe by a relative and they were not wrong, the food is fantastic. They have some tables in the back in a well lit space thanks to a large skylight. A large savoury pastry with a tasty meze salad is just a tenner and there are cheaper options too. Can’t be many better options for lunch in this part of the capital.
