I was passing by this area and happened to notice this restaurant. The food looked good and fresh. I tried the roast chicken (lunch option) £14 with meze. I loved how tender and soft the chicken was cooked, with the salad and hummus it was very good. My friend tried the borek( chicken and mushroom) £7 this tasted good too. Overall good food will try again something different next time. This was dine in, the seating is very compact and tiny but managed to fit in.

Excellent quality/price ratio with a wide choice of traditional Turkish dishes and meze. The women who work there are very kind and the service is fast. Very convenient take away option. Super recommended!

The price is reasonable, the quantity is plentiful, and it’s delicious!! I originally went to get the beef moussaka, but when I got there early, they said they were preparing a lunch menu, so I had the pastry combo and it was delicious too!! Today is my last day in London, and I think I would have visited several more times if I had discovered it earlier. Recommended.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out for a while and it did not disappoint. I had a fantastic lunch here, which was both delicious and fulfilling. Upon arriving, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They explained all the options clearly and made recommendations, I opted for the aubergine and beef. So tender, so much flavour - it was such a treat. The plate came with bulgur rice and mezze - all were fresh. I also had some Turkish tea here, which was brewed perfectly. Overall, it was such a pleasure dining here and I’ll definitely be back ☺️

My new favourite food spot! The staff as soon as we walked in were so welcoming and kind, setting the atmosphere for an amazing meal. The food was genuinely delicious - the best Turkish food I have had in London! I got the stuffed pepper as part of my set lunch which came with rice, salads, humus, yoghurt and everything was gorgeous. I would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting hearty, delicious food and amazing hospitality :)

The food was fresh and delicious! I didn't have a nice experience with the service, however. When my boyfriend and I arrived at the restaurant, we were looking through the options since you order at the balcony. The woman there asked if we knew what we wanted in an impatient way. I like reading the options well before choosing so It wasn't very nice to push us. When I ordered, I read the name of the dish which was even written in the balcony, "gozleme" with lamb filling and my boyfriend ordered the borek with beef and onion filling, but when mine was brought, it was a different pastryand filling. I had the borek with spinach and feta served to me. I went to the balcony to say that I had ordered a different one, and the woman was very defensive and insistent that I had ordered the one she brought me. She got a bit heated, started speaking a bit louder, even though I tried explaining in a calm and relaxed way that it had been the other one (pointing to the names "gozleme" and "lamb" I read when ordering) that I picked. Turns out I just said "ohh okay" pretending to "understand" my mistake, even though it was not the case, to end that situation. I have no complaints about the food, it was a fresh pastry with a nice salad we ordered to accompany it, although i couldn't taste much feta cheese on the one they brought me, just the spinach. But that treatment was terrible, very unpleasant, to say the least. To contrast that with a similar experience at a different place, my boyfriend had the wrong coffee served and when he told the waitress, she kindly told him to keep the wrong one she brought while she went to prepare what he had ordered. It was too bad because the food was good, but I wouldn't come back. Tip for someone who wants to try it: the food is still worth it. Just don't expect to get a good treatment in case something goes wrong, and make sure you got your order clear to avoid it.

This charming family-run Turkish café is a hidden gem. The friendly service welcoming, and the food is consistently tasty—with generous portions that ensure you leave fully satisfied. I always try something different from their varied menu (I end up sampling a different dish each time!). Just a heads up: it's a good idea to arrive before 1pm since the place can get quite busy. Overall, it's a spot that invites repeat visits, and I know I'll be coming back again and again.

Es más bien un lugar para llevar, pero definitivamente la trastienda no está mal, aunque las mesas están tan apretadas, y nos sentamos en la mesa de billar en el medio, que se pone ruidoso e incómodo - es comprensible, pero todavía no es perfecto para los muchos almuerzos de negocios por personas de las universidades cercanas e instituciones similares.

Amazing 10/10 m, great value for money will come back to try everything on the menu !!! The waitress doesn’t speak much English but was very nice. The portion is massive and super filling. Very warm and comfy inside. They also have air con so I defo will come back during the heatwave. Enjoyed it so much such a hidden gem, it was a Saturday morning but I didn’t need to wait.

The attitude of the staff is disgusting, very rude unwelcoming! The tone of their voice, no customer service skills at all, I used enjoy going this place but not anymore! I will never go back again. A delightful cafe with excellent service and delicious, fresh food. We visited for lunch, and were served very quickly by helpful staff. The gözleme and meze were excellent, with clearly labelled veggie and vegan options. It was very reasonably priced for a big portion of fresh and tasty ingredients.

I ordered beef moussaka for lunch and it was really generous and delicious! I think two women could eat it together! Generator Hostel didn't allow me to eat there, so I asked if it was okay to go to the store and eat takeout, but they let me eat there comfortably! The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere was great! It’s a filling menu item that can be eaten with rice!

Super good turkish dishes! I had filled paprika with salad and I could have eaten a second one. However the portions are great and the price is decent!

Not going back. I can make a long list of reasons to avoid this place. Rude staff, menu not matching with what they serve, cramped seating... To be honest, the seasoning of the dishes I tasted was not bad. But Google review is asking for "Food, Service and Atmosphere". A rude member can entirely ruin the experience. For example I asked for one certain dish and sides on the menu, and they served something completely different. When I asked I was told that's how they prefer it and customers like it. I tried to be reasonable but you cannot even talk to these people.

If I could give this restaurant more than five stars I would. Visiting London to do some research at the British Library and came here for lunch - so glad I did! The food is excellent and reasonably priced, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant itself clean, though a bit cramped. Already came by twice and will go again.

First, all the staff were friendly and caring. All pastries and meze’s are very delicious. Portions are quite large. They brew Turkish tea very well. I thank them for representing our gastronomy beautifully. Definitely try it.

Nice cozy place and amazing food! I highly recommend a visit at least once. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful vegetarian options they have - not some lazy meat replacement. Looks like they put good thought into what they serve. I got the vegetarian moussaka with fresh orange juice and my friend got the beef moussaka. Their other dishes also looked very appetising!

Best value in this part of London. Good food in this small, family run place. Tables are packed together so a meal here is neat, not gaudy, but thoroughly satisfying hot meals are on offer here. Lots of local people eat here regularly. We certainly do.

Amazing place! The food is very good and authentic. Everything is fresh and delicious. I tried the spinach and feta gozleme with a bunch of mezze as a side. It was generous and delicious. The staff was also adorable and even spoke Turkish with my Dad. The only downside was that it's very small and it can be very hot during sunny days. But I will definitely come back again! I wish it was closer to where I live.

Absolutely SPECTACULAR little spot! As a Turk myself the food was so so good and totally fulfilled my cravings. This is the kind of yummy home-style food you won’t find at most other Turkish ‘grill’ restaurants, which more so have kebab options. I brought non-Turkish friends and they loved it, too! The ladies cooking were very hospitable and kind. Adored my dining experience here, and if I find myself in London again, I’ll go out of my way to come back!

They have amazing food. Everything there is really good, but the borek with chicken and mushrooms or the spinach and feta flat bread are the best.

A cozy spot serving hearty Turkish meals. I got the roast chicken set and a mixed juice (apple & ginger). The chicken was super tender, and all the sides were absolutely fantastic (especially the rice!!). The juice was fine flavour-wise, but it was served lukewarm without ice. Staff were welcoming and friendly, plus they allowed us to stay for over 2.5 hours (it wasn't a busy afternoon).

Had a very nice lunch here. The pictured plate was £14 and was delicious! They have a great selection of larger meals alongside lots of pastries with different fillings. I think you can get the pastries and meze for a 10er ish which looked like a really good deal. You can get the pastries on their own as well . Great little spot not far from kings x

I got a flat bread and a box of salad for £14. This is the cost of a very decent meal in a more central place like Tottenham Court Rd, Warren Street etc. I find the bread and salad a bit too salty for me. But people are nice.
