The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other european-cuisines food

We had dinner & cocktails for 14 in the sun lounge. They had set the room up beautifully just for us and the view over the sea is gorgeous! All the staff were lovely and super helpful. The food is not fancy, but it’s reasonably priced and tasty.

Today I purchased 6 cheese straws from Cooplands in Driffield. These cheese straws were then carried home safely in amongst the rest of my shopping from various other shops this morning. When it came time for my sister to eat these cheese straws, she put 3 on her plate. She ate two of the 3 with no problem and then when she got to the third cheese straw she took two bites and let out a very loud “OW!” as she had bitten into something hard whilst chewing her cheese straw. She proceeded to spit out the mouthful of cheese straw she was chewing and looking at the mouthful on her plate to see if there was anything there. She gasped and said “Oh my god thats a stone” I said “don't be ridiculous theres no way” and then she picked it out of the chewed up mouthful of cheese straw and held out her hand and said “look A STONE” I couldn't believe my eyes , she was right it was a stone which she had bitten into whilst trying to enjoy her last cheese straw. Me and my sister, Jess, are appalled, horrified and disgusted that this has slipped past the quality checks. This stone could have seriously injured her teeth so thank god she realised and spat it out. This unfortunately puts an end to us purchasing baked goods at our local Cooplands. My sister is to quote her words “too traumatised to eat anything from Cooplands again”. I hope this gets picked up and reflected on and that it doesn’t happen to any other Cooplands customers. Avoid. Dishonest/arbitrary pricing trying to take advantage of you. Charged almost 25 GBP for 2 beers and 1 red wine glass.

Ordered via the QR code. Waited half an hour and we hadn't even received drinks. Spoke to a member of staff who told us the order hadn't come through on their end even though I'd received a confirmation email and paymenthad gont through. Then waited a further half hour for the food. Not even an apology for the wait. Not impressed.

Very Disappointed with cafe in Sturry. Staff attitude poor. We picked up sandwiches for toasting and were told that no hot food after 3pm. It was 2 mins past having queued for ages. Also disgusting service in Westwood as limited food and drinks only. When getting hot dri nks told they no longer supply saucers ! ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS

We ordered from “Crystal Mangal” which is what they are now called, you can find them via google maps but wanted to spread the word here too. Great doner kebab, we’ve not had one this good recently and the kebab is served with the salad to the side and you can order sauces separately. Really good quality taste and chunky slivers of doner meat. Highly recommend.

Beautiful coffee, gorgeous food, stunning homemade cakes and fantastic service. What else could you ask for? I love going to this cafe. They never fail to impress me. I would highly recommend this as one of the best cafes in Marple by a mile!

Having been here before, it wasn't to bad. So we went again today Wednesday 28th June. There were only two young men,serving and cooking.and it was out of their control. Service was so slow. And the wait for food was disgusting and when we eventually got our food it was terrible. At least 3 others couples complained and walked out before they were servied thier food. 37 Pepper Street Nantwich really needs some help before it closes down

Came to Edinburgh on a 2-day stint to get a taste of the city. Seen this coffee place as one of the recommended and went in eager to taste. Upon entering, it was an unwelcoming atmosphere. In the brief interaction with one of the guys, he was extremely rude and embarrassed my friend in front of other patrons. We were tourists and visiting a number of places to get a sense of Edinburgh in general, incl. all the different recommended bakeries/coffee shops etc. We were not aware of the 'ONLY SPEND IN OUR SHOP, EAT FROM OUR SHOP' policy they had in place, and so took a snack from a local bakery that we seen recommended. Had we known that he was going to inhospitably call it out infront of everyone and make us feel unwelcome, we would never have went in. From a tourist point, its restrictive and detracts from the overall experience of exploring the area's culinary offerings - maybe the guys should keep this in mind for future given that Edinburgh is a city full of tourists? I should also mention that I initially was going to buy a snack from their cafe, as my friend had their own but I had none, however there was only one non-fresh looking croissant left on display? So we were not even aware they even did snacks. We then sat in uncomfortable silence for the duration, quickly drank the coffee, waited to pay (at least 7minutes) a hefty sum for a tiny coffee. Definitely dont recommend for tourists and will not be back

Qué sorpresa maravillosamente agradable encontrar este restaurante a la vuelta de la esquina de mi air bnb en Kingshurst Birmingham, después de un desastre de una comida de Desi Dera y tener que regalarlo descubrí Jeera y estoy tan contento de haberlo hecho que solo he comido pollo korma, y era delicioso que comí cada morsal, el arroz era ligero y esponjoso y el pollo estaba tan tierno en una salsa korma muy sabrosa y café de cortesía todo por el increíble precio de £ 11. 50 Yo estaba feliz de dar propina también el camarero y el jefe eran muy atentos Yo recomendaría encarecidamente este restaurante Tuve el privilegio de charlar con una pareja de ancianos que comen allí cada semana y nunca han tenido motivos para quejarse que dice mucho de sí mismo.... 10 de cada 10 gracias Jeera si estoy de vuelta en la zona sé dónde voy a conseguir mi comida india ❤️❤️❤️

Great hearty food off the main roads in Clapham. Food all-themed restraint with great, fresh Portuguese food and very affordable. Super service.

This is my second visit to this eatery. Still a super atmosphere, still excellent service. The menu has 'descended' into a more typical NI one. Burgers....... There are limited quality food options. I suppose that is about market demand. Previously some years ago I raved about the daube of beet. Slow cooked, deep rich flavour with perfect texture. The same today is not the same - pale, little stringy and now if I return the menu options are now reduced further. One of my party asked for salad but this was limited to a single leaf type. Please don't let this slide continue. We need places like this, serving affordable quality cuisine.
