The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other european-cuisines food

Mum held her 90th birthday party here. She decided to have a birthday tea and invited 23 friends and family. Sharon and her team listened to mum's preferences regarding food and seating, were so helpful, putting up the banners and balloons. Everything was perfect. The tea was delicious, the sandwiches and scones were divine and don't get me started on the individual cakes. We also had little scotch eggs and sausage rolls, all on proper tiered cake stands. Tea and coffee was served throughout. Thank you Sharon and your team. We made a lot of happy memories. A special thank you to "The Help"!

Like the previous review, we too booked online (on 28th June) and arrived yesterday to find the new owners up to their ears in decorating. They were most apologetic, but Quandoo are still taking bookings. BEWARE!

Visité hoy con 5 amigos de toda Escocia. Viajamos a Glasgow y elegimos The Chip de la reputación. Elegido como las expectativas eran altas, ya que era conocido como el principal establecimiento gastronómico de Glasgow con credenciales icónicas. Toda la experiencia estuvo muy por debajo de la media. Comer en The Brasserie era extremadamente fresco en temperatura. Nos sentamos con bufandas de lana y abrigos puestos durante toda nuestra comida. Cuando le preguntamos a nuestro servidor sobre la temperatura, dijeron que lo arreglarían. Nuestra comida era, en el mejor de los casos, tibia. El plato grande de coliflor estaba frío y fue enviado de vuelta. Fue reemplazado. El agua del grifo se llevó a la mesa en una vieja botella de ginebra Harris con la etiqueta vieja medio arrancada. Nuestro vino (pedimos 2 botellas de Sauvignon Blanc) era espeso con sedimentos. Ninguna botella fue reemplazada. En cambio, como nos quejamos de vidrios individuales, llenos de sedimentos, nuestro servidor trajo reemplazos que eran más pequeños que los vidrios contaminados. Nuestro servidor explicó que el sedimento era común en el vino orgánico (no era orgánico). Para su crédito, cuando discutimos nuestros comentarios con el gerente él aceptó que nuestra experiencia estaba por debajo de la par y nos reembolsó. Nos fuimos sintiéndonos totalmente decepcionados ya que nuestras expectativas eran altas.

First time visiting today after a bit of shopping at the nearby shops. I must say we were very impressed from start to finish. Clear social distancing guidelines set out and staff looked on top form, especially the girl Shanna who looked after us. She was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a pleasurable experience. Food was tasty and portion sizes were spot on. We look forward to visiting again.

Nueve de nosotros vinimos para una cena temprana (8 adultos y un niño de 3 años). El servicio era acogedor y eficiente. Todos pedimos varios platos, todos los cuales eran buenos y puedo recomendar encarecidamente la Margarita del chef.

I have driven by yhis place so much in a lorry and never visited til today .Wow ...what a place , food excellent and staff excellent.I will be back for sure .Enjoyable experience

Unbelievably poor! The food. Almost like it was a bet internally to see what they could get away with. Starter was Pate which resembles phallus on a cold day. Served bizarrely and not edible. Main course. Easily worse. The chicken roast came out and was suspiciously round. On closer inspection it looked like slices of reformed left overs. (It’s since been suggested that Bernard Matthew’s might be responsible for this delicacy). The service. We had toast ourselves. No biggy and it was a nice room. Alarm bells should have rang when we were only the 4th table at 3pm on a Sunday….and the menu was a laminate. The girl who took the order was polite. The bloke who brought the film out was miserable and made no attempt to engage. No one came To ask us if the food was OK and when they took it back afterwards barely touched they never spoke. I have now found out they have a 1 star FSA review and makes total sense. They should be embarrassed for serving such poor food. I am not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from, although I could guess. Eat here at your peril.

Perfectly looked after 30+ of us for a dinner after a long day at Excel. Service was friendly and efficient food was delicious.

La comida es buena, pero las bebidas son demasiado caras. Gran vino más que precio de botella en supermercado. Comida para 2 sin entrante y sin postre ni café. 2 cervezas y 2 vinos de más de £ 90

It’s been 6,7 years we used to go there but last night I had the bad experience ever, nothing was same as we used to eat there portion was too small and price goes quite up now. If they put the price up then they supposed to do the platers like that but the plater wasn’t that good ,will never go there again. According to me I think the food taste is not like they were used to be 😔😔😔 I got embarrassed 😞 in front of my friends who were invited for a dinner there .

The chippy is called Môr Ffein, which google translates to “so fine”. These were much more than the common usage of ‘fine’, these were old school vintage levels of the word ‘fine’, these were the best chips I can remember having ever. They’re like a chip / french fry hybrid with all the best qualities of both. They were even able to accommodate the gluten free, coeliac of the group with a choice of beef or vegan chilli on a jacket potato. Lovely staff, very happy visit.

It was the first time we'd been here on a Sunday and I'm glad we'd booked, as it was very busy. The food was just as good as normal and my roast duck was superb. Well done Goose and Gander for maintaining your high standards.

The Old Theatee Deli is always our go to when in Southwell. The only downside is that there is limited seating inside. The staff are always friendly and the food is of good quality, would recommend!

Estoy decepcionado sobre el servicio al cliente en esta tienda. Llevo 14 años yendo a esta tienda. De hecho, la amabilidad del personal no siempre es de la más alta calidad. Hoy, después de desayunar, pedí otro espresso y fui a tomarlo a la terraza. Había un hombre quitando hojas de los árboles en la terraza de al lado. Uno de los empleados de MADEIRA vino a decirme que me fuera de la terraza porque tenías que limpiar el lugar donde estaba. Le expliqué que me iría rápido, ya que solo tenía que terminar el expreso. Sin embargo, la señora dijo que tuvo que irse de inmediato y llamó al hombre para limpiar ese lugar. Él le mostró que aún no había terminado donde estaba, pero ella insistió en que fuera allí. Me pregunto qué estaba pasando por la cabeza de esa criada...

The Pub is on the ground floor and provides very reasonably priced meals. Can be busy, but the staff are very efficient and helpful.
