I've been here tonight with my husband, it's one of the best place in London. It's felt like I'm actual in the riverside. Thank you for beautiful evening. We definitely gonna come back and recommend for friends.

Pitched up as a walk in, well looked after. Very nice food and a pleasant buzz for a Wed night. There seemed to be at least one Portuguese family there, which is a good indicator for a Portuguese restaurant.

Been coming to Casa Madeira for many years(xmas partys,birthday partys or just simple lunch or dinner and always love this place until today!Celebrating a friend's birthday we were having a lovely time and spending a lot of money when the manager very rudely come to our table at 5,30 and said very rudely you have to leave this table is reserved at 6 o'clock. He clearly has no idea how to approach or talk to customers. We told him he could have spoken to us in another way his answer: what kind of restaurants do you people go to and only portuguese people behave this way......WHAT?????Not only this behaviour is unacceptable he was very racist against his own people as he is portuguese and may i ask why are you working in a portuguese restaurant if you make this kind of comments????After that he keep swearing in English...What the F.....is this????Appalling and needless to say i will never go back and i have recommended this place to a lot of people including my own customers (I,m a restaurant manager myself SR.) well i definitely won't recommend it to anyone. Some advice to you SR.manager have some crush courses with your waiters as they were very polite and professional.

Four of us visited Casa Madeira after a performance at the nearby theatre on the night of a big football match. The main restaurant was full with people watching the match on big screens. We were given a table outside where it was covered and heated and were very comfortable. The waiters were very welcoming, attentive and fun making for a great atmosphere. Drinks and food were served speedily and everything was delicious - special stuffed crab (sapateira),wild mushroom pappardelle and lulas grilhadas (grilled squid) followed by yummy pastel de nata. An excellent choice!

From the outside this restaurant looks really basic and a bit downmarket. However, the food is proper authentic Portuguese and very tasty. Portions are big so there go hungry! Staff are Portuguese and there are a lot of Portuguese people eating in the restaurant which is always a good sign. It feels a bit like being in a restaurant in Lisbon. Definitely worth a visit and we will return.

Amazing experience We went with a few friends not expecting the level and quality of food and service! And amazing value for money.

Food was tasty Portuguese food. Service was fab and the atmophere was luvli,even though it was teaming down with rain.

The food was worthy of 3 star review but the great outside area, cracking waiter, and great music lifted it to a 4. What a great experience dinning here, outside, with me pal, on a lovely warm evening. It felt good to be out. The waiter was great - from Lisbon - was great from start to end. His recommendation for Portuguese red wine hit the spot and we had good craic with the lad all night. We started with chorizo and octopus. Both decent. I had the bass which was overdone and my mate had the piri piri chicken he rated as ‘fine’. Pudding was a cracking coffee and stunning de nata (custard tart) The food was average. The rest of the experience was great. I will return.

This was a great place to eat out it was delicious 100% authentic and good value but some of the food was a few minutes over but it was still delicious 😋

Worst experience ever. The smell from a bad salmon was coming through the box and a take away bag. When returning and confronting, the worker said he ran after us to tell us the salmon was not good. What a nonsense.

Restaurante Casa Madeira, la primera vez que visitamos mi esposa y yo, esperábamos una mejor calidad de comida y servicio. Primero pedimos pan, mantequilla y aceitunas mixtas dos veces, cuando nos traen la segunda ronda de aceitunas mixtas, el camarero no nos preguntó si terminamos nuestro primer plato de aceitunas mixtas, simplemente se lo quitó. . . . hola mesero "yo pago por todas esas aceitunas mixtas bol". Como entrante pido melón y jamón de Parma, mi esposa pide bacalao con crema, pero ni puedo probar ni sentir que la rodaja de papas hervidas debe estar adentro, nos dicen que su cuadrícula es trozos más pequeños. . . . Raro, porque hay que sentir y ver las rodajas de patatas hervidas por dentro al morder, personalmente mi mujer cocina mejor "bacalao con crema a la portuguesa". Pido filete de ternera frito (un trozo pequeño, vi filetes de ternera más grandes en otros restaurantes portugueses aquí en Londres, pero no hablo de solomillo, cuidado) con arroz blanco, papas fritas (chips), huevo frito encima y ensalada ligera de tomates, rodajas de pepino con un poquito de cebollas rojas y lechuga. La botella de vino verde portugués era tan agradable, el bizcocho de crema de galletas estaba tan seco que el bizcocho, también la crema en la parte superior y los trozos de galletas lechosas decoradas por todas partes sabían empapados, no crujientes como deberían ser las "galletas frescas". Invertí casi 90. - No me arrepiento en absoluto. ! ! ! pero también hay que volver a incorporar a los camareros o volver a entrenarlos, porque nadie viene a vernos y tampoco pregunta si cómo estuvo nuestra comida o si la disfrutamos. Pero después de todo, me quejo de todo esto al gerente y fue tan encantador y amable con nosotros, se disculpó por lo que experimentamos y nos ofreció después de pagar la factura 2 cócteles portugueses tradicionales de la isla de Madeira. A cinco minutos a pie de la estación de Vauxhall, el establecimiento consta de tres partes; Bar, restaurante y delicatessen y hay una terraza cubierta bastante grande que es ideal para almorzar tranquilamente en un cálido día de verano o principios de otoño entre semana. El menú es bastante extenso y la selección de vinos es excelente. Decidimos optar por el Seafood Catalpana, un brebaje de mariscos, pescado y arroz para dos personas, guisado y servido en una sopera de barro. La porción fácilmente habría alimentado a cuatro personas, pero no solo la cantidad fue impresionante, también lo fue el sabor y ambos lo disfrutamos mucho. Tomamos una botella de Grao Vasco, un Dao blanco como acompañamiento y algún tiempo después intentamos dos postres. Tuve un Flan de Maracuja (una especie de tarta de queso de maracuyá) que era excelente y abundante. Mi pareja comió Bolo de Bolacha, un pastel de capas a base de galletas digestivas. Sin embargo, esto estaba un poco seco. Terminamos con un café y un aguardente cada uno. Incluyendo un par de botellas de agua y una copa de vino extra, la factura llegó a poco menos de 100. En cuanto al precio, un poco más caro que la mayoría de los restaurantes portugueses cercanos, sin embargo, el personal es informado y acogedor. También están desinfectando activamente las mesas durante este período pandémico, que fue reconfortante de ver. Es casi vergonzoso ir allí y estar expuesto a un servicio de atención al cliente poco profesional.

Restaurant and grocery shop. You can find many many Portuguese products that will make you happy. Very pricey... Restaurant side the starters are amazing! The mains are ok-ish. Friendly staff.

Fomos um grupo que fomos ao restaurante, tivemos um péssimo serviço prestado pelos managers da sala. A sra Ana devia de ter formação para puder estar a atender ao público, e não brigarem durante o serviço, mesmo serviço rasca. Salva se apenas pelo almoço que estava bem confecionado e saboroso, daí as poucas estrelas. Mudem a gerência ou perderão muitos clientes. Muito mau para um restaurante desta dimensão.

Dining alone on a Thursday evening, this place was quite popular with couples and groups. You get charged for the bread basket but it comes with black and green olives and butter and a very tasty anchovy pate. I had the garlic prawns which were tasty especially if you dunked your bread into the sauce. The lamb chops were adequate, the heat was not high enough to sear them but the meat was tender and the serving size was good. I did not want any rice or potatoes and they graciously substituted additional salad served on a separate plate. My server recommended an excellent red fruit cider which was the hit of the evening and I thanked him for his excellent suggestion. All in all, food was competently prepared and tasty.

Portekiz restaurantı olarak ilk deneyimimdi,menüden seçimin pizza oldu ancak pizza beklediğim gibi çıkmadı,malzeme olarak aşırı bol malzeme kullanılmıştı ama hamur çok kalın ve çıtır değildi.Benim tarzım değildi belki bilmiyorum ama arkadaşımda farklı pizza söyledi onunkide benzer şekilde geldi.Bence bu restaurant için Pizza yanlış tercih.

I go to Casa Madeira very often with my kids on Saturdays as we all love the buffet. There is a good variety of local dishes ranging from fish, meat, veggies and seafood. Kids love it and we love it too.

Had breakfast here. Nice quick service, nice food!However a cockroach crawled out from behind a picture on the wall and came toward my table. Unbeknownst to me and my colleagues, the cockroach made its way onto a colleagues coat and came with us back to work! Had to have the carpet chemically cleaned after it was squished.

I had been to Maderia restaurant mid July 2019 and really liked the food. I booked my birthday party here because of this. The house red wine is excellent. After spending considerable time booking a table a week ahead and asking that I and my guests were not sat by the toilet and speaking to the restaurant ahead of my birthday twice several days earlier; when I turned up at the restaurant they sat me right next to the toilet!! The lady Manager clearly didn't understand English v. well as she just kept asking me who I'd booked the table with and after me telling her just kept asking me the same question. I then eventually spoke to a male Manager who did move us to a better table. There was also was mis selling which by that time I had enough of the Manager. By the time I was served my main meal I couldn't eat it due to the male Manager's attitude and treatment of me. It really upset me on my birthday. The house red is excellent but service not great and the Owner needs to review customer service particulary how Manager treat customers. Also don't go there if you have any allergies. I was told allergies would be catered for. They simply don't have a clue.

Casa Madeira is a Portuguese restaurant, café and shop under the railway arches at Vauxhall. The dining room is a bit functional (with 2 large TV screens showing football on our last visit) and reservations often get lost. But the food and wine are decent (with plenty of fish on the menu) and the service is friendly.

Returned here last Sunday for the first time in a couple of years, and weren’t disappointed. The food we had - clams for starters, steak and seafood rice was all very tasty, and we had very friendly service.

I came here just before Christmas with a friend. We both order cod with potatoes and other vegs. The portion was generous and the food ok, although the cod was full of bones. Service is ok although not the friendliest.I would return to try the other items in the menu as plates taken from other customers seems interesting.

I stopped here with a friend for an evening meal. We each had two courses which were fine and have absolutely no complaints about but when the bill arrived I was gobsmacked. It was about £16 more than I’d calculated. Firstly, my friend had been charged for vegetables with his main course that in the menu were included in the price. Secondly, I’d been charged for the wrong dish. I’d ordered salmon pasta not the much more expensive grilled salmon. True, after making a complaint to the manager we got our bill reduced to the correct amount but that’s not the point. These things shouldn’t happen. If you do visit this restaurant my advice would be to check your bill.

Stopped off on way back to our hotel after Remembrance Sunday ParadeNice Mediterranean style restaurant, had a couple of beers, decided to have some lunch with wineFood was fine, good value, lots of families in, quite busy, really good atmosphere.Staff definitely worth a mention, all of them really pleasant and friendly, chatty.Staff then gave us complimentary roast chestnuts and more wine, this years vintage to try.Small service charge added, we doubled it, had a really nice time thereWould go back.Thanks

Good quality food, traditionally cooked, generous portions, genuinely polite and helpful service. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely return. Love the fact there is a deli attached to it.

Good (but not very exhaustive) selections of Portuguese classics and international dishes. A bit too “oily” for an Italian taste. Large portions. Quick and friendly service. Standard prices for central London. Dined there twice.

Llegamos en un día lluvioso para encontrar algo de comida caliente para almorzar y estar al tanto de las noticias de la BBC, ya que hay mucho en estos días en Londres mientras estamos de visita. Estaba abarrotado, todo funcionaba muy rápido, pagamos 2 buffets y obtuvimos el almuerzo caliente que queríamos. Cordero, papas, arroz, pescado, pasta, verduras al vapor, algunas ensaladas frías. El buffet no es demasiado grande, pero obtienes 3 platos diferentes si quieres probar tanto pescado como cordero y pollo. Cálido, fresco, sabe muy muy bien. Cosas amigables La elección de las opciones para llevar es innumerable, y todos los pasteles para un café o té si lo desea.

I was in London for the weekend with a group of 7 and happened to walk by this restaurant which i must say really caught my attention! Was welcomed by the manager named Ana who was very attentive and super kind and recommended us typical Portuguese food (we had a variety of tapas, bacalhau com natas and carne de porco Alentejana) which we loved! Overall it was great customer service by all the staff and will definitely visit Casa Madeira again!

We were 25 friends we went to dinner at this restaurant and we were treated badly.

Very unprofessional member of staff (waiters and manager(Ana) they aren’t helpful at all very rude, the experience was really awful.They aren’t organised, lack of management.We waited way to long for our food and the food wasn’t in a great standard, we were expecting more from the restaurant.(My money wasn’t valued) PS: the restaurant needs to improve dramatically they approach to customers.Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

It was from far the worst night in my life eating in a Restaurant.That Manager Ana thinks she is the last sand in the desert. Thanks to her they lost more than 50 customers in one night and the food was so bad that my friends were crying for some fish and chips after the dinner.If you want to at least enjoy a good night stay away of that place.

Visito este café, ubicado en los arcos debajo de la línea de ferrocarril principal hacia Waterloo, para almorzar con un grupo de amigos la mayoría de las semanas, después de una reunión matutina de juegos. Hay una gran selección de platos calientes, fríos, salados y dulces para elegir, que incluyen sándwiches, desayunos durante todo el día y un bufé de ayuda. Bad from the moment we sat down. It was late afternoon, just past lunchtime rush so wasn't busy, but they ignored us for the first 45 minutes. We had to get our own menus and tried to ask for service three times before anyone came near us. Once we finally placed our orders, it was a long wait even for drinks. When they did bring drinks, they managed to pour a beer over our backs. Accidents happen, but no word of an apology or attempt to assist.Food was slow to arrive, and also dissapointing. Rubbery Chorizo, bland seafood. Tough pork. Overcooked eggs. Maybe we caught them at an off time, but I wouldnt waste your time here.

Vine aquí para cenar con amigos y fue normal. Tuve las bacalhau com natas que lamentablemente era bastante soso en sabor. Definitivamente necesitaba más condimento. Empaqué mucha sal y pimienta mientras comía. Mi amigo tenía la carne alentejana que era increíble. Repleto de sabor, la salsa utilizada era deliciosa. Una visita obligada si voy de nuevo. También pedimos chorizo, que no estuvo genial. Necesitaba ser más crujiente. Todo esto proviene de alguien que es portugués. Awful, dreadful, horrid experience. Please stay away. Not good. Gives Portugal a bad name. So many good restaurants in London to choose from.

Alright portions and prices, ok quality for the price, polite staff. Not too many vegetarian options. Also, they don't tell you before hand that you have to pay for the stuff that is already on the table.

Encontré este lugar mientras buscaba un restaurante alrededor de mi hotel. El personal fue muy amable y acogedor, especialmente después de que descubrieron que hablaba portugués. La comida era muy buena, hasta el punto de que volví 4 días seguidos. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.Todo lo mejor,El ruso que habla portugués.

We had very good service throughout and they couldn't of been more helpful. the atmosphere was warm and friendly. It does live music on certain nights of the week too.

It was my second time visiting this place.

We found this place by accident as we just happened to be walking past during a trip to London. Being lovers of all things Portuguese, we sat down and had a brew, a beer and a snack to keep us going. Great value, typically Portuguese and altogether lovely.

Went for lunch to celebrate a Christening The dishes were made of very traditional Portuguese food and very tasty. Lively atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Really enjoyed my time there.

My favourite Portuguese place to eat and to go for a brunch. Very much enjoyed this place! Maybe because I’m Portuguese :) Dish for 2person looks like for 4people! (That type of place)

Nice cafe on the Embankment. Staff friendly. Snacks and meal easy and reasonably priced. On a nice day you can sit outside. There is also a lovely Deli owned by the same people - if you want to take a treat home.

We called here when changing trains at Vauxhall station. A few minutes walk away. Sat outside and had a pint, the restaurant itself was fairly full and the food smelt fantastic. Probably stay for a meal when i have more time

Came here for some lunch yesterday and its got a fairly decent selection to choose from especially around lunch times and I have to admit it's very reasonably priced for London too.

I went into the cafe this morning for a late breakfast on my own. Firstly, unless you’ve got really good eyesight make sure you take some reading glasses as the menu print is rather small. More importantly, if you take the menu to the front window so you can try and read it in the light, don’t stand in the way of the staff who will push you out of their way.

Este es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Londres. El personal es muy servicial y amable, y la comida es deliciosa. Recomiendo los mejillones, pulpo y picanha (carne portuguesa).

If you want to eat pizza, don't go here. Don't like either when they automatically add the tips on the bill. Would neve tip for this food. 2 stars because the waiters were very polite.

We were absolutely amazed by the quality and quantity of the food. The lobster linguini had half a lobster in it and TOO MANY !!! Prawns ! An excellent meal with great service

This restaurant is no frills place to eat but saying that the I felt I was on holiday ( I was totally sober ) the restaurant was every thing you would find in local friendly restaurant in portugal and staff very pleasant

I had an opportunity to visit this fine establishment tonight. I was very happy with the service and meal! They served us a variety of different breads and spreads. They also offered Mediterranean olives as an appetizer. My dish of fried fish with potoates and eggs was superb. Others in my party had grilled salmon, grilled steak with an egg and others had the clams. Each of us was very happy and satisfied with our choices. They also had some dessert, which looked amazingly good. The hostess and members of her team made sure our visit was memorable and worthy of our visit.Everything was outstanding. I would definitely come again the next time I visit London:)

Yo estaba siendo portuguesa muy decepcionado con el servicio, y de hecho la calidad de la comida era terrible. Fuimos una familia de 8 personas celebrando el día 10 de junio de 2018 Portugal. Casi sentimos que no teníamos nada que celebrar con respecto a nuestra cultura, amabilidad y sobre todo de nuestra cocina.

The food served here is awful. As you can see by the photo it’s more like dog food and it’s over priced. Avoid this place!

Our shuttle service check-in supervisor recommended this restaurant and it was fantastic! We stayed around the corner and this is actually a grocer, deli and restaurant and all are great. If you stay near or in Vauxhall, you'll love the food and service!

The place occupies three arcades under Vauxall viaduct. It may not be very silent (because of the trains passing above) but honestly you don't care when start to eat.

Jantar de grupo tivemos a oportunidade de experimentar diversas entradas e alguns pratos. Tudo muito bom, a qualidade dos ingredientes é muito boa, a carne é excelente.

Bei unserem 4-Tages-Trip in London, waren wir hier jeden Tag frühstücken.

Me encontré con este café en el fin de semana y fue un buen descubrimiento. Muy variado menú (mi amigo tenía un desayuno durante todo el día) incluyendo especialidades portuguesas (yo tenía una mezcla de frutas, el bacalao es especialmente bueno) y precioso (y degustación) tortas y pasteles. No hace falta decir que el flan de higo era encantadora, pero también el pastel de mármol era muy húmeda y sabrosa.

Después de haber disfrutado de nuestra comida en restaurante hermano casa de madeira a pocas puertas de distancia decidimos probar. Como la noche anterior, el restaurante incluye un área de bar de tapas en la parte delantera y la zona de restaurante en la parte trasera, aunque yo diría que es una experiencia menos formal.

Yo clasificaría a mi experiencia en casa Madeira como muy pobre. Primero de todo, tomó mucho tiempo para responder a mi solicitud y luego me cobran más que el precio estipulado en la carta diciendo que durante el fin de semana los precios son "diferentes". Por encima de todo, el director era tranquilo grosero y arrogante.

I had lunch with 2 friends of mine at Casa Madeira restaurant and I was amazed with the food and the service!!! It was my first time at Casa Madeira and I will definitelly come back!!! I really recommend the place!!!

Eu fui bem servida,a comida estava ótima,eu e meu esposo matamos a saudade da espetada muito bem preparada,não gostei do atendimento do garçon, pois quando eu perguntei sobre uma taxa extra no final da conta,ele começou a falar com tom muito alto ao meio ao restaurante, que seria os dez por cento, mas não sei se muita gente sabe?NÓS CONSUMIDORES NÃO SOMOS OBRIGADOS A PAGAR OS DEZ POR CENTO, ele disse que era pra lavagem das toalhas e outros serviços, quando vamos à um restaurante, tudo que comemos e bebemos está incluído,no pagamento dos funcionários,nos gastos do restaurante,é um absurdo um funcionário dizer que era pra isso e gorjeta ainda por cima,gorgeta deixa quem quer e não somos obrigados a deixar gorgeta em estabelecimento algum!!! Fica aqui registrado meu descontentamento com o atendimento

Nice food, nice music, the place is a bit tight. The grilled octopus is delicious. They charge for the bread and spread that you find on the table already.

We were a 12 strong walking group and finished our walk near here, had met the owner last week on the trial run, and although not here today,he had primed the staff and our food and service was excellent.Nothing was too much trouble.

This place is very close to the office, so occasionally I'll have an after work drink (or two) here with friends here on a Friday night. Our repeat custom is more to do with convenience and proximity to Vauxhall tube (and a decent/reasonably priced bottle of red... £12 ish). As far I can see, there isn't much beyond the building's proximity to the Victoria line that would attract repeat custom. The staff (the old guard especially) appear to have forgotten (if they ever knew) the basics skills required to work in the hospitality industry. They are (Basil Fawlty) unfriendly, rude, distracted, and too busy ignoring you to serve you. It's actually quite fascinating to watch how they suddenly find something more important to do when you arrive at the bar to be served! Last night there was three of us, sharing a bottle of red. One ordered a plate of calamari (Calamares a roma) to share. We've had it before - it's usually OK, not especially seasoned or flavoursome, but the batter is usually crispy and hot (the tartar sauce tastes like salad cream), and the rings usually vary in size. Not last night. What the (new friendly/professional) waiter brought us was a plate of pale, warm, unappetizing, uniform (batter free) rings. Two of us tried them - knowing they would taste as awful as they looked - like rubber bands that had been lightly coated in flour and shoved in a microwave (I'm not saying this was how they were cooked, but how they looked like they had been cooked). They were dreadful! How any establishment can serve food like this (and charge £7.00) is disgraceful. What's worse, is that when my friend took the plate back (something he'd never done before) and asked for a refund, he was met with an annoyed, disgruntled waiter who was ill-equipped to deal with a polite customer complaint and simple request. There was no apology, no quick refund - no sense that the "customer is always right", just lots of grumbling, inflexibility to-ing and fro-ing and badgering to convince my friend to have another plate instead. Eventually a refund was begrudgingly given, and we left soon after. A curious place and one I would suggest you try at least once - just to see that I am not exaggerating. In the meantime, I think I'll give them a miss for a while - find an establishment that knows how to treat customers like people who are handing over their hard earned!

Casa madeira a nice little restaurant with a nice atmosphere they had a singer on Friday night which was nice. Food very good and plentiful and value for money

this used to be a great place and huge buffet menu on set days as well. there was something for everyone. the last year or so its gone to hell in a handcart. the food is dreadful and the choice just as bad. My husband is Portuguese and i also speak the lingo, we were speaking it there and ordered food and they refused point blank to speak back to us in Portuguese - even though they were all speaking to each other. the serving staff are rude, the guy on the till for paying very rude and angry with everyone. the food if off the menu is " greasy spoon" level at best. i would just not bother it ever again and walk a few doors down you will get far better.

Para matar saudades de Portugal. Espaço agradável com atendimento simpático. Come-se um pastel de nata e outras coisas mais.

We are regular diners here and went again last night for a family dinner. Waiting staff are very friendly and helpful, and particularly attentive to children. We have chourico and clams for starter, both very tasty. We shared the fish platter which was taste and massive, and the girls shared a bolognese which was also massive. I usually have the steaks which are always very tasty. Really nice atmosphere with music and dancing starting later in the evening. Always a good place for a fun family dinner.

Always good food and great service. Great variety of breakfast and lunch items, both hot and cold. Coffee v good as are selection of panini

Great food at great price. I always go for the buffet when I have the opportunity as I can eat a bit of everything. Definetly recommend this place.

A Casa Madeira tem um comida excelente e o atendImento é maravilhoso. recomendo a todos que queiram conhecer um bom restaurante português em Londres.

Así que este lugar tiene una excelente camareros especialmente el equipo de jóvenes! Es satisfactorio re mucho estilo y diseño simple. Es lo que es. Me refiero..? Esta no es una carta, la verdura es preparada pero no sabor falta y quizás un poco hecha pero fresco. El plato de pescado tenía una salsa y una buena aunque una pieza de pescado era fina. Las patatas fritas son patatas fritas. El vino es de un gran valor.

Cordial bienvenida era el mejor. Tan pronto como estás sentado te dan pan, pasta de aceitunas y cheapo pescado paquete sobre la mesa, lo cual está bien si no eres, pero estás y no esté sencillo. La presentación era deficiente. Una enorme desagradable poco hecha (no solicitado) T-bone, con un montón de partes incomibles no era muy apetecible.

Esta es una joya escondida a cinco minutos del metro Vauxhall. Encontré por casualidad durante la estancia en un hotel cercano y no me decepcionó. Perfectamente refrigerados lager, el fútbol en pantalla plana y una perfección T-bone. Maravilloso. Esto es un lugar familiar con una buena relación calidad-precio y una cálida bienvenida. Hora de salida el kebabs de ternera bien merece la pena ir.

Mi arranque de mi mujer estaba muy buena, pero mi salchichas eran grasos y sólo creo que aparecen los flambeados en la mesa. El pescado a la parrilla fue excelente. Los precios del vino eran un poco altas, pero tuvimos una buena botella de vino fino de la lista por £24. El servicio era variable no ayudado por un argumento en otra mesa cuando algunas personas decidieron que era gratis cuando se había reservado

Loved this place. Service was a bit hit and miss. But worth going for the food. Sea food is amazing. Mushroom started was like tin mushrooms. But over all worth going.

We had breakfast here during our stay in London, as not happy to pay the £20 or so for a hotel breakfast . There is a very wide choice of breakfasts, well cooked and served.

Eu e o meu namorado estavamos so a procura de um sitio para beber uma cerveja portuguesa, mas a simpatia foi tanta que ficamos para jantar. Para nos foi como se tivessemos em casa, o jantar estava maravilhoso, as porcoes sao enormes, os precos sao acessiveis. Voltamos la no dia a seguir para jantar e ver o jogo, existe musica ao vivo ao sabado a noite e ainda voltamos la no domingo para comprar algumas coisas para levar para a Escocia.

Múltiples encontramos pelos en la comida e incluso de nuevo cuando se hizo una "nueva sección". No estoy seguro de pelos si eran humanos o animales. No disculpa de gestión y todavía espera que pagar el precio completo por el plato. Tamaños de porción y sosa. Lo único bueno es que el personal era agradable. Hay restaurantes mucho mejores portugueses en la zona. No recomendaría este restaurante y no volveremos.

Smaller portions than the other Portuguese restaurants in the area. The Espetada is supposed to come with vegetables as indicated on the menu but none were offered unlike in other restaurants. Average quality of food and service. Will not be returning.

Siempre he querido probar el buffet de almuerzo - 8 libras. 50 para una buena selección de carne/pescado/mariscos y pastas, ensaladas y decente por £5. 50. Me dijeron que podía ir al buffet dos veces. También hay una variedad de ensaladas y sándwiches. Una cesta de pan y mantequilla para mi grupo. No soy experto en comida portuguesa pero yo estaba feliz con el pescado, marisco y carne. Yo no tuve ninguno de los postres, he encontrado que en todos los cafés portugueses localmente, tienen buena pinta, pero a menudo son muy sosas y frías de la nevera.

3 realmente es injusto dado el triunvirato que hacen de este lugar lo que es. Una estupenda cafetería, el restaurante y la tienda. La comida es buena y auténtica. Los precios baratos. Por lo que promete y ofrece es un 5, pero la mayoría no nos molestaría porque no parece el prt bajo los arcos del ferrocarril.
