Excellent coffee. Very cheery welcome and instantly felt relaxed. A lovely buzzing atmosphere and good music. As soon as you go into GTBAL you will feel welcome. Such a great cause too! Thank you so much. :)

A direct message has already been sent to this place about my experience and no response has been received as yet (nearly 2 weeks later). First of all this place used to be great…great coffee, friendly staff, great food. With this in mind, my friend and I thought Cafe Rio would be a cosy place for our heart to heart chat, Now on entry it smells and feels grubby. My initial Americano was bitter and filmy on top, just awful so I sent it back, this was replaced with a much smoother cup. My friend and I ordered the breakfast Cinnamon toast with bacon and maple syrup for £6.95. It arrived: and how disappointing -two pieces of bread, two tiny pieces of streaky bacon and a bowl of syrup. The bacon was over cooked and black in places and the bread was completely soggy and soaked in grease and syrup. We both felt sick after attempting to eat half of it, so we left it and carried on with our chat. On leaving we both decided we would privately message the place about the standard of food and see what the response would be, rather than just leaving a bad review on here. As yet neither of us has even received an acknowledgement of our complaint let alone a personal response. It’s a shame as I felt this was a place you could rely on.

Friendly staff. However despite their being lots of information about allergies on posters and signs unfortunately the chef was not available that day to manage food for anyone with an allergy and so our friend had to leave and eat somewhere else . The food we had was okay. Better that they were honest rather than risk an allergic reaction.

A group of 6 stayed for one night on business. We were greeted with superb and friendly staff on the front desk and bar. Our evening meal was lovely with no complaints. I would highly recommend the lasagne and chips but more so the onion rings. They also served a lovely Pinot Grigio. Had a very comfortable night in this older hotel. It wasn't modern but very homely. We even had a continental breakfast set for us at 0530 in the morning on request and again the gentleman was lovely and very accommodating. A lively lonely feel with impeccable and friendly customer service. I would definitely stay here again on business or pleasure.

OK....first of all you need to know that I made this review several years ago and just now realized that I had posted it to the WRONG Greyhound....my bad. Here is my review as posted.........Spent a night across the street at The Mariner Hotel after missing the ferry to Ireland down at Pembroke. Not sure where to eat so we stumbled across the street to The Greyhound Hotel for a bit of bar food. Started out in the pub that had a half dozen or so locals there drinking ale and watching football. I bought a round for the boys and the party was on. Very friendly and fun bunch of blokes that the wife and I very much enjoyed meeting and spending time with. After a couple of beers we went upstairs for a bite to eat, and the experience could not have been better! We both had the fish and chips, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best meals I have ever had, and the price (about 8 pounds) was to die for (see photos), The fish was fresh, the batter was wonderful, the mushy peas were fresh and flavorful and the chips? Well they were hot and fresh and more than we could eat. The couple running it (he cooking and she serving) were a hoot, The place is very small and probably seats no more than 20 but several tables were filled with locals, and they were all very friendly and open. One of the highlights of our trip. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g658255-d3810256-r163165846-The_Greyhound-Carshalton_Surrey_England.html#

We went here for lunch and thought this cafe looked good from the outside. We are vegetarians so vegan food appeals to us. There was a good amount of space in the cafe, it had a relaxed atmosphere and the owner was very friendly. There was a good range on the menu, however I would have preferred to read the menu of a traditional card and not a tv screen as I felt we didn’t have enough time to muse through the food choices. Unfortunately, when we got our food (soup) it was not warmed through properly which obviously wasn’t great. I think this place has great potential but the final attention to detail isn’t there. We left feeling disappointed by the food but glad to see a vegan cafe on the high street in Haverfordwest West.

Visited today with my daughter. Table was sticky so I wiped it myself. She enjoyed her pizza. Poor attempt at a healthy side though with awfully cut cucumber & tomatoes rammed into a ramekin. My curry was tasty, rice was cold, poppadom was soggy, naan bread ok but tough. Onion bhajees and samosa sides were cold & not worth the extra. Drinks finally arrived halfway through our meal. When we finished our meal we used the ladies before leaving. I am appalled at the state of the facilities. The sinks were covered in black/pink slime. The toilet bowls were the same and some had what appeared to be vomit splattered around the bowls. The light fittings were thick with dust. The windows were covered in mould. I was on my way to an appointment so I didn't have time to wait to see a member of staff as the bar was busy so I thought I would e-mail to report this. That is when I discovered that there is no way to submit a complaint with photos, so here they are.

Absolutely the worst cafe meal I've ever had. Sunday lunch £8. It was basically Aunt Bessies frozen everything, which must have been microwaved from frozen on the plate. Carrots and parsnip were so hard I couldn't cut them, the stuffing ball was still frozen and so was the base of the mash! Roast potatoes were horrible, doubt they'd been near a real oven and gravy was brown water. Sorry Morrisons but if you can't ever heat microwave mash properly... It's really better not to!
