This is a diamond of an eating place. It's located just off the main through road and has excellent parking opposite. I had a salad from at least 21 freshly displayed items and it was one of the best I've ever had; and I'm a foodie! The owner is putting her heart and soul into this place and local businesses are collecting her magnificent baguettes to keep their staff happy. If you are anywhere near Llandeilo then go to Mrs Brown's. You will not be disappointed.

Called for coffee and cake. The scones that were served looked awful, they appeared to have collapsed in the oven. I wouldn't have served them personally. The scones were very cold as if they had been defrosted so I asked for them to be warmed. They were returned very quickly but this made no difference., they were still chilled., tasteless and dry. Certainly not worth £5 odd. Its a shame, hope the Cawdor which has always been so reliable does not deteriorate.

The best breakfasts in Llandeilo, the menu is varied and there’s sure to be something there for even the fussiest of eaters. We’ve eaten here a number of times and the food and friendly service has been superb every time. Highly recommended, if you’re in Llandeilo and unsure where to eat, this is THE place to go 👍👍

We ordered the halloumi open sandwich. Really looking forward to it, but really disappointed when it arrived on a small plate with 3 pieces of halloumi on a piece of TOAST with a few salad leaves and cabbage. £11.50! Absolute rip off. We won’t be returning.

If you’re looking for a warm Welsh welcome, you won’t find it here. Service with a smile is not on the menu. However if you want worthy ideals and hand-baked artisan goods at London prices, this is the place for you. I’m all in favour of sourcing locally and doing things properly, BUT when you are in a service industry, that does not mean you can get away with unhelpful staff who give the impression that they have better things to do than serve you. The location is good and the ambiance pleasant. My husband’s toasted cake, yoghourt and fruit were good, as was the small Viennese fancy which I had - paid extra - because they had only one croissant left to put in my Bakery Basket. The croissant I did have was very brown and rather tough, though the flavour was fine. There was a decent helping of good butter, though the homemade jam didn’t impress. No toasties were available for my friend at 2pm. All in all, I felt we paid through the nose for food served by young staff who would have preferred to be elsewhere. Perhaps the management could try more staff training. A smile costs nothing and goes a long way.
