The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South Wales

We went for Sunday lunch and they managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. The food was seriously good, best Sunday roast lamb I've ever had. Really warm, friendly pub with great walking from the pub. Lovely view over the church and beyond from the garden too. Really looking forward to coming back

Bread to thick for cheese on toast

I have eaten at many places for a Sunday roast meal. None of them can touch the one we had here. My partner booked us in, as she did hear they did an amazing roast dinner, she wasn’t far wrong! On arrival we were shown to a lovely table over looking the large family dining table, stone walled chimney and a beautiful log burner. I ordered the pork belly bites which were as lovely. Perfect starter portion size too. We had was very lucky as the roast lamb had just finished cooking. I must say the Roast Lamb Sunday meal was outstanding. Perfectly cooked accompaniments and even a side of extra gravy (must add, at no extra cost) I am a well travelled individual that’s eaten at some great places. The roast dinner here is definitely the best I have had. The top star of the show was the outstanding gravy. This deserves an award! I had to speak to chef to say well done for an amazing meal I had just experienced. What an amazing young chef, Jo hats off to you and thank you for coming out to say a quick hello. Well done to Gail and Molly too, thank you for a pleasant afternoon. I will definitely be back for an evening meal and definitely another Sunday Roast Dinner. 10/10

Lovely setting, great food, and catered for 10 of us for a family celebration. Chloe was so helpful and flexible. We had two "chefs" with us, and both were impressed!

Beautiful venue for a wedding and other occasions. Good amenities. Recommend any time.

Always try to call in here when in Abergavenny. Lovely vibe in here, background music. Fantastic coffee and always a different selection of interesting cakes (though would be nice to have some not too heavy on the icing). Look forward to our next visit.

Claire supplied cupcakes and mini cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding on Friday. We wanted a particular theme and what she produced was perfect and they tasted delicious. Nothing was too much trouble despite only ordering a few weeks before the big day! Thank you Claire you are a star !

I really enjoy getting baguettes and brownies from fresh start after I do the school run. Everything is freshly made , they fill the baguettes right up. I do find it’s a little expensive but that doesn’t stop me from returning. The girls are nice and friendly , there’s quick and efficient service and a lovely show of brownies, cookies and other cakes also

A genuinely brilliant little find in the heart of Whitchurch on Merthyr road. Everything is gluten free and tasted fantastic (my partner is Coeliac, I'm not). Great service too

Really Fancied a panini this morning. Headed down here and had the chorizo chicken and cheese panini. Was absolutely lush. Josh and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lovely hot chocolate too. Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. Well worth a visit

Food and service is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s very good sometimes it’s very bad

I am a non vegan. I didn't enjoy the burger and facon. Mushroom and bun was nice. The rest of the menu looks good. Will stick to actual vegetables next time. I know many people enjoy meat alternative patty's so don't let it put you off as it's presented well.
