The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South Wales

Caffi ambr provided the buffet for my husband's wake. The service, the food and the price was excellent and all guests commented on the variety and the way it was organised. I can highly recommend.

Wow wow wow!! We went for the supper club event last night and it was absolutely delicious. The theme was vegetarian and vegan, the food was out of this world. We arrived and had a cocktail in the front cafe area then we were taken through to a beautifully prepared table in the dining area. One long table and guest were sat in a banquet style all together. Brilliant idea 💡 really sociable. When the food started to arrive, there were sighs of happiness all round. We had foccacia, delicious tomato salad, arincini, homemade gnocchi,fennel, goats cheese and peach salad. And lots more I can’t remember (sorry chef!). Oh yes a cauliflower cake which was delicious too. Pudding was a trio of cakes, served with a glass of dessert wine. The staff were super friendly and just in the right job, people focused, finny and charming. Our fellow diners were lovely, fascinating people too. I wish I had taken more photos but I was enjoying the food too much. The whole evening was fabulous and we will definitely be back. Thank you 🤩

Fills me with sadness to write this review… this has always been great since my parents went here in the 50’s. Visited last year and we had a warm friendly welcome with great service and good food…. Sadly after many decades the cafe is under new ownership and after our visit on Saturday with my parents who are now in their 80s I realise this will be our last….. service was awful coffee was served cold… food was barely warm and poor! Avoid avoid avoid!

While its in an unusual building on the edge of a business park this is a breakfast place you really do need to try. My wife and I are seasoned travellers and have enjoyed excellent beakfasts across all 50 US states but we have never had such quality pancakes and fruit outside of the US until now. Foodology to their credit clearly take great care in sourcing and cooking their ingredients. All dishes are prepared fresh and the care taken shows in the taste and presentation. Highly recommended.

Das Café ist im Buchladen integriert und befindet sich im 1. Stock. Selbstverständlich kann man sich Bücher zum Schmöckern mitnehmen. Die Kuchen und der Kaffee waren lecker. Herzhafte Speisen gäbe es auch.

Popped in this place during my lunch break and I ordered a spicy Naga Wrap and I have to say it was awesome, and grabbed a Jammie Dodger Milkshake to go with it, and I have to say they have the best shakes in Cardiff by far.... great food, great shakes.

Located in a church with imited car parking on site. Smallish menu but lovely food. Very friendly service. Very busy when we visited.

Drinks are served in large cups. Good value for money and their toasted sandwiches are good as well.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while out cycling. Their paninies were really good and they were happy to amend the filling slightly to suit my taste. Service is really good and very friendly. The cakes and pasties looked good as well but I wasn't sure I'd be able to cycle home if I indulged so I resisted. They have a good choice of hot and cold drinks as well and they make a very nice cup of tea.

I passed by this church café today while on a coach trip around Wales. Delicious chicken curry and a warm welcome. If you are in Abergavenny do drop in.

Slice is one of the cutest cafes I've come across. Their selection of handmade sandwiches, cakes and pastries is so hard to choose from whenever I go in, but I'm never disappointed with my choice. It's a real treat to chat to the friendly staff who let me take my time to decide and serve customers quickly. There's a great range of treats for almost every diet and the staff know plenty about their products to be able to advise on allergens.

This bar is a ever so friendly bar and the staff and management team are ever so friendly it's well worth you're time to go and enjoying you're evening if you're staying in the area for a nice relaxing quiet night out
