Slice is one of the cutest cafes I've come across. Their selection of handmade sandwiches, cakes and pastries is so hard to choose from whenever I go in, but I'm never disappointed with my choice. It's a real treat to chat to the friendly staff who let me take my time to decide and serve customers quickly. There's a great range of treats for almost every diet and the staff know plenty about their products to be able to advise on allergens.

¡Un parpadeo y lo pasarás! Delicioso café con una buena variedad de pasteles y salados de calidad. El 'jardín oculto' al lado es una hermosa trampa para el sol: los peces (¿koi?) Son un detalle extravagante. La acogedora cabaña ofrece una buena variedad de vinos y cervezas de calidad, etc., pero solo está abierta durante horas restringidas. El personal de guardia cuando visitamos fue muy acogedor y se rió a carcajadas gracioso! Justo lo que necesita en un lluvioso sábado por la tarde después de una "experiencia" en el tren Transporte para Gales.

I can't rate the food coz I only had coffee. But it was quiet during the rugby. It was the only place I could find where I could read a book. Just what I needed when I was tired and needed coffee.

10- 11 Mill LaneLovely food ,gave us an eye pad for allergies, inattentive service . Didn’t pay any service charge. Mentioned it was a birthday on booking but no recollection during the meal. Worst service at any Cote I have been too Last time was Bath and they were amazing with nut allergy. Pretty disappointing overall

Excalibur Drive Thornhill ChurchLocated in a church with imited car parking on site. Smallish menu but lovely food. Very friendly service. Very busy when we visited.

29 Queen StreetI’m not a local but the cheese and tomato toastie I had was the best I’d ever tasted. Well done. The coffee is very nice also and the place is quite cozy.

198 City Road, Cardiff CF24 3JG WalesA great dessert spot with a vast selection, plenty of seating or can get a plate of baklava/Syrian sweets to takeaway. Service is fantastic and you're always greeted with smile. One of my favourite places in Cardiff without a doubt.
