Located in a church with imited car parking on site. Smallish menu but lovely food. Very friendly service. Very busy when we visited.

I recently visited this café which not only served a variety of breakfast and brunch options but also offered what I can confidently say was the best coffee I had during my time in Cardiff. I opted for a black Americano, but it was clear they took their coffee seriously, with an evident dedication to quality that shone through in every sip. The beans were expertly brewed, resulting in a rich, well-balanced flavour profile that highlighted the nuances of the coffee without being overshadowed by bitterness. It’s refreshing to find a place that genuinely cares about the craft of coffee-making. The atmosphere of the café complemented the experience beautifully. With its vintage chairs, wall-mounted artwork that added an artistic touch, and an overall relaxed décor, the space had a distinct hipster vibe that made it inviting. It’s the perfect setting for enjoying a good coffee, whether you’re looking to engage in conversation with friends or simply unwind with a book. If you’re in Cardiff and searching for a place that values quality coffee in a charming environment, this café is definitely worth a visit.

Went for a drink on Saturday afternoon, and for a second time NO real Ale just lager, James and Vicky assured me they would be correcting this months ago despite this being my very local pub I will not be returning

A booking for 4 had been made following our visit to take the 'Pobol y Cwm ' set tour. We were greeted on our arrival snd taken to our table. We were given time to peruse the menu and ordered a bottle of delicious house wine. We all gave our choices from the menu and we were waited on and looked after very well. The food was delicious and will definitely return.

After an afternoon in Cardiff, this place was our go to stop off for a quick refreshment before going back to the car and home. How things have declined of late. The only dairy and gluten free item for my wife was an unappetising, feeble flapjacky sort of thing measureing in at about a quarter of an inch thick. Ok, they still do the hot chocolate made with oat milk or soya for my wife, and I'm pretty well catered for with a good selection of coffees and cakes, but I mean....big deal, I can go anywhere for those. She can't. They used to have a reasonably good selection of items for people with food intolerances, even the sandwiches, but it's as if, now, they just can't be bothered. A pity. We are going to try that new place in Queen Street that cater for ALL dietary needs. Let's see how we get on. Coffee #1, you've lost the plot and two loyal customers. Well, you'll be pleased to know that in the 3 years since my last scathing review, my wife and I went back purely out of desperation. Things have not improved.
