If you're looking for a truly unique and delightful afternoon tea experience, look no further than this charming, Highland cow-themed afternoon tea! From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with a warm, rustic atmosphere that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the highland surroundings, with incredible views of Loch Ness. But the real stars of the show, aside from the delicious food, are the adorable Highland cows you'll get to meet and feedâan experience that made the day feel truly magical. I fell in love with them all! Now, onto the food: everything is homemade, and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The homemade sausage rolls are nothing short of perfectionâflaky, buttery pastry with a savory filling that's so flavorful itâs hard to stop at just one. Then thereâs the Monte Cristo toasted sandwichesâcrispy, golden bread with a perfect balance of sweet and savory that had us talking about them all evening. Each dish felt thoughtful, fresh, and made with top-quality ingredients. And of course, no afternoon tea would be complete without freshly baked scones. These scones were simply divineâlight, fluffy, and served with generous helpings of clotted cream and jam. The home baking really shines, too, with a selection of treats that perfectly capture the spirit of the place, including the most charming Highland cow cupcakes! Each one was not only adorable but also moist, rich, and absolutely delicious. What we also loved about our time was there was no rush or pressure, it's not about turn over here, it's a homely and relaxing environment to be and all served at a lovely leisurely pace. Thank you Isla and the family for making us feel so at home! After reading a few negative reviews before our visit, I can only assume some people are simply impossible to please! Every part of the experienceâfrom the food to the Highland cowsâwas fantastic, and it's clear the staff go out of their way to create a memorable afternoon. Honestly, I canât imagine how anyone could leave here without a smile on their face. Itâs a rare find where both the food and the ambiance work together to create something truly special. For anyone looking for a little whimsy, a lot of flavour, and a chance to get up close with some of Scotlandâs most iconic animals, this is an absolute must! Hearts and tummies will both go away full and smiling đ

The deli has become a regular stop for coffees, cakes, or lunches. The food is always great, there are loads of options available and daily specials. Good selection of drinks too, including local beers. Staff are always friendly and attentive, creating a really welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend Ness Deli for a stop in the village.

I called in here for a coffee on the way home from the airport and have been bounced by a demand for a ÂŁ100 fine from Britannia Parking for missing the parking ticket machine, in the dark on a rainy evening. I won't be calling again.

the rooms are clean, but the price list for the restaurant is cheaper in the room, if you want to sit directly in the restaurant, the food is more expensive. The cheaper price list only applies to takeaway. If you are a hotel guest, you are disappointed.

Staying in Drumnadrochit for the weekend. Called the Benleva Hotel Restaurant on Saturday evening and booked a table for the following evening. When we arrived for dinner, the lady seemed surprised to see us and told us that the restaurant was closed. Very disappointing - we wonât be back.

We came in July for a birthday lunch out. It was lovely from start to finish! I had the most tastiest fish goujons and chips and curry sauce! So much so, I've been back a couple of times for them. We sat outside and ate out lunch in the glorious Scottish sunshine. What a beautiful setting in is to have lunch, followed by a wander along the canal.

The restaurant had great views overlooking the loch. The staff was friendly but mostly inattentive. They forgot about our drinksâŠincluding tap water for the table. The risotto swimming in oil. Filet was just ok. Chips were good. Maybe stick with seafood. The Hoppy Ness IPA was good. Overall, just ok.
