The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Visited today for dinner, and although the food was decent, the service and hygiene is terrible ( with the exception of the young boy with the glasses). The possible manageress, female about 60 with black hair in a bun, has zero customer service skills, as is the same with the other two quite large build males floating about. Was there for over an hour, and never had any engagement with any of these three, no hospitality skills anywhere. Seen multiple people come and go, and never seen a table get wiped and cleaned with a spray between guests ( really bad in these modern times), and the outside patio is filthy and really needs a good brush. This is really not from today. Dont think it will happen any time soon, as I just think they are bone idle, and dont care or want to be there. Large seats and couches in the garden area, but not a cushion in sight. Never experienced anything like it, however at least the chef appears to do a decent carvery.

Really nice fellow working yesterday afternoon who made me my first deep fried mars bar. Appreciated the warm welcome and chat!

Delicious food, loved the haggis croquette! The restaurant is very much in the city center, so we just walked next to it and decided to try it out, would recommend!

Went in on a cold and dreich day but it wasn't long until we warmed up due to the really friendly service...we only tried the cakes and tea and coffee but what we had was amazing especially the french fancies...they were no Kipling things, these were homemade and huge about six times the size of a Kipling one with fresh cream and soft gooey icing and such pleasant and friendly owners. Such a rarity.

This is now Slug & Lettuce,great for afternoon cocktails at discounted hours,also had the Mixer app which is part of chain group,I usually use at the Howgait bar,it has great savings,and sometimes offer free drinks like May bank holiday drink of the month🩷great for students and offering of loyalty points which helps. Great bar staff and great atmosphere.

Two lovely fish and chips for £13.50. Nice staff and a great outside eating area. What's not to love ? We eat here a lot and will be back.

Spent the whole time while having coffee closing the front door as it stays open unless physically shut. In general people do NOT close the door after them. The door was replaced recently and never closes automatically. Please fix this. Thank you.

I hired Crumbs to do all catering for my husbands 60th birthday party last weekend. I can't thank Donna and David enough for arriving with all the hot and cold food at the time I requested. I asked Crumbs to cater for approx 60/70 friends and family. It ended up over 100 friends arrived at our home. There was plenty of food for everyone and I received many compliments for the caterer. I'm only sorry I forgot to take a picture before I opened the buffet but I'm hoping either Donna or David took a picture as it was a fabulous buffet. Well done and many thanks to Crumbs x

Seats and carpets are a bit tired but the selection and prices are great. Table service with the app works well. Food is cheap but not bad.

Just been in with my family for lunch the new decor and menu are brill I would highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed Leanne served me so thanks for the great service

La señora que trabajaba el 18 de mayo con el pelo pelirrojo era excepcionalmente grosera. Le pregunté qué refrigeradores estaban disponibles y ella dijo “No sé, hay unos 3000 de ellos. Solo mira la pantalla” así que esperé y había 4 opciones así que 3000 fue ligeramente exagerado. Señora extremadamente grosera que no debería estar trabajando con los clientes y debería aprender el menú.

The Black Bull is no more. The Bull was a decent wee auld man's boozer, handy for the station and with a decent pint too. It wasn't the best looking pub, but will be missed. 'Kentigerns', as it's now called, still does a decent pint and they've upgraded the decor. Full of students now, no atmosphere. Jury's out for now.

Big barn of a place, so it was a bit on the cool side, but worth a visit for their great selection of beers and ales.
