Unfamiliar with Glasgow, I was on the hunt for an artisan coffee, went to investigate black sheep coffee first and immediately turned around when I saw it was a rehashed Starbucks. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place and was not disappointed! Both the flat white and espresso was incredible!

Even if you're not an architect, you'll be able to appreciate the beauty of what was created by both Charles Mackintosh and his wife Margaret. Heather, our guide was very informative and gave credit to Margaret, rightfully, for the design details within the Tea Room. It was the best 2 hrs spent.

This is a lovely place. The decor is plain but it works making everyone feel comfortable. The food is delicious and good value for money. Right next to the Uni so it always has a nice atmosphere/ buzz to it. However young and old(er 🤪) people frequent the place. A good place to socialise.

Nous y sommes allés pour prendre un verre. Très bruyant malgré le peu de monde, service un peu long, alors si il y avait pas grand monde.

I had a delicious flatbread pizza and my husband had a burger. We shared Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. The atmosphere was clean, upbeat and friendly. The food was incredible...especially dessert...absolutely outstanding. I was impressed with the alcohol free cider as that is not even a selection available in my state yet. Amazing service and withing walking distance of our hotel.

Visited last night. As always excellent service. New menu with lots of choice. Ginger the chef is excellent .Food of highest quality accommodates requests and the food is beautifully presented. Can never find fault with the food here and amazing value for money.

I went here for a sandwich for lunch to take away. I didn’t have a good experience on a previous occasion, but I decided to give it another try and I wish I hadn’t bothered. I ordered a sandwich and a piece of cake and the person that served me charged me £9.25. I asked the person not to bother with the cake as it was far too expensive. A man behind the counter said “Give the lady the cake” and charged me £7.25. He was extremely pushy and I ended up with cake I didn’t want. I didn’t want to create a scene in the place, so I left. I went back to my office to have lunch. The sandwich was awful. The bread was hard, a small slice of cheese and two slices of tomato which had seen better days. The cake was hard around the edges. As this was the second time I had visited with not very pleasant results, I will not be back. It’s far too expensive for what you get.

Hard to say but the food here is so lacking, the venue is full of classy surroundings and settings (conveniently close to home) but the food is just lazy. The starters was prawns..just over done and full of smoked paprika, mines was belly pork, just far too fatty in proportion to eat, accompanied by just cubed black pudding?? lazy. The mains to keep it short was dry chicken, smelly monk fish and tough so much that could be fixed. Im holding back as I do love the rest of the place.

1st time here while visiting our daughter who lives nearby and we'll be back. 2 4 1 macaroni on a Monday night and possibly the best macaroni cheese I've had out. Lovely bits of crispy bacon through it. Nice atmosphere all-round.
