Great value set lunch, food was delicious and flavourful, good ambiance and exceptional service.

We had an incredible experience at this place! Their signature cheesecake and the exceptional quality of matcha were both outstanding. Every bite was pure delight. The service was exceptionally polite and attentive, making the overall dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Fantástica experiencia. Había solicitado una mesa de esquina en línea debido a las dificultades auditivas de mi madre. El encantador pesebre de turno nos asignó la cabina más encantadora junto a la ventana que estaba muy agradecido. Nuestro camarero para la noche fue increíble. Creo que se llamaba Katie. Fue tan dulce con nosotros. Realmente aprecio su amabilidad con nosotros, particularmente con mis dificultades de salud de mamá. El karma siempre regresa para bendecir a aquellos que lo merecen. Comida encantadora, ambiente encantador y sin duda volveremos.

Came in to buy ground coffee, lady on staff did an excellent job helping me find the right one. Was so impressed I had to buy a takeaway coffee which was delicious, chap on barista duties got it just perfect.

We had coffee on one day (and cake!!) and returned the next day for lunch. All seemed to be home cooked and quite delicious. It's great fun having the books as well, especially if you are looking for a gift.

Had a FANTASTIC time at The Black Ivy. The room was beautiful with a fabulous view over the park. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Food was delicious, can’t wait to come back and stay. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone!

In the weekend, expect a long queue, especially if it's sunny. It's just next to Blackford Hills which is popular for walks so this is the pit stop for visitors. The coffee is good, somewhere else I wouldn't queue for it but it's got a great location. Lots of dogs too!

Felt a lot better after a funeral to meet everyone over cups of tea and sausage rolls. The weather was sunny and views were spectacular. A great send off helped by discrete but attentive staff

Cafe Blush is an amazing place to relax and enjoy delicious food, especially the Eggs Benedict. The service is incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and inviting.

Well stocked, good prices, tasty food, great choice of tables and terrain, friendly faces and conversation.

Oh wow! We thought it’ll be nice to have dinner in a restaurant instead of going to a pub! High hopes however the battered cod & chips was tasteless and pretty oily¿ How can a simple dish fail In a hotel restaurant! Never again

Llevo años viniendo a este café y ahora estoy en el punto en el que no volveré. Estoy tan cansada de la grosería que encuentro cada vez que voy. Sería malo no importa cuáles sean los precios pero si estoy gastando 4. 50 por un bocadillo espero al menos una sonrisa y un saludo, o el cielo no permita un agradecimiento. Rara vez tengo contacto visual, nunca hay una sonrisa, los servidores están constantemente en su teléfono o hablando entre sí ignorando a los clientes. Un día me rendí y me fui porque no me podían atender. Hay un soderburg expreso a la vuelta de la esquina y el caballero allí muestra un excelente servicio al cliente. Él siempre es educado y acogedor y como resultado tiendo a gastar más dinero con él. El servicio en las praderas es absolutamente terrible como resultado de que no volveré a ninguno. Hay una cafetería que acaba de abrir al lado, así que ahorraré mi dinero para ellos.

This place is a shambles. Absolute chaos. No one seems to know what they are doing. Running about all over the place. Took ages to order. Took ages to get our order. Then they forgot our drinks. Everyone working there seemed to be taking orders, dealing with the orders, taking payments, clearing tables. Chaos reigns. Watching other tables, you could see it was a similar experience for them. Kitchen staff left at 8 on the dot. Shouting cheerio. Have a great weekend to the other staff. Music playing in the kitchen but not in the cafe but loud enough so everyone could hear it. The ice cream is nice but this whole set up should be much, much better. Luca's is an Edinburgh institution. What a mess.
