Just very very basic food, tasted EXACTLY like cheap super market curry sauce, and a very small portion, for £16.50. Just feels like a scam, very insulting

Highly recommended! The food tastes great, and the people who work here are very friendly. If you live in Edinburgh it is definitely worth a visit :) The atmosphere is also cozy and the food is neatly prepared. My tip is a sharing plate😋 Please note that you can only pay with cash, but you have an ATM in the street so that is no problem.

Back in August we booked a wine tasting for a 30th birthday party and had a fabulous experience. Jonathan went above and beyond and ensured smooth planning throughout. The wine selection was really well thought out, and we got to try some new wines we wouldn't have tried before. Jonathan's story-telling and knowledge of the wines and vineyards was exceptional. Everyone at the party really enjoyed it (even the non-drinker was well looked after), would highly recommend it for a function! We'll absolutely be back.

I had the pleasure of dining at MITSOS tonight, and it was nothing short of exceptional! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, reflecting the vibrant charm of Greek culture and a lovely and cozy environment. The food was absolutely divine – every dish was crafted to perfection, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean. But what truly elevated the experience was the staff. They deserve all the praise in the world for their outstanding service! Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, they made sure every aspect of the meal was flawless. Their genuine enthusiasm and care for their guests left a lasting impression. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re in Edinburgh and looking for a fantastic spot that combines incredible food with impeccable service, MITSOS is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

Homemade food served by its own owner; family atmosphere and the hostess spreads the joy of living and cooking

Food is superb 👌 we were group of 8 people having breakfast and all of us was impressed and super happy. Staff is very nice, not too long waiting and prices are reasonable. Thank you.

My wife had acute disease and I cancelled my reservation 6 hours before, called the restaurant nobody answered and was charged for reservation. Incredible !!! Below the response is a lie. I called at least 4 hours before reservation and it was a serious sickness and nobody picked up the phone. I have evidence! A restaurant that lies!!!

I was so disappointed in this place! After being there for a meal with my friends and place being absolutely roasting and us complaining about it several times however we decided to return for drinks in their “wine bar” however situation was changed because of the baby at home so we couldn’t make it, I gave them a call 3h prior our arrival to say we can’t make it, to which very rudely I was told that they will charge me 10£ per person!!! Not per table, but per person!!! I didn’t even manage to hang up before my card was already charged 40£ I am absolutely shocked about the attitude and the price they charge. I would never return even if living in the area and have passed this around my friends to not return either. Very disappointed!

Met up with an old friend here and had a delicious meal with impeccable service, would reccomend!

Food was brilliant, if expensive, so many great options. Place feels a bit like a cafe though and cold with delivery drivers served through the front door. Couldn't fault the staff though.

I ordered a lamb burger. Very dry cutlet. slightly burnt in places. Arabic music, too loud. I do not advise.
