The best restaurants in Meadows / Morningside Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Went there today and sat in for a fresh pastry and an Americano. They have fresh pastries, soups, and a relaxed atmosphere with a few tables, great artwork, and other assorted goods to purchase. I would highly recommend this place. It has been under the name of Kafe Kweer for awhile now.

This is one of the best places to go if you want fun and play pool,snooker,darts,poker or even table tennis,this place is behind the old post office in Morningside road ,the staff there look after you from start to finish

Was a regular when I lived here 3 years ago and have now been back and it is the same as ever. Amazing service from such a lovely owner, the most delicious authentic african wraps whose quality has not changed, and great value/price. Cute atmosphere to sit in for a casual meal out, highly recommend!

Very happy vegan girl here 🥰 the vegan cheese board is delicious and absolutely worth trying! The environment is cozy and welcoming and the service is great too.

Had a delicious meal with authentic flavours! The aubergine dish was amazing, and I would highly recommend the mango spring rolls for dessert. The food was far beyond our expectations! The owner was kind and personable and lovely to chat to.

You need to update your location in Google maps Mitsos! First time to be "catfished" by a restaurant! 🫣😅 Felt like the myth of the flying Dutch the effect of Fata Morgana... the restaurant was completely shut for this specific location of the Google maps!

This is what an amazing neighborhood bistro should be like. It’s small - only six tables. The food was eclectic and delicious. I loved the view from the dining room with the large picture windows over looking the park and in view of Arthur’s Seat. Our server was very knowledgeable having worked at one of my favorite 3* Michelin restaurants in Spain. It was the last restaurant we got to try on our trip to Edinburgh and it was well worth it. Highly recommended!

Our go to place! Our absolute favourite local. An amazing selection of wine and beer, and the team know everything about everything! We had a gorgeous cheese platter, olives and almond snacks and they also have Bellfield beer on draught (GF and and the best local beer!!) and just the most incredible wine selection. 100% authentic best night every time.
