Great place, tasty lunch options and nice atmosphere! Very nice staff too :)

To be brutally honest, we ended up here by accident. We wanted to try Campervan Brewery and my partner made an error between here and the taphouse. Given the taphouse is seldom open we tried here and wasn't disappointed (accept for one beer which ran out). It's down by Tom Kitchen, so good location overall. The inside was good, and would be cracking with a good summer. Plenty of variety on tap (even highlighting what's coming next), along with a fridge full of beers. Managed to secure some good local, and guest beers and happy to say we'd happily go back.

Disfrutamos de uno de los mejores desayunos que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. Mi marido tenía el desayuno completo y yo tenía los huevos florentine en la foto. La comida estaba recién cocinada, ambiente encantador, porciones generosas, el té y el café también estaban llenos de sabor, no puedo culparlo. También les quitamos algunos de sus brownies increíbles para más tarde. Buena relación calidad-precio y excelente elección.

For me, the best in the area. Amazing sandwiches, great people working there, very good value for money.

Best food amazing cocktails and great atmosphere

I visited this bar on Saturday at 11 PM, as it was the closest open establishment to my hotel. Despite the crowded conditions, I managed to squeeze in and secure the last available seat at the bar. However, I was immediately met with a dismissive "done" from the bartender/manager (which was our sole interaction). Given the bar's 1 AM closing time and the presence of numerous locals with full pints, it was evident that the bar was not winding down. I was the only non-local, under 50, fair-skinned person present so yeah wouldn't recommend.

Lots of variety of drinks and dishes for snacks, good prices and the atmosphere of the place is beautiful.

One of the best views you will get of the three bridges really nice inside lots of nice paintings to look at while you wait for your food meal,it was excellent I had the smoked haddock poached egg buttered mash coffee was perfect my wife loved her steak pie the meringue to o share was huge and cook to perfection servace was really good attentive friendly without being obtrusive

Fantastic wee pub. Decent priced drinks by Edinburgh standards these days. Friendly staff, live music, quizzes and live sports and cracking well priced pizzas. Lovely proper old school pub. Can’t understand why some reviewers put the boot into this great café, which is tucked away on a local-knowledge walking path. I don’t love the brutalist architecture, nor does there ever seem to be anyone working in the attached “sculpture workshop”, but the brunch menu is well-curated and everything we ate was extremely tasty. Couldn’t fault the quality of the service either. We are returning this week for a special event featuring a competitively-priced gourmet “spring has sprung” evening meal, happy to be making another visit to an excellent spot.

Excelentes precios Rollo de tocino tenía un montón de tocino y sopa de lentejas era un poco picante pero una buena porción de tamaño. Popular entre los lugareños para un almuerzo a un precio muy razonable. Aseos limpios a lo largo del corredor. Personal agradable

Mi decaf americano no estaba recién hecho y sabía a café instantáneo. Arranca. ¡Incluso pedí un reemplazo y sirvieron lo mismo de nuevo!
