Felt like a local coffee shop due to the superbly friendly staff. A nice atmosphere. Well done to them. It should be what all places do, but they don’t. Top marks all.

The server louise was brilliant! Helped me with all my requirements and was very presentable and professional. Credit to her!

the cashier louise is not suitable for this job. I waited 15 minutes to take my order and another 10 minutes to only receive my single express.many people behind me were leaving.

The staff are always amazing and super helpful! Petra and Marilyn both made our visit incredibly enjoyable and kept us feeling safe and appreciated as customers

Asistí hoy para tomar un café o algo cuando salgo con amigos. Cuando le pregunté por la cantidad de azúcar, la chica que estaba detrás del mostrador se puso más a la defensiva y dijo que no sabía qué era gratis o qué no. Encuentro esto atroz, soy diabético con problemas de azúcar en la sangre y no puedo tener azúcar. Soy mi dieta. Espero que el personal esté bien informado. Afortunadamente, un compañero diabético me aconsejó qué debía tener e incluso ella dijo que las cosas sin azúcar que se ofrecen son deficientes y que el conocimiento del personal es siempre deficiente. . . vamos Starbuck mejorar.

I go to this Starbucks almost weekly The staff are quick and brisk and take my order . I have never eat or drink in there but the seating arrangement look a bit tight I would recommend the Frappuccino’s

As I nipped in for a tall filter coffee to-go I had to enquire as to why my purchase was more than advertised. It turns out that an additional charge is now applied for paper cups. As this is not advertised anywhere in this shop when I visited and received zero apologies I feel this is just wrong.

Tidy, clean and quick service. Good quality toilets. Small range of mugs to buy. Nice stop off point while shopping.

Horrible service, not a smile to be had by any of the two staff members on. Really slow with service, no name taken like other Starbucks. They both need lessons in customer care. Will go to Costa coffee if I am back at ocean terminal in future.

A new manager has come along and shoved all of the inside tables too close together. It’s very tight and uncomfortably close. I noticed that another very regular customer has moved outside (he always sits inside) and it’s no doubt as a result of this. You’re basically sitting within the personal space of another person! Horrible. So, new manager, leave things alone! This is a great Starbucks, the staff are brilliant and you’ll end up losing custom to Costa if you make it so crammed.

Usually great Starbucks with a good personal service from great staff. But somehow someone has decided to pack the seating in differently. Regular customer sitting outside clearly feeling claustrophobic. Get the wooden chairs back in the window and displays out of the road.

Serve oat milk which is very helpful as my wife is a vegan. Also had some nice snacks which was tasty after a break from stocking up provision for a self catering stay in the Harbour apartments

Went to Starbucks to meet with friends . The staff were not very friendly ,the area and tables were still dirty from previous customers so there were no clean areas to sit inside. The toilets were disgusting too urine and toilet tissue over the floor, the last Check for 15.20 had not been signed and we arrived at around 18.00. Not impressed at all will not be back to Starbucks !

Agree with previous reviewers, a pretty average Starbucks, which does however benefit from a few tables outside in the mall. This is a nicer place to sit drinking your coffee than inside, which is pretty small and can be crowded.

We visited today and it took quite a while for our drinks. They have some festive cakes (ie white choc rocky road) but this was only available to buy in a gift pack and not for eating in.

I am a regular customer and always receive great service. It's good to be here when the extrovert staff are serving because it is not the normal conversation and they are always entertaining. The service doesn't stop when the manager is not there. Sometimes when tourists converge 20 at a time another till magically opens. The staff are well trained and allowed to take decisions. It is the usual Starbucks fare but the shelves are regularly stacked up. The only criticism is that sometimes the tables need to be cleaned more. But hey the smell of coffee in the morning is good!

Time before work so grabbed a quick coffee. Located downstairs and just at entrance it is within easy reach. Staff are great and attentive. Seats are comfortable and I recommend the sofa. The only thing putting me of this place was sitting in. Don't get me wrong it's pleasant enough but you are charged to sit in and I should stress per item.

The girl with the multi-coloured hair is always talking/shouting REALLY loudly. Even with headphones on full in you can hear her screechy voice above anything else it doesn't make for a relaxing coffee break. I have found this on at least three visits

Called in for a coffee. I ordered a toffee nut latte which was o k found it very sweet so wouldn't order it again. Poor seating and only one toilet. Staff doing their best.

Stopped here for a coffee average Starbucks coffee but served in a pot mug. Small coffee shop with only one toilet that needs a good clean and tidy up. Staff nice.

Came here with friends for a coffee and catch up. Waited a while to be served as the queue was long. When we got our drinks and cakes and sat down the cakes didn't appear to be fresh maybe a day old. Was disappointing.

This place was dreary even by Starbucks normal standards. Coffee and service were ok (as expected) but the atmosphere here is just nothing, not even a slight caffeine buzz, and it was in need of a good clean not just a wipe over.

Brilliant store, with brilliant staff. Products are perfect as always. The store is kept clean and tidy, and well stocked

Just your ordinary typical Starbucks in a shopping centre, everything was average and coffee was ok and overpriced

Service was very slow in this branch and when you are on a coach trip you only have limited time my flat white coffee was nice but why can't starbucks make hot coffee this was barely warm

Right on the waters edge with a great view of Britannia's bow. We had a Gin Cocktail each which was really nice followed by their Brushcetta that was yummie.

Usually I am patient and never leave the review but cant stand to not say it loud this time. I am working in fast environment and customer service as well so have a clue what I am saying :) I love Starbucks, who doesnt. But i will never come back to this one for sure. Waitress asked ususal questions as take away, cream on top etc. I got everything opposite.Me and my partner came in for hot drinks and got opposite than ordered. I got my frapuccino with cream, and our snacks in the take away back. But the worst was when my partner tasted his refreshing lemonade which was meant to be tea lemonade, however the taste was like if u would take and all day stayed tea with the tea bag in it without sugar. We kindly asked for sugar as there was no sign which on is sugar, and the waitress shouted yes take this one. Taking in consideration that she was standing few steps from us :)

Slow service and not helpful staff. The coffee was not the way we ordered..There are nicer coffee shops in the building..

Visited here twice during July, both early mornings. Service was friendly and professional enough, and coffee was ok. There are plenty of tables, chairs etc both inside and out in shopping plaza. No complaints.

Left a restaurant nearby as their service was so slow, and came here for coffee. Good choice. Efficient, professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend this branch of Starbucks.

Popped in for a coffee, service was slow and the staff just looked fed up. The tables were dirty, the milk was all empty and the whole place looked dirty and run down. Desperately needs a make over and a good clean!

Dirty tables inside and out, three staff working, one making drinks slowly for a long line of customers, one checking her emails on phone and reading them out to the bored looking girl on the till.

you can sit in or outside on the harbour. coffee is excellent & they also have nice cakes & pastries. reasonably priced. The staff are very polite, nothing is to much trouble for them

We have visited this place yesterday. First of all the girl who was serving us didn't seem to be happy to work at all, secondly the look of all tables was disgusting dirty cups, sticky tables. I am wondering if 3 members of staff can't handle it while is very quiet I am afraid to think what is going on during the Weekend. When we wanted to seat at the table ( of course very dirty and sticky ) my boyfriend asked one of the guy to wiped it for us. It took them almost ages to finished up their chat and send someone else to wiped table for us with a really, really big unhappy expression on their faces , that how we could even asked for that.

Just been in for a coffee and a member of staff was making a roll up cigarette at the coffee collection point!! gross!!

Fui nesta Starbucks apenas para comprar as canecas de lembrancinha, aquelas típicas de cada região que o Starbucks tem. E que raiva! Já comprei estas canecas em outros lugares, e sempre os atendentes são bem solícitos, em especial na embalagem das mesmas, porque é um item muito frágil. Talvez eu sempre tenha dado sorte, não sei, mas nessa loja a atendente estava em um mal humor tão grande. Quando pedi alguma embalagem ela só meu deu uma sacola pequena, lembrando que tem que pagar 5p pelas sacolas em Edimburgo, que não cabia as canecas. Quando reclamei ela fez aquela cara "seu atendimento já terminou". Saí com tanta raiva de lá!

I'm afraid that this is not a welcoming coffee lounge. It is quite hard and stark. The coffee is good enough and up to Starbucks' usual standard and the usual expensive pastries are on offer, but there is nothing inviting about it.

Nice little starbucks with seating inside and outside the cafe all within ocean terminal. Tea n a berry juice burst.

This Starbucks was so so when I visited. The tables outside were pretty dirty but then I think it had probably been quite busy.

Went for coffee at Starbucks ocean terminal. Not a good start got charged £1.60 instead of £1.0 for filter coffee. Batista came up with a made up excuse. Called CS who refunded the £1.60.

오션 터미널에서도 스타벅스 커피 마셨죠. 깔끔한 시설에 맛있는 커피. 가격은 우리 나라보다 조금 비싼거 같아요. 샌드위치는 우리 입맛에 전혀 안맞아요. 먹지 못할정도. 스타벅스 샌드위치는 나라마다 입맛에 맞춰 만드는듯..

Hubby and I went for our coffees today, sat down tables full of the last people's mess , floor covered with napkins etc , tables sticky in need of a clean . And to top it off the coffee is Luke warm . Very disappointed. Need to clean up better cos it would put me off coming back and to make the coffee hot .

Another starbucks with typical service - tables were dirty and with full of used cups and no one was there to clean as staff was busy in attending new customers. But even after that they took 20 mins from ordering to serving a single cup of coffee. good luck

We popped in as it was about the only place open on New Year's Day. I had a hot chocolate which could have been hotter, but the service was efficient and I had a minced pie which was excellent. I find these designer coffee houses pretty sterile, lacking atmosphere- I much prefer the old fashioned tea rooms!

i went with a few friends in the weekend and was purely horrified with the rude staff and bad quality of food.

Was in here with a Starbucks coffee lover and having a dairy intolerance was not sure what I would order but they have coconut milk so I tried a coconut milk latte's which was different but very nice.

Always love having a Starbucks when I go to Ocean T. The staff are friendly and helpful and always give me what I ordered. If you can't sit inside they have more seats outside and it's good that you can ask for a takeaway cup even if you are sitting in as you might want to finish off your shopping while drinking your coffee.

Coffee frap was really good, just don't drink it too quickly (brain freeze) found the baristas a little lifeless but service was fine.

Popped in for a much welcomed break from shopping with my son on a recent visit. The staff were very friendly. He was having a hot milk, and the staff asked about steaming it to a lower temperature so it wasn't too hot for him, and offered chocolate on top!

Efficient service with a smile ok not enough seating at times but great coffee and choice of cake etc. Nice to sit in the seats out on the mall see the world go by or read a paper.

My visitor from Germany and I went to this place for coffee and sandwich .being a proud Scot I wanted to show her the city..This place was not clean, the outside tables were not cleared and dirty.We had to move all the crockery off the table on to a chair beside it, but there was so much of it ,it would not fit and so we had to eat surrounded by left overs and dirty cups...a total mess and an embarrassment .My guest could not make out what the counter staff said as they muttered..Tables outside were in internal landing seemed to be being used for people just having a seat as there were too few of them elsewhere..Best avoided ...and I see this is nothing new from other reviews. It costs almost nothing to clean up tables....

Hubby & I called into Starbucks when we visited Ocean Terminal in February 2015. Few seats were free inside so I spotted a vacant table in the mall & got my husband to call in for a latte for me & tea for him (in hindsight I should have gone in myself).

Went in looking för a table there was about 75% seating available unfortunately the tables were dirty and cluttered.A member of staff was approached but she did not seem to be bothered,she claimed they had been very busy and that is why the tables had not been cleared.I told her we going elsewhere,she just looked blankly and shrugged.The shop didn't seem to be under staffed,they just didn't seem to care.Come on Starbucks must do better.

Modern well maintained Starbucks in the shopping center. Staff were friendly and we were served quickly.

Typical Starbucks. Can't fault them. Great coffee and friendly staff. My son is always treated well. Good seasonal selection of coffees and cakes!

I'd never normally complain but my partner and I both ordered frappucinos and they were so watered down, flavorless, and all around not what we had come to expect from Starbucks. As I said, the thought of complaining terrifies me, and the service we received exemplifies why: we were scoffed at by the woman who originally made the drinks, when we explained why we felt they should be remade, she rolled her eyes in disapproval, when we thanked her for making us new drinks she simply refused to make eye contact and pretended to be occupied elsewhere. The new drinks were brilliant, it's just such a shame that she acted the way she did, complete childishness.

Completely agree with all the other comments about this being dirty, crowded and having poor service. It has the air of a refugee camp after a natural disaster, but without the benefit of any of the organisation or pride. Avoid.

Bit confused about service here.Ordered hot pannini and two coffees told they would bring out when ready.Server came out eventually asking who the coffees were for,apparently you are supposed to wait for them!The hot snack had also been lying in wait as well.

Suspect the place is ok as when the manager appeared it did appear to be a friendly environment but on entering the premise there were a few empty tables but all were requiring cleared of dirty cups and wiped. Sat down at one which the member of staff walked past without clearing which I had to do myself.

Definitely won't be going back here. Only stopped in to crab a hot cocoa after picking up a gift. Tables were filthy and the place was heaving with people. The service was super slow and the food was gross. This place was way nicer when it first opened but it has certainly gone down hill.

first visit to this Starbucks and it was ok. Usual coffee, buns and sandwiches quality look after itself, therefore it's down to the premises, welcome from staff and the cleanliness of the tables. Premises are ok but do not afford the views over the Water of Leith etc. Staff nice and friendly but the tables took a wee while to clear

Visited this Starbucks twice while staying nearby, on both occasions it was a pleasant visit and the drinks were spot on caramel coffee FRAP and a latte. Staff we're friendly and look forward to my next visit here.

A few months ago we went for a coffee near the end of the day and were forgiving about the dirty state of the floor and the general messy appearance. Yesterday we gave Starbucks a second chance, this time in the middle of the day but it was just as poor. Tables were not cleared and the actual tables were dirty while the staff members stood chatting. My cafe latte was Ok but my friend's hot chocolate was barely warm. Considering all the 'talk' that is written in the cafe it does not come close to providing a pleasant expereince for a cup of coffee. Disappointed.
